- Dave and Ed’s Excellent Adventure took us into Fairmont WV for a quick stop after we visited Valley Falls. We snagged a few pictures, had a little history session, and grabbed a quick bite to eat. The whole day was a well needed reality break. If you ever want to visit West Virginia check out @wvtourism on Instagram and Facebook as a great resource to see what this state has to offer. See you on the next adventure. #daveandedea #wvtourism

As of now Ed and I both film on our cell phones. As our channels, hopefully, grow we will invest in cameras for videoing and jump into proper editing software. So please help us out and share our channels and videos wherever you can. We're proud of our state and would love to make this dream of showcasing our state a full time reality.
Another nice video! Food looks really good and the park area was very nice to see.
Yay an thank you
Have to make A stop at Yanns hot dogs.
My grandfathers birthplace. Going down next weekend to check it out.
I didn't get the memo the original pepperoni roll bakery was closed on Sundays....ended up with a Walmart bag full and honestly just yum
Nice job!
Nice video guys
One sunny day Fair Skinned Farrah went down to Fairmont Ford and bought herself a new Fairmont, even though the salesman at Fairmont Ford tried to convince her to buy a Fairlane. He even made her a fair offer giving her fair trade in on her old car. Now whenever Fairmont has fair-weather she drives the Fairmont she bought at Fairmont Ford around the fair city of Fairmont. Last Fall she even drove her Ford Fairmont to the Fairmont County Fair. Sounds like a fair affair to me.
My parents grew up in Fairmont, there's an interesting monument in nearby Monongah where the largest mining disaster was killing over 360 in the 1900s.
I graduated from Monongah high school in 1966
Too much face time need more Fairmont footage
@@jamespurpus88 I agree
Nice park along the Monongahels River; does it have a name. Saw the bridge pier; what's the history on that? Some of my family settled in Fairmont in the early 1900's; they were glass factory workers; anything there now? You should take a trip to Williamstown WV, across the Ohio River from Marietta OH. It was the home of Fenton Glass, but I'm told the factory is no more.
It's called Palatine Park. No more glass factories left.
