- Hey All, In this video we start on our 1979 Ford B100 that was imported from Mexico. We got a 2020 F250 Super Duty 4x4 6.7L Turbo Diesel chassis that we will be swapping the body onto with the help of the guys at @PapisGarage
We started the process. Pulled out the factory frame, Got the super duty frame shortened to the wheelbase we wanted. This is the first of many videos on this build.

Damn they made that frame shortening look easy!!! I’m digging this build a ton!!!
magic of video editing, it was not that easy in real life
@@FordEra I’m sure not but very cool easy or not!!! Keep up the awesome content!!!
I'm digging it 3/4 ton lol
I had never heard of a b100... I am in love with it now..
I CANT EXPRESS HOW EXCITING THIS BUILD IS TO ME! I LOVE SEEING THESE TYPES OF BUILDS!
Mexico has the best clean classic cars. I did the same thing 😎
Come Out And Play (You Gotta Keep Em Seperated) by the Off Spring should be playing in the background...
Looking forward to this build! La Chupacabra !
Should add another crewcab door on the driverside.
Most definitely!
F. Wagon ! F. for Ford baby!! This truck ……. The guys doing the work and so clean … Damn dude it’s hard to say , I’m envious 😎👍
Watching! A build i have wanted to do since the 2020 version came out. Frame swap a truck with 6,7
I hope you guys can keep the momentum on this build. Looks super interesting.
Solomon doesn't mess around he gets it DONE !!!! along with the talented craftsmanship he and his people he deals with
Oh man that is going to be an absolute killer truck!!! SO looking forward to more on this build !!
It's nice to see people who do solid work. 95% of shops out there are hacks, but they did that really simply and cleanly. Nice. It should be sick when it's done! It'll definitely look way better with the body mods you're doing.
thank you
It’s going to be great, love the stretched wheelbase.
Cool swap, looking forward to the rest of the build
Frankenstein would be a descriptive name for a vehicle that will be absolutely unique and one of a kind.
Sure would be
Big Papi
That is such a one off body style. This is going to be a unique build.
Really looking forward to this build, guys. Nice work!
Us too!
Super B!
"Camel Hack" I like its like an old team Camel Overland color.
True
So sick man love it! Can't wait to see more!
You kept the kiss!!! JAJAJAAA
Oooh 😲, it’s gonna be nice! 👍🏼
“ladrillo de oro”
The "B'Kool 250"
excellent video .. explaining and showing each process throughout the build makes interesting viewing.
why not simply call it ‘B250’
Glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome build I can't wait to see more videos of this soon
Sick project! Very inspiring, I want to try something similar.
Thank you
gonna be epic!
Gonna be perfect
Love this build!
Hell Yeah this is going to be one killer ride when done!!!
That’s gonna be a wild ride. How bout B-strokin’. I gotta get me one to haul my falcon around.
Awesome build! I would name it after something that isn't what you think it is. The words "illusion" or "hallucination" would be a cool name for it.
You guys are doing an awesome job!
Thanks so much!
Not sure why but it reminds me of the dog from Smokey and the Bandit Fred
Amazing work! I need an obs four-door with a 6.0 powerstroke.
That would be cool!
King bronco
Bad ass potential
Very excited to see this come together! I love how you are changing the rear wheel well. I plan on manipulating my wheel wells for the right look and tire fitment as well. I’m very jealous of y’all’s progress, but should be back to work on my 6.7 bumpside in the next few months.
Very nice. Can't wait to see more.
To bad the top isn't removable
I had a 89 Metropolitan 4-door Bronco & the top had AC bolted to the top but the top was still removable
Can't wait to see this Finished 🇺🇸
It's very nice how you're doing that and that frame looks like it went together easy-peasy Very impressed on how things can get done and that vehicle will look awesome when it's finished And there's another talented group of people that you're working with Keep up the good work Solomon
Thank you! Cheers!
making a B250...thats gonna be cool AF
You got to love a plasma cutter they make life so much easier by the way nice weld job
Yes they do
On mine I did a 2016 f250 frame with a 78 scout traveller body , I moved the leaf springs forward on the frame about 3 ft and cut 4.5 feet off the back that way I didn't have to cut the frame in half was alot less fab work
¡Oralé! Abuelo's Oldie looks almost nervous cause it be getting 1000lbft of torque
How sweet it is !
This is going to be one awesome build .how about naming it El guapo which means good looking in Spanish
Great videos Solomon, definitely cool when you get it done. Looking forward to how you section it and add in the full crew cab door and deal with the space behind the door before the wheel well. I'll definitely be watching all the videos great job.
thank you
@@FordEra absolutely my friend, I always smash that like button try to respond and buy merch... I think you have awesome content and definitely want to support you
This body style should have been released in the US Market
Ford dropped the ball on this one
Holy💩 CZcams, why aren't over a million scribers finding and following, incredible builts like FordEra is doing! Brian Scotto only wishes he had Solomon working for him working for him. ✌
Couldn't agree more! haha
Gold dust 2
im doing a frame swap at work but we gotta transfer everything all the wiring and lines and engine/transmission to the new frame
Solomon @FordEra we need an update on this B100 chassis swap! I know there's a lot going on but I'm dying to know what's going on with this project
coming very soon
About the only swap on the net I am waiting more for is the SuperCharged 7.3 Gas in my '66 N CrewCab Dump Truck. Been searching since 2020 6.7 came out for a donor but none have showed up near me.
