- JJ Redick and Tommy Alter welcome yet another NBA Champion for a conversation, the one and only PJ Tucker (The Miami Heat).
Topics include: JJ and PJ's run-ins in various stages of their careers, when PJ was cut by The Toronto Raptors, playing in Europe, becoming an NBA Champion w/ The Milwaukee Bucks, playing w/ Giannis Antetokounmpo, guarding Kevin Durant in The Playoffs, how tough that Brooklyn Nets series was, how unlucky when he was playing for The Houston Rockets and Chris Paul got hurt, the Texas vs. Duke match-up where JJ went off and talked smack to PJ and so much more.

PJ discussing his mistakes and being able to learn from them, nothing but respect
ok CZcams commentator
I have respect for ur mother
Hell yeah. Thank you content creators for these interviews
Fr, JJ was saying it like he would be mad at the team for that and he was actually mad at himself. It takes a great dude to realize their wrongs and see the error of his ways
@@tretheband1818 ok
Not gonna lie, this might be the best player interview I’ve ever watched. Just seems like a super cool dude with an incredible journey that takes nothing for granted. Already liked the way he plays but now I just like the guy and his personality. Glad y’all got him on!
Jimmy butler and Duncan Robinson are good interviews as well
Agree
This and the Jimmy Butler interview. This one because of all the life stories, and Jimmy because you know Butler is going to expose some crazy behind-the-scenes sh!t. 💁🏻♂️🏀🤫
PJ is a real dude … love is grind and humbleness.
Humbleness? Dude bought a house to store his shoes :D
He’s keeping his stats humble fo sure
I love his belly laugh lmao
He works hard to buy what he likes...
I was surprised he completely different than I thought

Not all heroes wear capes
dont need time stamps, this podcast is always a good listen/watch all the way through
but appreciate it anyways
Mvp
You deserve a medal 🏅
You have a special place in heaven my good sir
PJ is legit the player that any casual fan would think was a bum because of his statlines but the reality is he's an anchor to any competitive team
No rings without the glue guy 💯
For sure! There were alot of playoff games back when he was with the rockets where I thought he were the best player on the floor even though his stats didnt look too impressive
If you know, you know.
@@Abbisch without PJ we don’t do ANYTHING that we accomplished.
PJ is the reason why we pushed GS to the brink a few times. I hate how casual fans don’t understand it.
Austin knows! Hook'Em! \m/
Love how PJ wants be a proper Vet to the young guys so they don’t make the same mistakes he made and how no one was there for him
the Bucks Nets series was an instant classic.
Am a Nets fan and am not even mad we lost. That series gave me everything I wanted to see in basketball. Loved the series!!
@@matiyaskebede8743 same, I'm a Suns fan I went to game 5 of the finals, I'm bummed we lost but it was awesome to experience such a great game.
@@matiyaskebede8743 and I hope Kyrie comes back.
@@nickr.2850 He’s not going to because I doubt he will take the vaccine anytime soon.
@@matiyaskebede8743 best series of the playoffs includes the finals. I wish it could have been from the championship. It was epic 😎
This is PJ’s first podcast? Wooow, definitely should be a good one.
Hahahaha surprisingly best one I’ve watched thus far!
Honestly already missing PJ as a Bucks fan. So important to the ring
I would never understand why some Bucks fans overrated him so much.. lol
@@Tasos_ what overrate? he is truly and genuinely importang to that team. Without pj thay dont win it.
@@nauy4612 nah! If Donte wasn’t injured Bucks would’ve win Nets in 5 or 6 games.
@@timothymodede8834 Stop it. PJ is the only one that could make KD work for his points.
@@timothymodede8834 you’re out of your mind lol. If donte is in that lineup, who will guard kd? Giannis? Lol giannis doesnt have the toughness and the quick feet to guard kd unlike pj.
Dude, PJ is so much more likeable than I imagined him to be based on his tough, understated play. Very thoughtful and great charisma. This man needs his own pod or TV job after he is done in the league.
One of the best episodes yet, loved PJ in Toronto. He doesn't stuff the stat sheet but is an important player that can fit on any team.
He plays such good d and never gets tired
Seeing how genuinely happy Pj is during this podcast makes me genuinely happy.
For sure one of the best episodes ever. JJ was absolutely right on twitter. Great show every week, cant wait for the next one.
PJ is the last of a dying breed. My brother stood out defensively in this era where you can’t even breathe to hard on a super star without drawing a foul.
PJ will always be cherished for what he did in Milwaukee. It’s a blue collar town and sometimes you gotta clock in and do the job nobody wants but everyone needs. Really easy to cheer for
"You just gotta get use to nobody caring."

