I can't get out of a speeding ticket but this guys kill a 10 year old boy and two adults who are helping him and he walks away free? The system is a joke.
This happens a lot, when someone under the age of 18 murders they usually get out at age 19 or 21, its disgusting
I came here to say the same thing.
Tell me about it, I had my license suspended and put on probation in 2001 for 3 speeding tickets in 6 months for doing 35 on a 30, 55 on a 50 twice. All 5 mph above the speed limit, which was all BS, I was just targeted. "You took off too fast" WTF does that even mean? I saw the cop there, why would I do such a thing? It's because I was Asian, driving a brand new bright red 2000 Civic Si, lowered with rims, during the Fast and Furious days. I would get pulled over just because "routine stop". Glad they got rid of that policy. I haven't gotten a speeding ticket or moving violation since. I following the rules of the road and is a big car enthusiast, so I take driving and safety seriously.
Even as a conservative, I still don't fully support the police or the broken system. 23 years later and it still pisses me off because of the broken system.
...And he collected some inheritance from the family he murdered. Talk about backwards laws. Found guilty of murder and get paid by the victims. Goes to show you that laws do not have to make sense.
The problem is that the Police have to meet their speeding fine quota that their sergeant compels them to before their actual technical shift starts & they begin to work on actual serious crime.
It's all got to do with revenue raising.

I agree. The truth will always come out eventually, especially nowadays with the advent of genetic DNA testing. Lying to a child about their adoption is deeply unfair to them, and can have devastating consequences when the truth inevitably comes out. This guy is exhibit A when it comes to that. 😕

I wasn't adopted but my mom's parents made her marry another man not my dad when she became pregnant because he was more successful. My dad wanted to marry her too but he was just a pilot. Not considered a real job in 1952. It really messed me up. I couldn't understand why my dad didn't love me and treated me so bad. My grandmother confessed on her death bed when I was 20. I was devastated but it all finally made sense. Apparently I looked just like my real dad.

The more I watch Dr. G's videos it seems like the vast majority of the brutality and murder are by people with no such public records. They resemble the person next door. Ordinary citizens living a seemingly ordinary life for ordinary pursuits. Not this video, the people in this situation could have done what you're saying. But this doesn't cover much territory. If we watch Dr. G's videos regularly we can see the majority of these horrific cases contain people who seem like the least likely to do godawful criminal acts. People without criminal records who we wouldn't suspect.

I’m married, 8 months pregnant, and I know my chances of being 💀 would statistically be by my spouse, but honestly, love and trust is a leap of faith at some point. And knowing that my husband trusts me not to 💀 him either makes me feel trusted too lol

Never hide from a child that they are adopted. It’s often devastating when they find out when they are older - especially if it’s in adolescence. My youngest is adopted. She always knew she was. I would bring it up matter of factory at, say, a doctor’s appointment when asked about family history. I knew, in time, she would ask what it meant. When she was about six, she finally asked. I told her it meant that me and his dad wanted another child but I couldn’t have more babies (I had two sons from a previous marriage but had to have my tubes ties after the second). I said we heard about a woman who had a baby that she wasn’t able to care of and we said we would and that was her. She seemed to accept this. About a year later, she asked me “So (her two other siblings) came out of your belly but I came out of another woman’s. Did I come out and crawl into your belly”? I started to again explain when she added “How do babies get out anyway? Is there a zipper or something”?
A bittersweet but cute story.

I can't blame Joe's biological mom for cutting him off after finding out what he did. She did a selfless thing by giving him up so another family could raise him. To think you saved someone just so they can go on and end other people's lives, pretty sad.
The fact he could refuse mental health treatment while in a facility & then inherent the estate of the adoptive parents he murdered is wild. Good for the biological mother for putting logic over emotion, and stealthy getting him out of the house & changing her locks. I know that was hard to reconnect to your child that you gave up for adoption, really try your best to help him, only to find out that he murdered the people that stepped up to raise him & then kick him out of your life again.
Dr Grande needs to put out a _narcissist bingo card_ so we can play at home and check off the personality flaws and score against the analysis at the end.

