I love acting as a frontline medic with the Officer, moving with the largest crowd in the match. I use the battlepoint build but that's just out of habit bc I rarely use my battlepoints. One thing I love doing with the Officer is when my team is stuck at a choke-point, I buff as many allies as possible and just charge head first towards the enemies; if my buffed allies follow me then it's a great way to break up choke-points on maps like Kamino, DS2, Naboo and Takodana.
It’s amazing that even after all this time and so many balancing changes they still haven’t fixed the officer’s free battle point gain. Seriously seeing 15 officers on a 20-person team is more immersion-breaking than any cross-era hero or cross-phase Clone Trooper.
Immersion isn't the goal of the game, sorry if it is for you but most people play what they want to play and if that's a bunch of officers then ur gonna see a bunch of officers.
I wish the default blasters could be upgradable and even interchangeable among factions. I feel like the DC-17 without upgrades is only average and could definitely hold it's own if there were upgrades. It would also give people more incentive to fall back to the default blasters.

For the bp loadout, I would recommend replacing Improved Battle Command with Recharge Command, because it also speeds up the recharge of your abilities after it's used, meaning more buffs for more bp
A neat trick that the game doesn't tell you is that passive star cards still apply when you enter a vehicle depending on the last class you played before you choose the vehicle. The reason this matters to the officer is because of the officer's presence star card. On top of being a good star card by itself because it passsively heals your team, but you can use it while in a tank to be a mobile cover that heals people hiding behind it, or a speeder to get around the battlefield quick to support the team wherever you're needed
You can also use the recharge command with the battle point build. The recharge command has a faster recharge time which means you’re going to use it more often and get points more often but you sacrifice the survivability of the improved battle command
Hated the S-5 for awhile. Then I got the improved zoom mod. I am usually the Specialist class but with the S-5 my Officer class is one of my favorites. Took it on GA Geo and used it for the first phase. Once we got the walker moving I did my best to get killed but couldn’t. I was sniping everyone dead with the S-5. I ended the match as the Officer with no deaths. Now I use it on Geo to snipe all the way across the map. Even beating Specialist. The S-5 hated it but now it is a beautiful blaster to me.
IIRC All Commands gives 25 pts per person affected, so it is actually more effective to run Recharge Command as it affects all of your abilities including itself. As such, it is available more often
I avoided playing the officer very long but recently fell in love with it. I use exactly the weapon you recommend with the improved cooling and rapid fire. For star cards I go with the turret, early healing for myself and either extra health points or the longer fire rate, depending if I play more aggressive or want to heal.
Got the game 4 days ago, already have assault class at 35 and officer at 41. Absolutely addicting. Your videos have helped me a ton when I was getting adjusted to the multiplayer and my go-to for officer has been the support build which you described in your video! I'd say the recharge command is best for battle points because when you activate it, it reduces the cool down of itself which allows you to use it more frequently.
My favourite class. I use the card that speeds up my health regen, the card that speeds up ally health regen, and the battle command that buffs me as well.... then just hang out in firefights with a turret up, feeding HP.
Another great breakdown video SammyBoii. My most common Officer configuration is a team/objective based loadout - SE-44C, Recharge BattleCommand, Resourceful and Diffuser (defuses grenades including Bosk's grenades, and Heavy's barrage, along with Specialists' trip mines). The Resourceful card means that I can run Diffuser nearly non-stop. The defuser card also gets you bonus battlepoints each time something is negated. Recharge Battlecommand is a huge force multiplier as it works on everyone's abilities meaning they can use them more often. I like the S5 hand-cannon, but the SE-44C is a little more forgiving for misplaced shots. Similarly the Disruptor card is great, but I've yet to nail the timing on that one.

For me I love using officer and my setup is: Bluurg with improved burst and explosive shot. Officers Presence Improved Battle Command Squad Shield I always manage to do pretty well with this setup and with a better player I feel like this setup could get them right to the top of the leaderboard.
I've started to use the Homing shot for the Officer. I decided to try it out, as you hardly see anyone using it...mostly because it sucks at hitting targets. However, with Droidekas being incredibly slow when not rolling around, I figured the Homing Shot would be great against them as it actually deals pretty thick damage. After several games with my clone officer boi, I rate the Homing shot 5/10. Great against Droidekas as long as their shield isn't in the way, which half of the time it will be during a fight; But absolutely terrible at hitting those regular, skinny clankers. A lot of wasted potential. It bugs out sometimes and its tracking sucks...perhaps a small fix and tweak would be nice, but that probably isn't one of Dice's concerns right now.
The problem is that if the target goes into cover it just explodes against cover. It's the same problem with the turret. It locks onto something but they move into cover and it stays locked. It should just lock on vectors and not onto individuals. Also it's lock on should be half a second and not two seconds. Nerf it's damage, buff it's health and decrease target lock and make it vector based.
Great video, I completely agree with what you said, though for personal preference I prefer the recharge command for going for heroes as I love using the flash grenade as a radar type ability 👍

