Always avoid engaging two hero at same time and if not then try separating them so you can focus on 1 person at a time. Great advice right there Sammy đ

What this video is not considering is shooters are often protected and being patient is what gets you killed. You have to aggressively play against shooters at time. You have to predict their dodge direction and make sure your positioning is flawless against melee protectors if not you must retreat to a defensive position with cover and try again.

I think people who play as saber heroes too often forget about the other abilities that blaster heroes have. I canât even count the number of times Iâve taken someone out with Idenâs alt fire because they think they can just block. A huge advantage of honing your skills as a blaster hero is learning how to beat them, so whenever I see an Iden playerâs weapon start to glow I try to dodge and get air distance. Great video, as always.
Iden is op and takes no skill. Breaking lightsaber heroes blocks with alt fire like serously. What makes Iden so mich better character compared to ones with lightsaber abilities.
Wtf are they supposed to do?
Idiot Iden can alt fire spam if they block, you don't even have to hit them directly just target the ground or predict their dodge & they losing health, shock their block to knock it away if they keep blocking or if they attack get shocked & take massive damage, the saber user has no chance but go all out with powers & attacks or run away & get zapped from behind & lose health. You have to rush her down & try to flank her.
Jumping doesn't mean shit as by the time the droid reaches you to shock you youre probably on the ground or she can shoot you while you're 100% vulnerable & can still use her droid in the air or knocked down so vs her its not much you can do without losing quite a bit of health. Cant blame someone that just blocks as they probably be killed by jumping or dodging before by an Iden.

Christopher Johnston Iden is the most op in the game. Itâs the fact. Anakin is broken one now. Retribution ot heroic mihght doesnt even work time to time when 3-4 lightsaber enemies are hitting you and you jsut tey to activate it. And now it isnât meant to be played like that but even if i try to dash and run a little further eay to safer distance it might just bug the shit out or open iden from the ditance just spams the alt fire
Christopher Johnston and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Everytime I dash away from iden alt fire shit I still die. Hit box is enormous as fuck and doesnât make any sense as she is just some special force piece of shit. Not a super hero.

Maybe its only me but the developer designed blasters to be OP. Han can kill and do damage to a saber with his shoulder. Phasma has the freaking droid that electrocutes if you are too close. Boba can just fly around and shoot. A saber's stamina drains from blocking why?
Saber Heroes draining stamina from swinging and block is fine even now but the fact there's no way to counter something unblockable like a rocket or grenade as a Jedi or Sith is stupid and makes they matchups between Saber heroes vs Blaster heroes very one sided in favor of the blaster heroes

The worst thing that can happen to any saber hero is iden or phasma shocking you and headshotting.
As Darth Vader, I 2000% recommend knowing how far your force choke works. Thatâs a key tool used when dealing with blasters
Iden can straight up melt heroes. Finished first on the scoreboard with 20 elims yesterday in heroes/villains. The alt fire and stun droid combined can make life a nightmare for anyone
I always do everything you mentioned and I almost always win a 1v1 or 1v2 as a lightsaber vs blaster. On the flipside, I always win as a blaster against swing spammers (basically every Anakin player). Also against the people with explosives or alt fires, jump a lot. It will make them roll and confuse them, leaving them open. Also dash through them.

4:19 You say they can ignore the patience tactic by dealing damage through block, yet you forgot to mention the most important part. The fact that Chewy, Iden and Lando completely ignores all of that by spamming Stun so they instantly win and you can't do anything, sorry, you lose. Seriously, Dice went out and said they'd nerf stuns, but they didn't even do a single thing to change the fact that they're still broken and overpowered. Lando's stun is the most overpowered really, it use to be 1.4 seconds of complete death plus the stupid Star Card increasing that further. But now it's only 1.0 seconds plus the Star Card still, like wow, such an amazing change, they really changed Lando a TON.
Please do make a blasters vs blasters. I love your vids đ

