The nice thing about these flankers is that you can usually find them at discounters in a few months which makes them nicely affordable.

I am a huge fan of the intense version, for some strange reason I gifter the last bottle I had to a friend, and I am now looking to repurchase. I was so excited when I saw this new version on the website of my local perfumer in Nigeria and was ready to whip out my card. Common sense said to get a review first, and I am so glad I did. Would not want a fragrance that doesn't last long especially in our climate. Thanks a lot for your review Soki. The Intense version beats. xo

I like all the LBâs Iâve smelled, the only one I havenât tried is Dreaming in Portofino. Iâve tried the Forever hand cream (they didnât have the fragrance yet), and found it quite similar to the original LB.
This is my favorite from the light blue range. Smelled it in the store and it was like wow I need this at the beach.

Great review, Soki!! I'm also obsessed of the blood orange note and that's why my favourite fragrance is Chanel Chance Eu Vive! In this version of Light Blue I also feel the lemon note a bit more..I juts buy it so I can't say if it's long lasting but since they did a good job with the essence version I hope this one will be good as well. And what do you think about TWILLY D"HERMES?

Agree with you 100%. Can't detect any blood orange. The opening is white florals and dry down is apple and lemon. It's very long lasting... I'm so happy with this purchase and got it on special this Boxing Day! I hope they don't discontinue it because i love it better than the original. Also more unique cause everybody knows the original.
I think the performance is better than Aerin's EDP. I have the Mediterranean Honeysuckle. I prefer Light Blue Forever.
I love Light Blue Sun (yellow bottle) and I agree none of the Light Blue line last at all. I bought Soul of Amalfi by DUA that is a dupe of Tom Ford Sole Di Positano and it is a beast mode projection and long lasting gorgeous scent. Wallet friendly and way way better than Light Blue. Itâs like more of grown woman aquatic fragrance that you can even wear on date night. Not necessarily a daytime casual vibe like Light Blue. Try it.

I did try it out. I prefer it to the original edt. Itâs much stronger, bolder and more long lasting and the lemon note is beautiful. Lasted very long on clothing.

I splashed it on my wrist and could smell citrus and cashmere. I couldn't smell any musk, and I was actually happy about it. What I liked the most about LB Forever is, that it doesn't change scents once you are wearing it. It surprised me that even 5 hours later, when I was at home, the scent was just the same on me. A surprise! :)
I had the original Light Blue way back during the time that it came out and I remember it lasting quite a bit and projecting. Esp on clothes But now the new ones they don't even last on clothes. I still love it though and the flankers because its super hot here. I would still prefer to top up every 2-3 hrs whatever I'm wearing.

I picked this up and unlike so many this is a lemony, musky bomb off my skin. Iâm a guy so that might effect my skin chemistry reaction with this one but itâs still a pleasant wear for me.

I love the Light Blues! Especially SUN and Love is Love. So, I blind bought the travel size FOREVER when I saw it on the Sephora site. OK, this is going to be petty, but I need to vent. I wish this line was not called LIGHT BLUE. It's not an interesting name and it doesn't smell BLUE at all. Would have preferred something like CITRON, or CITRINE or ENERGIE or ELATION. Something bright. Would love to hear other other people's suggestions...just for fun.
Blue is your colour you look stunning. Iâm afraid to blind buy any of the light blue range I used to wear it ions ago and loved it but recently blind bought the Sun one and I canât stand it. It smells like lemon cleaner I get no coconut nor vanilla nor any of the base notes. Very disappointing. I really would love to try Escape to Panera, can you tell me if itâs worth getting.

The Eau Intense for women is a great fragrance! IÂŽm a man, and I prefer to wear that one way over the manÂŽs version, which I honestly canÂŽt stand (donÂŽt like something in its aquaticness, have tried several times but nope, not for me). Curious to smell these new ones, both the women and men versions to see how they compare.

I just blind bought intenseâŠ. And it had a masculine dry down on me.. a musky flowerâŠ.. disappointing a bit and I bought the largest bottle⊠it lasted me AGES! I took a shower and scrubbed it off my wrist 3 times! It wouldnât come offâŠ. It stuck on me like nothing else I ownâŠ. And it wasnât a good thing for me⊠and yes I bought the womanâs rectangular bottle
I agree, the intense version is quite masculine, musky, woody with an aquatic undertone. I'm returning it, unfortunately, this fragrance was not for me.

Hi! I, too found it to be similar to the original. And it disappoints me just a bit-I was really looking forward to buying it. It is light and nice, though. Staying power on me is something like 3-4 hours. Just a tiny bit longer than the original.
I keep hearing how good the D&G Light Blue range is, but knowing that theyâre pricks I refuse to give them my money. But at the same time Iâm really torn.
Could always grab a second-hand bottle from someone on mercari or eBay just to test it out !

I find this Forever version does last
I find it slightly sweet and not as fresh as the original, but whereas the original somehow fades away fast and I am left with this over-sweet, giving me a headache, smell of musk/amber, Forever remained the same. It's pleasant. I hope DG will one day produce Light Blue only with the first notes of the original. I love them, but can't stand the scent which is developed.
