This. I tried both and Eau Intense wins by a mile for me.
I own both and I love light blue forever much much more, I bought 2 of 100ml right after I put it on at first time. I like the pure fresh grapefruit scents more than the ocean and mints tone on the intense, and the grapefruit thing is much unique and iconic I think.
I 100% agree! I just tried Forever today and immediately bought a 100ml bottle, it’s so good!

same for me, no matter how many times I smelled "intense" I couldn't get myself to like that salty smell, but first time smelled "forever" bought it on the spot !
I own both, and to be honest, LBF is my preferred. It's an acquired smell. The bottle is even sexier. I guess some people aren't fans of grapefruit.

Great choise for a video, I have seen LB intense being hyped up but then forever came out and apart from all the reviews I wanted to know what the masses thought about these two in case I might think about buying one

I first I was kinda turned off by forever but it grew on me. Waiting for that price to drop though
For me, the outcome was easy to predict before watching the video. Eau Intense is a mass appealing fragrance, whereas Forever is more specific and hones in on the grapefruit accord. To the general population (non-frag heads) Eau Intense would easily win out in a side by side blind test because the testers will usually pick what’s generally pleasant and “familiar” to the nose and not necessarily what’s unique or challenging.

And that’s what matters in smelling great. To have people tell you that you smell good or smell sexy instantly, not let me think about if they smell good or not and analyze your fragrance to examine how pretentious it is.

I second that because it's a hard choice. Jeremy says EDP, but nearly every other reviewer says Parfum. That's why we absolutely need this battle for sure.

Light blue forever to me is far better than Intense. The freshness and authentic smell of the grapefruit and Bergamot is just so refreshing and projects better in my opinion. Both very solid choices though

My perceptions from these two is that the Forever is bitter than the Intense version because of the vetiver in it. I really cound't understand why the girls thought Forever is sweeter, else than they had sprayed a different / wrong fragrance in the card. For me / on my skin, Forever is much a more masculine fragrance than Intense.

Exactly two of my CZcams guys say that forever is better and the more preferred and then on here forever is getting beat badly by intense so this is interesting
Forever smells musky up close but much better in the air. I find the same with ADG profumo. Patchouli can smell dirty/musky up close.

Wait, I thought the angle on these D&Gs was they are summer scents? These people got jackets on, outside, wth.... try that in the south when it's 98° and the humidity is so high it feels like 115° .... When I gotta be out and about in that kind of heat, and that's most of the summer I don't want anything on but mostly straight up citrus.... anything else either goes funky or downright cloying.... for the kinds of summers in my area Forever works best for the better part of the season. EI works best for those transition times.... Maybe but I personally prefer Forever...

As soon as I clicked the video I knew Forever would get destroyed. For some reason some girls think Forever smells like sweat. Don’t get me wrong I prefer Forever but non fragheads don’t seem to like it.

I have both and definitely prefer light blue forever over intense. D&G intense smells off-putting with a salty rotten smell that I can't get past. Just my opinion, I really tried to like it. Surprisingly I went through a full 100ml despite not enjoying it 🤣 The performance is very good and I do get frequent compliments with both. I like forever in very high heat but it's nothing groundbreaking, it's just a realistic citrus that is very easy to wear for the summer. I know many who love light blue intense so if you smell it and like it, give it a go. Just be aware that I don't think either one is a safe blind buy, especially at retail prices.

Light Blue Forever is all about true Grapefruit in the opening so its kinda strange you didn't mention that but only the standard ingredients lemon and bergamotte 😅
@Seth freakin rollins But the intense and realistic note of grapefruit is unique, the fragrance itself might be another summer fragrance but a truly great one for hot days, at the beach or on vacation.
Eau Intense is pretty much basic too, it won because it was the more weather fitting fragrance of the two, summer's over in germany so masculine and somewhat gentleman/clean laidback fragrances and very sweet fragrances are on the count now.
Forever everyday for me, but have to say Italian Love is my new favorite! But suprised that it got reckt by the intense. Also where is this filmed?

I don't know when they recorded this but I get why Eau Intense was preferred, summer is over in germany, there are days where its up to 20°C but as of now its between 7°C and 16°C, the summer heat is gone so the more clean laidback Eau Intense is a more fitting. Light Blue Forever has that strong fruity grapefruit giving beach vibes which would have been great a month and two ago but not now 😄

Exactly, I guess it was between 15-20°C at the time some of the girls and people walking by were also wearing jackets, blazers, button ups or eventually a pullover, though a couple girls were in a dress or light tops but they were most likley from my expierence going to dinner, a bar or return from shopping as a few a had a jacket in their hands.
We are in the low to mid 10s these days so I already and with pleasure could wear heavy duties like Stronger With You, Le Male Le Parfum and Armani Code Profumo at daytime.

Also great choises on the frags my friend, recently got LM LP and already love it, also got the new stronger with you absolutly, it's not that different to the intensly tbh, both are equally great. I surprisingly don't have any armani code haha, but try Sauvage elixir when it gets cheaper, I had a discount coupon on parfumdreams and used it to get Elixir and I have to say it's really unique and beautiful, also it developes quite a lot from the opening to the drydown. I gereally don't like the ''The scent'' line from Hugo Boss but the scent absolute has won me over as a cold weather scent, if you dont have it go try it in a boutique

Tried both, Quality both are equal (typical D&G suave type) however Girls prefer Intense a lot more and its much sexier, no wonder since the Drydown smells similar like Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, which is a compliment monster. Sweet Mandarine Note is just better to pull girls than sour Grapefruit imo
Interestingly tho PdM Percival has a sour type Mandarine, and it still pulls you attention, so its definetly the fruit itself that women prefer as a scent.
I love Eau Intense and don't really like Forever much, and I have realized that I don't like the smell of grapefruit.
