I got a Golden puppy this past Thanksgiving and she's exactly the same way.

If they weren't meant for each other! He really latched on to her. My youngest Golden did the same with my wife when they met and it hasn't changed in 5 years, except when it's dinner time then I'm tops for 10 minutes!😊

What a lucky lady to get this baby for a gift. I know that she was overjoyed. Almost looked like he wanted to give your carpet a complimentary shower. Good baby that he is, he didn't even try it.
