1978 F-100 SuperDuty Chassis Swap Pt.1

This project is not going to be a full restoration done by me. My task at hand is to just swap chassis and do any other major fabrication, while the owner will take care of the rest.

What year frame did you use looking on doing a similar swap for my 79 single cab long bed

Looks like a leaf spring front end. So pre 2005. Looks like a 7.3 powerstroke.

I would assume that have to cut only 4” out of the frame, you had started with a regular cab long box 2004 frame?
