Cleaning out silos can definitely be a dangerous job. I work at an ethanol plant and we have to use oxygen monitors to make sure the atmosphere inside the silo is safe to breath. Keep up the videos. I have been enjoying them.

Leather belts work great for getting a grip on filters for removal - most farmers are wearing one :)

If you lube your o ring a little more with clean oil, the filter won’t stick on there that hard.
Love the videos, keep them going,

A heavy duty mask when inside the silo. Lots of bacteria and mold spores floating around. Good work, stay safe.

A Tip, apply a thin coat of used motor oil on the filter's O ring so the filter can be removed easily next time you change it.

If you're having a hard time getting the filter off, use a screwdriver, hit it into the side of the old filter and use it as a lever

Hey Eric I love you videos I just started watching a couple weeks ago and I just finished your whole channel lol I'm dairy farmer in NY and I think you videos are great and helpful for informing people who want to learn more about dairy. I think it would be a cool video idea for you to talk about the farm some, the history, the generations, and where it's at now. Keep up the good work!