Greetings from Nebraska! I watched your video-I've been studying this game and covering it since release (I'm kind of tired of being an irrelevant channel lol.), and also look closely at the things you covered. I wanted to add some thoughts:
I hope you'll forgive my contrary approach, but a couple things you said seemed off. First, you mentioned that to beat blaster users, simply wait for them to run out of rolls. I personally spread them out, so I always have one. The same technique is used with Yoda, Maul and Luke's dash attacks. Instead of viewing it as 'I only have 2 or 3', spread them out. People leave that opening after the first roll to squeeze in a few shots before having to roll again, but eventually the roll runs out and the lightsaber is free to go Ham. All I mean to say is that advanced players know fully well not to expire their rolls right away. Used correctly, you'll never run out and still stay ahead of the damage curve.
Also-you put up pictures of some characters that can or can't deal damage through blocking and I fear you (everyone has) failed to either know of or mention the hidden nuances of this game....Anyone can still shoot and hit someone who is blocking, you simply aim at them and not their saber. A lot of the time you'll land a critical hit, causing them to dodge/jump/attack/flinch and open themselves for defeat.
Also-there is crush damage with lightsaber users, and NO ONE talks about it! Even if you block, some characters still damage others, and there is a specific algorithm for each character vs. each for who's damage output can circumvent their opposing defense.
I don't cover these things in a specific video (I should. I concentrate on funny montages, and again, it's disturbing how little traffic they get considering), but I talk about these things off and on while streaming. I hope you'll explore these ideas and cover them yourself, as I find my videos simply don't get traffic, but I have good ideas.

BucketOfBupkis they add this new system of stamina and this bar is smaller than my dogs you know what and stamina now is a luxury not a tool I guess both what I mean is that at least it should be like blasters or have a faint circle at least blasters you can see it and itâs noticeable for pc players it would be easy because they are 1.5 feet from the monitor and itâs just so small and barely noticeable for the light saber heroes I guess if you practice with them enough but I mean a lot you can memorize the swings,and the exact time they have full stamina you wouldnât need to see down there at least the option to have the circle would be nice

Darth Vader tbf itâs a bit annoying to have to look down at the bar instead of being able to see the stamina circle while looking straight ahead. Also the circle looks nice

This is what irritates me. The blaster heroes shouldn't really stand much of a chance against Jedi and Sith unless they are super elite players.

I donât know if this important but I am level 84 as Vader when I got in the game after the update I had 83 and I didnât understand I appreciate it and hopefully they donât take it out but is it like 40 and 45 for other people right or is it for everyone
I just got trashed by a team of blasters . Chewie stun , han throwing bomb , then melted by Leia while fin just giving them a boost .
No respect to blaster heroâs. EA made them have to much health in reality one light saber swing should kill them instead of 6.
Not to mention block is useless due to explosive and area of effect damage.
No blaster heroes have high health isn't the problem it's they're abilities and saber heroes not have any meaning full mechanics to counter it. What's that? You like playing as Count Dooku? Too bad there's a Han Solo draining your health with his bomb and shoulder charge, deflecting shots don't go where you reticle is actually aiming, and all his abilities are back already get killed and chose Vader or your own blaster hero to stand a chance. Boba Fett destroying your team and you wanna play Yoda? Screw you Jedi lover pick Anakin just to deal some damage because Boba's the only hero that can recover from a knock down (only in midair but still no else not even a force wielder at the cost of stamina or something?).
Like one blaster bolt isnât killing a saver userđ, oh what they can deflect bolts, yeah not explosives, or in reality guys like boba fett have lightsaber resistant armor parts and has an overpowered missile on his back pack, bossk is realistic as his race have a fantastic healing factor, plasma is literally immune to lightsabers with her armor