Beginning during the teen years, apoptosis severs unused pathways to optimize the system. In adulthood, the mature brain is used from the top-down for decision-making. If an unwanted child is more than likely conceived out of wedlock by a fatherless teen mother raised by her single mother without a high school diploma in a dysfunctional cycle of poverty, addiction, and violence, maybe this is the place to start preventive interventions.
Many psychologists have, over the years, supported the notion that people like Joe can be reliably rehabilitated and have advised parole boards, legislators and judges that they should be released into the community. Unlike ignorant laypeople, including romantic partners of psychopathic killers, they have no excuse.
Can you imagine adopting out of the goodness of your heart and the kid kills you? Mind boggling

True story, a child was adopted in my hometown by an attorney, the child was returned for reasons I don’t personally know and never chose to attempt to discover. The child aged out of foster system, moved to another state and there he eventually met, lived with, and murdered my father. I practice law now in the same town as his almost-adoptive father. I’ve never spoken to that attorney but if I ever did, he wouldn’t know me since I have a married name for many years now. Sounds like fiction but very true.

People who adopt or where the child has a different father, please tell the child from when they are little. I have it in my family and known of others too where the child finds out as a teenager or adult and it is devastating most of the time. 😔

This is how every minor in Canada is treat under Youth Offenders Act. I lived in Alberta and I remember news that a minor had wiped out his entire family of seven people. No name was ever released and you cannot find a news article about it. That was in the 90s. The youth offender has no criminal record when they are released, and their name is kept confidential. So if you live in Alberta or Canada, he could be your neighbor or the guy you work with.
Joe should have been put in prision when he killed his adopted parents and one sibiling. He should have had a life sentence

So heart breaking, take this kid in, and he not only murders them, but there son.. There last legacy of this world.. its so dark.. then he doesnt even show remorse by taking mental health counseling.. then takes there money, and makes the surviving family have to deal with him over estate issues.. If they fixed the law in WI why don’t they go ahead and charge him? There’s supposed to be no statute of limitations on murder. He was never charged with it and never tried on it.
I wish he had commented on the possible cause. Adopted children often are troubled there must be severe trauma from the separation and lack of care at a critical time while an infant. Something must happen to brain development obviously not to all so severly but every adopted child I know had issues.
While plausible, some people are just horrible beings without childhood trauma.
Genetics are responsible for 70 - 75 percent of your personality according to child psychologist Dr. James Dobson. The adoptive parents probably only had about 25 percent input.
There’s the primary caregiver scenario. Babies birth~ 2 require a present, nurturing, responsive primary caregiver (usually mother) and this sets the secure attachment style in place for the child for life, usually. In the case of a disruption in/absence of this relationship, then an insecure attachment style forms. Google to see a list of those but includes a pattern of r’ships featuring behaviours/thoughts like pushing people away(they’ll just leave me anyway), being inappropriately close(I need to keep them close so the don’t leave me), etc. perhaps Joe, and many adopted children struggle because of a disruption to the mother/infant bond. It’s heartbreaking but obviously not cause for murder

This case is a Kafkaesque mind-boggling case.
Two loving people adopt their future murderer, who not only pretty much gets away with it, but is also rewarded with their inheritance. The biological mother has another son, which I understand she decides to keep, while renewing her relationship with the lost son, only to find out she is housing a butcher. This POS seems to have it easy with women, despite being an obvious creep, and is forgiven again and again by Candy.
So basically he's just roaming around, has never really paid for his crimes, just looking for more victims, while hiding his monstrous side?

That’s good it all worked out because it very well could’ve gone the other way. Someone close to me found out the truth about their dad and they were already in their 30’s when the truth came out and it has had devastating effects on them ever since then!

The couple who adopted him most probably also did not 'bond' with him, but did not see the signs. Adopting another son must have caused greater rift and jealousy too perhaps? After release, there could have been some youth detention/training center sentencing. His focus until age 21 at least should be recorded - then these can be held against any future unlawful behavior - like longer sentencing maybe.
