Berlinetta directly translates as “little saloon”, this car is certainly not a saloon, but the name is fitting as the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is a “littler” car than its predecessor the 599 GTB. Thanks to this slightly smaller stature and an aluminium space frame chassis, developed in partnership with Scaglietti, the kerb weight and centre of gravity have been lowered significantly, helping towards this car’s spectacular performance figures.
This front mid-engined supercar from Fiorano is powered by a monstrous and unapologetically brutish 6.3L V12 engine developing no less than 731hp. These Italian ponies are all sent to the rear wheels through the rapid F1 DCT gearbox and well refined electronically limited slip differential. On its release the F12 was the most powerful road going Ferrari ever made and the car has won numerous awards including being named “The Supercar of the Year 2012” by Top Gear Magazine and winning the “International Engine of the Year Award 2013” for “Best Performance Engine” and “Best Engine above 4.0 Litres”.
Cutting edge aerodynamics developed from the 599XX and Ferrari F1 programmes were used in the F12, including the Aero Bridges on the front flanks creating down force. In addition, the F12 receives active brake cooling ducts, opening when the brakes are hot to provide a flow of cold air and otherwise remaining closed to help with smoother air flow around the front bumper. This car then, has the brains to back up the brawn of that epic V12. Overall the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta provides beautiful Italian styling, exhilarating performance and an intoxicating exhaust note, all characteristics that set this car up as a highly collectible, future classic, Ferrari.

Nicest people I've ever met in a car dealership. They recently let myself and my family look at all the cars in he showroom no questions asked, and told us a bit about every car including the amazing la Ferraris. When I can afford a supercar I'll be back thank you again romans
"Here's loads of money on the carbon. This carbon is green, so it's shedloads of more money. Onto the rear of the car - Again carrying on the theme of more money. OK, so onto the interior. Here we've got a money lined seat with money stitching and moneycantara lining."
lol
My thoughts exactly.
Design of the F12 is probably more pure, cleaner maybe, will look classier with years put on
Agree.. the 812 is awesome.. but that F12 spec is off the charts gorgeous. I wouldn’t sell that car
Not even 900miles in 5years what a waste
I know I din't get it. All these supercars no-one can drive. They don't want to put miles on them because they will depreciate to much. Might swell just get a large scale model of them because all they do is look at them. 0-60 in? ohh no don't want to put a mile on it to check.
Ahhh, this triggers me like crazy. Its like buying the Mona Lisa painting because its expensive and not because of the art.
Oliver Haugen day off today don’t want to drive to work and put miles on my car. Would loose more in depreciation than I would earn
J C my opinion is that you should drive a car in all weather. Its a car and a car is meant to be driven. You got a Prius or a 488, I dont care. Drive it
@@JC-pc1xz yea, this car was probably bought and specced this way to receive tdf/aperta/laf allocation, but they got to decide how the spec was.
Really cool video and amazing to listen to your Dad talk so candidly about his love of the cars that he’s bought. All credit to him form his success and for telling his stories. Loved that personal point of view, very kind of him to agree to share it.
Green is so underrated. Especially dark green, it works so well on pretty much any sports or supercar.
My father and grandfather were both very close to a Father Jaconelli. A priest from Cumbernauld. He’s long dead now but he was a huge Celtic fan and went to the games with my Dad and Grandad back in the 60s. Also being a fan of all things green, I’m sure he would have loved those 2 beautiful green Ferrari’s.
Enjoyed the interview with you and your Pops and his appreciation/love for Ferrari. The back stories where informative and cool to hear. I want a Ferrari even more now!
F12 looks more beautiful from rear
812 is also best but can't match f12
Great video indeed. I had the pleasure of experiencing the 812 Superfast at my local Ferrari dealer. It's a spectacular car.
F12 is a much better looking car.
Agree
I agree...F12 is a terrific looking car, I like the styling more than the 812 as well
Prefer the rear of F12 and the front of 812
..Montyzelio...? Luca de Montezemelo...but he’s done well!...but just 900 miles...just how few days did he feel good enough to drive it☹️
Enjoyed the interview and hearing your Pops talk about his appreciation and love for Ferrari. I want one ever more now!
Jeff, SF USA
Many thanks to your Dad for sharing two very VERY special vehicles.
If I had to pick one of them, I think the Superfast just pips it for me, but they are both superbly appointed vehicles. Your father has impeccable taste.👌
Thankyou,I thoroughly enjoyed this video.I too, love green and these two cars are amazing.Wow,Wow,Wow.
Just started watching your videos. Really like the how to spec ones. Great idea. Will you be making more?
Amazing story with your Dad.... thank you for sharing!
