In this video I’m riding Predil pass which is located in the Julian Alps, between the peaks of Mount Mangart to the north and Mount Kanin to the south. It connects Cave del Predil, part of the Italian municipality of Tarvisio in the northwest, with the Municipality of Bovec in the Upper Soča (Isonzo) Valley in Slovenia. The road is a mixture of narrow older alpine road surfaces and some pretty awesome well maintained corners.

ordered mine 6 months ago and this helping kill the wait time
I got my gsx-s1000GT+ 2 months ago and i love it!
Awesome! How do you find the bike now after 4 months? Do you have any points you've discovered on your own that are not usually not mentioned in other CZcams reviews for other potential buyers? Greetings mate!
This bike is amazing I own one and I love it
Have fun with it, it is amazing bike! Hopefully winter won't last long or at least won't be harsh and we will be able to ride more :) well, at least where I live :)
I was there before 1 week, also on the side montain road "Mangart" ...
Nice SUZI sound...👍
Regards from AUSTRIA 🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹
Nice 👍
I have a 2023 gsx S1000 all black and I couldn’t be happier. Was going to get a superduke 1290 but I didn’t like the ride and fiitment as I’m 6’3. The gsx rides better, fits better and much more fun to drive.
Hi @DasChristoff I did the same, I test drove KTM Super Duke GT and I was a bit disappointed. It's a great bike for fast riding, but incapable of cruising slow(er), which sometimes is a case when touring with a bike. The Suzuki GSX-S 1000 (GT) is a great bike and perfect all-rounder. I wish there would be more after market parts available, like seat or bar risers, etc. but this is usually the case with brand new models. I don't know how is for your model, are there already after market parts?
@@helmtube there’s a few things but no much at the moment. For me I just wanted a fender eliminator kit and the real seal cowl as I don’t ride a passenger(removed passenger pegs as well). I do want a full system exhaust but the only one I can find now is the M4. Yoshi would be nice but incredibly have to find in the US. Hoping more aftermarket support comes soon.
@@DasChristoff I have the new model GSX-S 1000 on a 2022 plate but not the GT version....I have a Full Decat system fitted which came from Black Widow Exhausts in the UK and it's fabulous ...it's also very loud
I must ride here when we go back to Italy!
I've just been to Italy again. I drove the Italian, Swiss and French alps. Man that's heaven :) Videos are coming soon!
Just got this same bike last week, absolutely love it!
It's an amazing bike. After it will run in it will even run smoother. I wish you plenty of great rides with it! Cheers mate
absolutely stunning scenery, I love those old buildings but the road surface is terrible
Great video! Nice bike and beautiful scenery. The Mountian views and roads look very similar to where I ride here in Colorado USA. The only thing missing is the occasional moose standing in the middle of the road to test your emergency breaking skills. stay safe!
I heard you have some nice roads there, hopefully one day I can make it over the pool and do a motorcycle trip in the USA! Say hi to a moose next time and ride safe!
Beautiful 👍🏿 👍🏿 👍🏿
경치 좋고 라이딩 좋고 캬~~~~~
Hi, I am looking for summer gloves your seems to fit right in such weather - anything to recommend ?
The one I'm wearing here are Held Fresco gloves. They are great summer gloves. I would recommend them to you if you are looking for a glove which is super comfortable and doesn't feel like wearing a thick glove.
🥱🥱🥱🥱
Crank the speakers louder :D :D
Sorry, I really do NOT like the sound of that quick-shifter.. sounds clunky and harsh, can't be easy on the gears
It may sound clunky but it doesn’t feel that way. I assure you.
@@jeffringer7527 That's good to know, Jeff, thanks. I am seriously considering this bike... against the Yama-mama MT-10. I've been a Suzuki fan for a long time... but currently own a lovely FJR, so...
The quickshifter is butter-smooth, I can assure you that :)
Mechanical sounds don't necessarily mean wear or faults. Just bad dampening. And considering Suzuki almost never had gearbox issues, I'm very certain the transmission works fine here.
Also you need to know that what you hear in this video is not exactly how it feels or sounds when you are sitting on the bike. Sound is recorded with an external recorder which I put under the sear, it is somehow attached to motorcycle frame so I think it catches some metal noise which is transmitted through the frame. I know what clunky gearbox sounds like, you can trust me on that, I've been riding BMW boxer engine for four years now ;)