I can get you one
The B100 has always had whacky proportions to me and after watching this video, I now know why. Good call moving the wheelbase, changing the quarters, and changing the wheel arch. Can’t wait to see how it turns out
This is going to be a great build! (Can you buy 73-79 crew cab rear doors new?)
no you cannot but i sourced a set
Call it the 79 F-250 with a 6.7 Powerstoke easy as that
Super Duty B
Awesome build. When will there be an update? Been patiently waiting
Are we going to get an update on this?
Did I miss an update?
Loving the b100!
This is a different b100
“El Chapo”
Ive a 78 4 door short bed , id love to put 4x4 under it
Gonna go blind cutting with a plasma with clear glasses 👨🦯
I have a 93 Ford E150 Club Wagon Van 5.8L. The body is in really good shape. Would you happen to know what pick up truck I can get used, cheap, that I can have the body of my van,put on the trucks chassis without MAJOR issues.?
OJ plus family lol
I'm curious to learn the real reason why Ford never released the B-100 in the USA. I've heard it was due to some sort of agreement with General Motors in which GM could continue producing the GMC and Chevrolet Suburban and Ford could produce the two-way tailgate feature on station wagon cars... Is this true?
That is what i heard too
What is the wheelbase of the B100? Is it 117 or 133?
Where are this guys located,or contact
Located in Miami FL. Email me SL@Fordera.com for more info
Would you sell the rolling chassis just wondering
the one we pulled out? we stripped the good parts and scraped the rest
This is going to be one hell of a build is this still your truck or did you sell it to him
its not my truck, my buddy Rob got it from me but im building it for him
@@FordEra oh okay I remember seeing it in another video don't remember thank you
Awesome build! Who’s b100 is this? Yours?
It was mine but its now my buddy Robs and im building it for him
Is the old frame just a single cab long bed frame form that era
How do you register a body swaped truck please?
In Florida it goes by the vin on the body
Where is rest of this build
Where did you get the chassis from how much did it cost I wanna do a new f150 chassis on my 91 but not sure how to go about getting one
sourced it locally from a dismantler and the price was hefty
Swapping frames, does it involves paperwork?
it sure does
Where did yall buy the f250 chassis from?
Does this ever get finished?
still being worked on
I would not modify the body of that rare vehicle!
why not, thats what hot rodding is all about
@@FordEra hot rodding is taking the mundane and making something special what you are wanting to do is like painting eyebrows on the Mona Lisa
@@jamestyndall529 I guess we need to see how eyebrows look on the monalisa before saying it wont look good
@@FordEra it does not matter if it would look good you are chopping up a one-off antique
@@jamestyndall529 Its not a 1 off, I currently own 2 others that are identical.
I take it there is new paint involved in this build?
its getting a new paint job for sure
How about the Triple B.... building better B- model....plus it has 3 doors
but it might have 4 doors 😉
@@FordEra bahahaha oops my bad
@@FordEra but Triple B still doesn't sound too bad what color are you going to paint it
@@toxicbear4792 not sure on the colors yet
@@FordEra what are you guys going to do for interior
Was that Amish camera dude was talking about 40” tires or his 40” ears ?
I'm not a fan of chopping up this very rare truck. Hopefully they are not as scares as I think. Never seen one.
Its all part of hot rodding. this truck in factory form would barely get used. the way its getting built it will be a daily driver. it is rare only about 30 in the US but thats what makes it even better
Name it "Frankinford".
you could have just saved a lot of time and just took a crew cab and just add a bronco rear-end
Im no expert but I would have thought that when welding the frame rails together maybe stick would have been better? Seriously I’m just wondering, not trying to be a dick
Stick welding is actually a very weak and brittle weld. which is not very good for automotive use. Mig is the common
@@FordEra again I’m not trying to be a dick. I’m just wondering why do they use stick for structural steel and like pipe lines and stuff why don’t they make all that if stick isn’t strong.
Lol I feel like the correct answer was “mig is great for automotive sheet metal work.” Or “bro all we had was a mig, we cranked that fucker up, its just a truck for CZcams” woulda been even better if it was like a harbor freight flux core 🤣. Sick truck though! I found your video looking up frame extensions befor me I start a 6 door super duty
Name it gold digger
Sasquatch
You ruined it
thanks for watching
Deisel. Bleh. Now it’s a glorified school bus. Ehh, they can’t all be winners I reckon and it’s still better than anything I have.