I do think, that I like the f12 the most. It looks like more unique, and the interior is just outstanding
Greetings from Metro Atlanta Georgia! Absolutely love the green color on those Ferraris!! 🇮🇹 Both specs are undeniably stunning! 👀 Congratulations on the new addition and cheers! 🍾🥂 Surely, whoever buys the F12 will be extremely happy!! 🏁
Looks incredible Paul, enjoy it!
Fantastic video - I love the green exteriors and it's great to see a non red Ferrari. I find the F12 and 812 are quite colour sensitive and look better in a non red anyway unless it's a very dark red. I'm not totally convinced about the F12 interior...but as you say it's not to everyones taste and it might a grower. Really enjoyed the interview.
I would love a white F12 with bronze wheels
One of the worst financial options to make is to high spec a non special edition car. Like the 812 and an f12. Unless they don't get driven like these do they lose their value and all that money was a waste. Having a high spec tdf or gto makes sense because those cars are a high value special edition.
Top specsz👌🏽 That spec on the F12 just reaffirms how better looking the F12 is than the 812. I’d have a 812 in that color with its interior spec but with the stripe similar to that on the F12 Just because it’s a newer and more gentle model between the 2.
I remember seeing both of these when I went to Roman's. Beautiful colours.
Fascinating thank you..love the colour..add the stripe..ahem 8k for the shield?
Love the F12 spec the 812 not so much but to each their own, enjoy it!
wooow those specs are iiiiinnnsane love the greencolours on the car
Great video. Amazing cars
I'm with Paul. I love the green. Spotted it on the website. Lovely to know the history. Very special. Sooo tempted.
Great video !
Both cars are amazing! Your dad sure has the best spec!
He speaks with such pride of his Dad, Respect !
Great colour we can see why you kept the F12 for so long, love the 812 in that colour also
Hi. Love to see a video of how your father got into cars and started this fantastic business
Nice video Tom! Keep up the good work
Beautiful cars. I wish they had miles on them. I love Ferrari but I'm disappointed when they don't get driven. Rich people trying to get richer. The F12 under 1,000 miles is a shame. I'll probably never own one but if if I do I'll drive the daylights out of it and not go broke. Not driving these master pieces is sad. Looking at them is nice. Driving them would be better. #FRI #Bougie I do appreciate the content and beautiful cars. I would have never seen them without this video so thank you for that. #DDE
Gorgeous Spec both of them. Enjoy the 812!!
I remember your dad from his time at HF Edwards, sold him a few TVs and hifi from the store around the corner hats now a restaurant
I don't know why but I really like painted Scuderia shields. If you have enough to buy Ferrari, you should get it. I believe it's not very common optional extra.
Not sure about F12 interior color choice but both cars have great specs overall.
You guys are Awesome. I want a f 12 bad.
I came to your shop yesterday and reved the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ
Wonderful color I enjoyed the interview
You should replace 812 P Zero with Sport Cup 2 ! Feel the difference!
I have both of them too.
Wow the spec on that f12, more impressive that the 812 spec tbh.
More is more in this case. N the green is very classy, well done.
The middle of the tires should match the gray head light, but over all the car is nice.
What is your opinion and would you recommend wrapping a F 50 would’ve destroyed the paint work after a prolonged time wrapped in a new colour? Thank you
PPF
Paint Protection Film
No need to wrap it
That is the sexiest F12 ever made. Only one thing I would want different.....
Steering wheel is on the wrong side. Haha
i really love this dark green color, so beautiful under sun shine
Nice Filling Pieces
Love the spec on the F12
I thought that F12 berlinetta was the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on, the design of the 812 didn't do much for me until I saw that spec... now I want an 812 GTS specced exactly like that:(
nice cars and your speacking is beautiful
They are a pair of absolute beauties.Thank you.
BTW, your father's accent sound a bit like Michael Caine's natural accent. Not being a British, I have some trouble identifying/labeling British accents. Here in Canada, we all sound like morons. Please help.
This is a fantastic dealer with fantastic cars!
Gotta say your old man got taste, serious tatse and money:))
Wow! Tbh I personally prefer that F12 over that 812
The f12 interior is amazing. The stripe kinda ruins it for me on the exterior. But still a nice spec. And the dad is soooo nice.
Now i was wondering if i should subscribe to this channel... but when i saw this vid with the Chairman and his cars...
What an Amazings Cars are thoses Ferrari's !! But to me , I would combined specs of this 2 cars and put it in a F12 TDF with some extra Novitec parts aded !!! And I think I should have THE Most Amazing Ferrari Ever
Both cars are gorgeous, especially the F12
I KID U NOT !! I AM HERE AFTER SEEING AN ADVT OF ROMANS ON another CZcams CHANNEL. . . . . WELL THERES A FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
Great video, but you have to ask why only 895 miles in 2 years, your fathers ownership(4+ years total) if its so good to drive and be in?(5/10 days per year driven!)
