Thank you Paul, just fitted the unit back in the car and all looking good. No flashing milage and the USB port now works. Can't believe how fast you fixed this👍👍
Great news. Glad to have helped.
I had Paul fix my Blue and Me last week, fault fixed the same day and back to me the following day. Repaired unit works perfectly and no need for the proxy alignment either. Great service. Thanks.
Hi Paul. Nice to know you have another String to your Bow. As I have said before. I don't own a 500. But some neighbours do. Just waiting to point them in the direction of your channel. Should they need help. Cheers. 👍👍
Sounds like a good service you’re offering 🤙
Nice one paul, I just sent to an email and we will take it from there.
Thanks
great video paul i would say you will get load of work coming in well done paul👏👏
Nice one Paul 👍
Excellent
Most people would assume that the Blue&Me would be on a switched live, so should not discharge the battery when engine or ACC mode is off.
It's on an electronically operated switched live from the BCM, not a physical one. Who knows why. Bit like the DRLs don't have a fuse.
Was waiting for picture 📸 of the label you said about lol 😂
I did show it, but later in the video on the unit itself
Need to get to mine. Was thinking about cutting a slit in the trim panel under the seatbelt bolt rather than taking the bolt out 🤔
Yeah, some people do that. Saves the grief.
Hi Paul can you fix blue and me on fiat Punto 2014 plate? I have flashing odometer and blue and me not working
Certainly can. I think you've already emailed me haven't you.
Free sweets 🍫🍫 , can't lose!
Hi Paul.
I have a Ford KA 2013 plate. Suddenly the USB port has stopped working, mileage flashing, phone wont connect (Infact the media settings don’t even show now!), two buttons on steering wheel stopped working (voice control and phone call) and the temperature dial and blower back light is no longer on.
Do you think this is the blu and me?
Everything but the temperature dial bulbs yes. They are just the bulbs blown and are a coincidence. If you want it repaired, drop me an email paul@love500.co.uk and I’ll send you the repair form.
Hi, my Blue & me failed end of last year and after it was fixed my pandora alarm and immobiliser was broken and still is but lucky enough it’s under warranty still. So could a faulty Blue & me somehow effect an after market alarm? Thanks
No, they’re not connected in any way.
@@Love500 must have been just bad luck then they failed same time. Thanks for the reply 👍🏻
Hi how long does the repair last, thanks
Indefinitely. I guarantee to refix for free should it go again. I’ve not had one returned yet.
Hi Paul, I have a 2009 Abarth. Flashing mileage. No fuel gauge and fuel light flashing and external temp not working. Press the windows button on the steering wheel and blue and me says no message. Can you help? Andy.
The fuel gauge wouldn’t be anything to do with it. A proxy alignment is always worth a try first but in most cases it’ll be broken.
@@Love500 what will be broken?
@@andymundy the blue and me most likely.
@@Love500 oh ok. Could you help with proxi alignment. Happy to pay for your time.
@@andymundy yes. Email me
Hi Paul - If I take it out and send to you - will we still be able to drive the car ?
Yes, doesn't affect anything in the car except the bluetooth
@@Love500 You mentioned in your video that you can disconnect without taking out all the panels etc - Do I take out the seat belt bolt at the rear and get at it that way? I want to disconnect first to see if the battery drain stops - thanks in advance
@@Fogtube1 you can remove the panel without taking out that bolt by cutting a slit on the plastic. That will stop the chances of that bolt shearing. Assuming it’s that causing the battery drain then disconnecting it at the module will stop the battery drain.
Found the unit, on my 2013 UK Fiat bravo, behind the dash, passenger side, inside the glovebox. Removed two screws and out it came. Found this helpful Italian video czcams.com/video/F3CvNza3wVA/video.htmlsi=PbQaPpsPc3E1LvwU Thank you Paul for this video. Found you via the very helpful Fiat forum. Hoping you can fix mine too.
Paul you should give up your day job and do Fiats full time..👍🏻