Exited for the Specialist guide. My set up is scramble infiltration, bounty hunter, and improved shock grenade. Scramble infiltration is one of the best cards for getting kills (scrambled radar), and for playing the objective.
scramble works especially well for squad play, since it also gives your teammates that mini-map support not that most of them are gonna be looking at it
Don't underestimate the base gun for the officer. I'm a veteran who has played since early access. I have maxed out most of the game. I have all the upgrades and abilities and whatnot but that base gun is just so good. Oddly I find it different with each faction even though it's just reskinned. When you play as the clones try out using the dc17 because for some reason that gun is just amazing and you can get so many kills with it. I've played with every gun in the game but the dc17 is just my favourite gun and just works the best.
I use “the tank build” except i use Bounty hunter instead of the shield/defuser. I didn’t base it on yours, I just recognized yours as being similar to mine
the officer with the shield is OP when it comes to protecting objectives from being destroyed. saved and also changed the game for the team a lot of times.
I just maxed out the heavy and assault class so now I’m moving onto officers. Because of the lack of variety in weapons I honestly started using the default blasters but for whatever reason I do really good with them. Especially for the imperial and rebel classes I think those blasters are pretty balanced overall. I still need to use them in modes like GA and CS but for smaller modes like extraction I tend to just run disrupter, shield squad and improved buff charge because it allows me to push the objective with my team in a very aggressive manner while also locking down the area by negating explosive spam.
Here’s what I use for my Officer loadout Blaster: SE-44C with improved cooling and rapid fire Cards: Bounty Hunter Improved Battle Command Improved Flash Grenade The officer class is my favorite class. I can literally get 6k Battlepoints before dying for the first time in the match.
Just my opinion but I think that the Bounty Hunter Battlepoint Card should be built into the Classes themselves much like how the Health-On-Kill Hero Card is going to be, It will allow for more creative Star Card choices rather than the generic Ones almost 90% of players use. I fall more into a battlepoint earning Officer loadout because Infantry Combat can get stale pretty quick, and Heroes and vehicles help spice things up, My personal favorite Blaster for the Officer is the S-5 with Ion Shot because it can dominate Over Enemy Fighters, And pack a punch against vehicles like the AAT, AT-ST, TX-130, even the weakest of the bunch the AT-RT as well. And it is also useful for damaging Speeders, turrets and main objectives. Next to the Specialists ion sniper mode the officers is the hardest hitting of the bunch.
new to the channel after getting the game last week, massively helpful video that changed the way I play by making me run with different cards. Was drawn to the officer right away after always being a pistol guy in the first battlefront, I think I'm the only guy not to be the biggest fan of the SE, the autofire I find makes me lazier as I just spray and pray but with the blurg or S5 I'm more thoughtful of my shots.
I like to use Resourceful and Recharge Command to let my teammates spam abilities as much as possible. Turn a group of Heavies into a non-stop Sentry firing squad
How i usually play the officer is to establish a beachhead when playing offense ill run to the closest cp to capture use the cluster flash grenade to blind all the enemies run up and shoot the ones i can then ill plant a shield and use blast command for my allies and myself to push them back after that i try to flash the big crouds for my heavies keep the shield up and take the stragglers that get too close to the cp
Recharge Command is great for chokepoints where your team are all bunched together. If you pay attention to when teammates use abilities you can give your team a huge advantage. I’ve had the most success on the second phase of Theed.
For the support build, I suggest 2 different loadouts, for Offense and Defense For offense, use Officer’s presence, Improved battle command, and disruption. This allows your teammates to get back in the fight faster, take more damage, and being able to disrupt the enemy. Defense: Defuser, Recharge command, and Improved turret. This helps lock down hallways and objectives really easily
I do the bounty hunter, the health one, and the one that gives the people around you a shorter health regen. You just get points for standing next to someome. Plus obviously the last gun with obvious mods.
@@dblxde by mod I mean the weapon modification btw - it comes with an achievement. Look at the s5 weapon and there r 3 boxes underneath it... If you have access to it then it'll be unlocked, or it'll say its unlockable in achievements

Here's a protip for scumming battlepoints. after using Battlefield command at the start of a round, if no one uses Recharge Command, just respawn as respawn timer is shorter than cooldown of an ability. :) On some maps, like kamino ga, you'll get to use it on big crowd again before team reaches first objective.

The Dc 17 is actually my favorite officer weapon that I used till I got to officer lv 74 then I started using the Se 44. Get mad kills with DC 17

I got the explosive rounds for the Blurrg, should I use the reduced recoil or the 4 round burst with it?
4 round burst you won't need reduced recoil coz you'll kill them faster the explosive rounds

I'd argue Hardened Infiltration is better, as it grants you damage resistance and has a much shorter cooldown
after watching this is grinded my officer from lvl 13 to 50. yeh officer is pretty good.

