  • This project is not going to be a full restoration done by me. My task at hand is to just swap chassis and do any other major fabrication, while the owner will take care of the rest.

It’s nice to see someone who actually takes the time and explains what they are doing instead of speeding it up, 10/10

I know it took a lot of trial and error to learn the knowledge you're sharing.. I am doing my first cab swap on my superduty here soon and love seeing how you do things to make things line up and look perfect. Keep it up man, we all appreciate the details!

What year frame did you use looking on doing a similar swap for my 79 single cab long bed

Your camera work hurts... Try not to swing it around so quickly and so often.

My son and I are just starting a body swap of a 79 f150 short box 4x4 onto a 2006 F350 (dually) frame with a 6L diesel 4x4. Have you got any suggestions to help us along with our first build?

Looks like a leaf spring front end. So pre 2005. Looks like a 7.3 powerstroke.

It’s ready to be posted, I just didn’t like it. And the truck is back to its owner so I couldn’t re-film anything

Thank you so much! You are very clear in explaining. You make it look really easy. Super cool man! What's a project like this cost?

What did you do with the old frame?

Seems like a lot of work. Was this easier than adapting the 7.3 and the coil front suspension to the dent side chassis???

  • @wadeadoll

I would assume that have to cut only 4” out of the frame, you had started with a regular cab long box 2004 frame?

What size 7.3 frame did you start with extended cab single cab or four door