Sublime spec.
AWESOME motor i could'nt afford the gear knob
Beautiful cars but criminal they are not driven. Very sad to own a car like that and not drive it. ❤
Hands down the absolute best looking F F 12 I've ever seen. A true Green Hornet.
My car is a bit special and totally unique as well...... it's got rust on one of the doors, a dent in another, kerb marks all over the wheels, a scuff on the bumper, oh and it's green as well - pretty sure there's not another one like it either ;)
The gloss carbon on the F12 looks terrific but the matt carbon on the 812 not so good. Wonder how much the F12 sold for?
Hard to believe that F12 has covered less than 1000 miles. So when “dad” says “I hope the next owner enjoys it as much as I have”, the truth is he’s hardly driven it! Wild horses wouldn’t make me choose such an extreme spec, you need to like green. With that level of personalisation possible, just because you can doesn’t mean you should. I’ve just specified an F8 Spider - blu corsa over crema.
I agree but as it was said in the video at 11:17 , the car served as publicity for the atelier shop as well
Amuses me too that “Dad” thinks the signatures are great but can’t even say the former CEO’s name properly. Luca Cordero de Montezemolo. Pity he’s now associated with a discount railway service. Hey, this video is nothing more than a promotional video to shift the F12. My rule of thumb is that customisation is worth nothing at resale time and might even count against you.
In general the f12 is by far the better looking car ! Especially the rear! The 812 has something wrong but cant explain it to look at! The rear lights are wrong the rear single lights on the f12 are far better looking! Even the front lights aren't right on 812! And in 20 years time the f12 will be a classic but the 812 will be forgotten! Just my opinion!! 🚘
Now he has a matching gts to go with the collection..nice..
The matt carbon looks way cooler than the gloss, I also prefer the the 812 interior over the F12, not into the chocolate, I do think the stripe would of looked awesome tho
Was not expecting a white and brown interior on a green car
thats crazy i would keep the f12
That berlinetta is just drop dead gorgeous. I thought the rosso fiorano was the best color on a ferrari; I'm not sure anymore.
we are waitiiiing and i love this beautiful color
I’m green with envy 😜😂
I want that F12!
812 bargain compared to the TDF, you should of kept the Zonda F RHD you had many years ago, need a green porsche GT3 touring would be nice. NVN need to up there game, gaps in the lower splitter.
On the F12 - "Why Michelin Tyres on the front" and PZero's on the rear". Just why would you do that?
Ebay
They are Michelin front and rear. It is on their website with plenty of photos.
Emotional! What’s the milage on the F12? Does he track the cars, or just grand touring?
895miles so small touring at most
Perfect green & rare !
It is beautiful and the detail is amazing, but it seems all toy have to have to make a popular car channel is money to buy unique cars.
Give me Henry and Chris any day
I prefer the f12 spec imo, both are lovely tho ofc
The car is absolutely fantastic. However it is a shame it is not used and much more the video is concentrated in "how much that and these" instead of "how passionate and happy it makes me feel". It is more much nicer to see a car well used and enjoyed, otherwise is just a pretty thing. Money (as well of these cars) do nothing if you don´t do anything with it. Go out and drive please!
The mans got impeccably taste 👌🏻
U can never go wrong with green.
Who in the world would sell this F12? Its Unique.
Thanks for sharing your passion #makemefeelspecial
I loved them when I visited Romans
What do i do if i want to convert it to lhd?
Probably cheaper to re-locate ! ha ha ha
At the start you say your father started Romans over 25 years ago. Question - I am 62, and I remember going to Roamans (I think it was Guildford area but not 100%), to look at cars (super cars, Ferraris, Rolls, Astons etc),when I was about 11 years old 51 years ago. Is this the same Romans?
always great content, F12 is better spec
Classy spec, so much better than the standard vulgar red Ferrari colours, belisimo 😍
PS Think the F12 , is the better looking car tbh.
Who knew you could make that much selling Woody Pills?
Ferrari Rajanya mobil mewah dengan warna hijau nyaman banyak digemari mengaggumkan !
And now @Romansinternational ...swap w/ new *"12Cilindri"* ?!??
*GTB (coupé) or GTS (spyder)...???*
You should have no trouble selling the F12 at that price. In the US, yours wouldn't be that much more than average one, and yours is exceptional, a one of a kind, very desirable with lots of options, signed, with low miles, not to mention this video does a great job of marketing it. I'd be surprised if it isn't sold by the time I post this.
