Looks like a decent place
This was a town my father lived in, and I can see why he stayed in North Kansas City, and Riverside, here in Missouri. This trip through Fairmont reminds me of outskirt Missouri cities and towns. A little bit of St. Joseph, Missouri pops in my head as well, riding along here. Thanks for sharing the ride, West Virginia and Appalachia!

I grew up right there by across the street from that sheets and that sheets was never there in the nineties and in that parking lot across the street was USA steak buffet which they tore down the building And video world was in that parking lot too
Welcome to Fairmont West Virginia. Where u going to Fairmont State University or just driving around. It use to be a donut shop many moons ago. Then a insurance place! Its been 6 or 7 yrs. We got dunkin donuts
Is this a good safe area? My fiancé and I are trying to figure out if any towns in WV would be good for us. Morgantown is so expensive. We’re pretty simple people that don’t need much but would like a decent, really safe, town in WV. This seems to have everything we’d need. He works remote and we are traditional people. Any ideas from anyone is very much appreciated ❤
If that Sheetz at the beginning is on the exit road off of I-79, I may have eaten there. Thanks for the look at the rest of the town.

Thank you Scotty for the drive down Fairmont Ave, Adams Street and Monroe Street. Not too many businesses were decorated for Halloween. I wonder what Christmas lights the city will put out this year.

You need to do more of montana mines you can't get lost all the road circle around or there dead end roads you can just turn around and go back but that up to you it's a nice little community