Use cover, get close, block, swing once, they'll roll, dash when they roll, they'll roll again, dash with them, then murder. Once you get in range use your abilities to know them down or hurt them either close the distance or block. Be patient, take your time but at the same time don't let them get their abilities and health back. Don't spam swing.
To be honest the only 3 players who can hang with anakin are phasma, dooku and iden. Iden is trickier because she requires you have distance first. Dooku is all about using your dashes and blocks. You've got to be like a viper with him. Once you attack you go full bore. Phasma you just shoot him from a distance and lure him to the droid and stay on the opposite side of it, that way when he pulls you you'll still be in the droids range. Anakin players typically are arrogant and don't think about it but if it's an HvV game with my clan, Phasma has to be used in order to win constantly.

im very good with Iden. when i 1v1 heroes, they play patiently and that is wat that kills them. i can use my alternating fire mod to deal massive damage plus i use my stun. but once obi wan uses his mind trick, its over and anakin's ability spam

What I like to do is rush at them without my block up and then tap the block button, so my saber moves and they think Iâm gonna swing but eh just end up wasting a roll

I think iden needs a nerf a bit just with that secondary fire Star Wars 1 balanced it well

I donât play hero showdown because I hate when a random and I are put against 2 guys using a mic. So I play heroes vs villains and I can say this strategy doesnât always work because YOU CANNOT BE PATIENT and wait for them to do their rolls. As soon as you close the distance you have to kill them because if you wait the next thing you know their team mate is hitting you from behind or cutting you down while your âwaitingâ and being âpatientâ
Every time lightsaber users are low on health, they think I wonât run towards them to melee, especially with Boba.
All I question is what to do when it comes to General Grievous' awful blaster block. How should you take them out as him with that block? Is it the same like this video or is it different? Also, I loved the video, great tips.
Close the ground with claw rush, but realistically you should get your teammate to take care of the blaster hero
Normally I just jump. Grievous' fall is really fast, so it's hard to hit him.
Han Solo is a big problem especially for me grievous, a big robotic dude that canât block shots well. His HIGH DAMAGE OUTPUT is insane, he can take out characters such as Kylo, Vader, Grievous, Dooku in a 1v1, heâs just really good, The Pressure is always constant and when he is played with someone that is consistent with headshots he is just too OP.
General Grievous Use your Unrelenting Advance on Han to get up close as it can block instead of your regular block. Thrust Surge is great for closing distance even though you are vulnerable. Claw Rush is almost a guaranteed hit and knockdown, and bonus damage if you exit it next to Han.
They bait me into approaching, go right through my block then shoot my corpse to piss me off. It works.

Okay, tell me how can you beat Iden stun, Captain Champer, and Mosquito Fett? Especially without Anakin
Iden and Phasma's stuns have to be force jumped through in order to avoid the stun bit but for Boba... There's really no choice you have play as Anakin even more so with someone like Bossk.
He keeps talking about rolling but that doesent matter when they're super confident and have an E-11 rapid fire against your already half wasted stamina.

I once did a 1v1 with my brother on Naboo as dark side and got about 5 - 7 kills by throwing him off the edge as vader
They will get scared and use up their dodges so Iâm between dodges and when they run out attack them and try to deflect blaster bolts.
No use when deflecting blaster shot even at close range the blots don't go where you ain your reticle

blasters players just like mosqutio, you can easly crush them but you dont want to waste time for chase them. it easy to kill them on 1v1 the problem is they keep shooting while you fighting with saber against saber heroes. they camping and free shooting. Shooting from a distance at two people fighting each other requires no skill also not fun. they have nothing to do with spoiling the fun in hvsv mode. this mod would be better with only lightsaber.
What about if Iâm obi wan against boba Fett and he just keeps flying away in naboo hangar?

Equip the quick force push star card for obi since you'll take reduced damage and swat him out of the sky DON'T mind trick him if he's falling to the ground if you do it might say 'mind controlled' over Boba's head but he can still use his abilities

@@mosasa1307 the recharge time on the roll feels much slower, making it much harder to counter sabers heroes, most times you'll get hit once or twice in between your rolls because of it

You're playing 2v2's try playing the 4v4 and see how well you do with a blaster character. Everyone just uses the saber characters and if 2 of them get on top of you youre dead.
Ye best strat is to let it team go in first then just shoot while their attacking them