Don't underestimate the base gun for the officer. I'm a veteran who has played since early access. I have maxed out most of the game. I have all the upgrades and abilities and whatnot but that base gun is just so good. Oddly I find it different with each faction even though it's just reskinned. When you play as the clones try out using the dc17 because for some reason that gun is just amazing and you can get so many kills with it. I've played with every gun in the game but the dc17 is just my favourite gun and just works the best.
starwrs34 I’ve stuck with the droid officers base gun since beta, to me that one seems to be best out of all of them for some reason
I use “the tank build” except i use Bounty hunter instead of the shield/defuser. I didn’t base it on yours, I just recognized yours as being similar to mine

the officer with the shield is OP when it comes to protecting objectives from being destroyed. saved and also changed the game for the team a lot of times.

I just maxed out the heavy and assault class so now I’m moving onto officers. Because of the lack of variety in weapons I honestly started using the default blasters but for whatever reason I do really good with them. Especially for the imperial and rebel classes I think those blasters are pretty balanced overall. I still need to use them in modes like GA and CS but for smaller modes like extraction I tend to just run disrupter, shield squad and improved buff charge because it allows me to push the objective with my team in a very aggressive manner while also locking down the area by negating explosive spam.

The officer class is my favorite class. I can literally get 6k Battlepoints before dying for the first time in the match.
I get like 5-10 before dying when I'm not trying lol

Just my opinion but I think that the Bounty Hunter Battlepoint Card should be built into the Classes themselves much like how the Health-On-Kill Hero Card is going to be, It will allow for more creative Star Card choices rather than the generic Ones almost 90% of players use.
I fall more into a battlepoint earning Officer loadout because Infantry Combat can get stale pretty quick, and Heroes and vehicles help spice things up, My personal favorite Blaster for the Officer is the S-5 with Ion Shot because it can dominate Over Enemy Fighters, And pack a punch against vehicles like the AAT, AT-ST, TX-130, even the weakest of the bunch the AT-RT as well. And it is also useful for damaging Speeders, turrets and main objectives. Next to the Specialists ion sniper mode the officers is the hardest hitting of the bunch.

new to the channel after getting the game last week, massively helpful video that changed the way I play by making me run with different cards. Was drawn to the officer right away after always being a pistol guy in the first battlefront, I think I'm the only guy not to be the biggest fan of the SE, the autofire I find makes me lazier as I just spray and pray but with the blurg or S5 I'm more thoughtful of my shots.
I like to use Resourceful and Recharge Command to let my teammates spam abilities as much as possible. Turn a group of Heavies into a non-stop Sentry firing squad

How i usually play the officer is to establish a beachhead when playing offense ill run to the closest cp to capture use the cluster flash grenade to blind all the enemies run up and shoot the ones i can then ill plant a shield and use blast command for my allies and myself to push them back after that i try to flash the big crouds for my heavies keep the shield up and take the stragglers that get too close to the cp
It's almost 2am for me and i've been grinding for idk how long now but i got what I wanted and it all paid off.

Recharge Command is great for chokepoints where your team are all bunched together. If you pay attention to when teammates use abilities you can give your team a huge advantage. I’ve had the most success on the second phase of Theed.
Officer class is by far the most fun class to play in my opinion
For the support build, I suggest 2 different loadouts, for Offense and Defense
For offense, use Officer’s presence, Improved battle command, and disruption. This allows your teammates to get back in the fight faster, take more damage, and being able to disrupt the enemy.
Defense: Defuser, Recharge command, and Improved turret.
This helps lock down hallways and objectives really easily
I do the bounty hunter, the health one, and the one that gives the people around you a shorter health regen. You just get points for standing next to someome. Plus obviously the last gun with obvious mods.
I've unlocked all of the pistols and the s5 is still my favourite - I do use it as a bit of a sniper and I use the dual zoom mod

@@dblxde by mod I mean the weapon modification btw - it comes with an achievement. Look at the s5 weapon and there r 3 boxes underneath it... If you have access to it then it'll be unlocked, or it'll say its unlockable in achievements

@@dblxde yeah... Check the in game achievement list to find out what but I'm pretty sure it's a certain number of kills with the s5 for the s5 dual scope

In kashyeek if your a clone get the 41st skin and hide in the bushes. Take command posts and blast the clankers. Also boost your teamates.
I've been trying to get better with officer but I cba anymore. At the end of the day I mostly use assault so I'm just gonna stick to that

I like to use the Recharge Command no matter what; I can throw my Flash Grenade, then I use it, and then I can throw it again.
I use the recharge command alot but noq that im thinking about it i should probably use the improved when im solo and recharge in close quarters with my team. Cause i feel like its useless for just urself

Here's a protip for scumming battlepoints. after using Battlefield command at the start of a round, if no one uses Recharge Command, just respawn as respawn timer is shorter than cooldown of an ability. :) On some maps, like kamino ga, you'll get to use it on big crowd again before team reaches first objective.

I’ve been looking online but haven’t found one so far; is there a complete database with all the class/unit stats (health/primary damage/ability damage/etc.)? The wiki fandom page has some but it’s definitely incomplete.