@@azebteklu7519 Flexing on that APA game bro🔥
Please bring on Jimmy, Bam, Tyler, Kyle, Duncan and PJ - let them get into it with JJ all at once…. Heat pod 😂😂😂😂
JJ went into a zone while PJ spoke about how winning a chip feels. Really wish JJ could've make that happen. #JJForCoach
Though I was the only one who caught that . I felt for him at that moment .
You could also tell how excited he was to bring up college after pj talked ab it lol
yes I caught that as well he had to get himself together lol you can tell he really wanted to win 1

I’m a Suns fan and he was my favorite player when he played for us. I was bummed we lost in the finals, but I was happy PJ won a championship.
Gained a fan, PJ. Love really getting to know players through this podcast.
JJ is a great at this. Articulate, insightful, even funny. Hope he realizes how much better of a platform this is to 'do your thing' instead of getting lobotomized at ESPN.
💯

Well said.
Insightful.Man I'm just trying hold on to surviving friends While the rich people driving Benzes.
PJ was one of my favorite players to root for as a Bucks fan last season. Key part of why we won, wish him the best!
We need more overseas stories and stories about the transition back to the NBA. He has a lot of knowledge to offer. I hope we get to glean from him in the future.
I love how PJ is so excited and such an avid talker.
One of the best episodes yet. PJ sounds like he's been through a lot and his experiences seems to give him more angles to approach his craft. A respectable fellow indeed.
Wow, i knew Pj's screamed Heat culture but he him self is the heat organization strives to be, thanks for doing the dirty work big. Easily became one of my favorite players with this podcast. Whenever i review heat games I'll make sure to mention all of the little things that you do on the court because your job is not "thankless" anymore
Never heard an interview with PJ before. New respect after hearing how thoughtful and honest this guy is.
Old Man and the 3 railing those lines of HEAT CULTURE BABY. Love to see it
This is up there with Jimmy's episode. Real guys in their raw form. JJ's good at this podcast thing.
5 minutes in and this man talking about a SHOE HOUSE 😅
I remember a story when Michael Jordan asked him where he got his shoes 😂
Good for him
this is exactly what i would expect PJs voice to sound like.
PJ on the court versus off the court is night and day. Love his personality and his story! I’m a heat fan I’m so happy we picked him up!
This is the first pod cast I’ve sat through the whole thing. This episode was really good
This was very enjoyable conversation to listen, PJ is so authentic
PJ says it's a thankless job. Thank you, PJ. His hustle and toughness are truly inspiring
PJ is incredible. What a story, what a career, what a voice. So glad to have him on the Heat. Respect to that man 👏🏾🙌🏽💎
PJ seems like a very intelligent and honest guy, much respect
i love his mentality. He went through his downs, but came out a better man. Respect.
10 mins in and this is 🔥🔥🔥… JJ and Tommy hit it out the park with this
This is my Oprah, so much respect for PJ
PJ's podcast is the only one I've actually sat through, what a journey he's had.
Great interview. PJ and JJ are two of my favorite NBA guys off the court.
PJ needs to start his own podcast. Great guy
A sneaker podcast.
One of the realest interviews ever. Buying a Rockets Tucker jersey ASAP!
Awesome interview. PJ is a real one. The mistakes made, the lessons learned, the chips accumulated, the mountains climbed. Could listen to the dude all day with nothing but respect. Another home run for the pod.
Seriously. Gotta say it twice. This was the best interview I have watched hands down. So so happy to have u in Miami PJ🙏🏽
I have newfound respect for PJ. Glad he finally won one, and gonna keep watching him in Miami and beyond. Good man.
As a rockets fan I was so happy to see PJ win that ring man he's so tough 💯
I love PJ man. He's such a real one. I've been a big fan of PJ since his days in Phoenix. The way he plays and puts everything on the floor. He's so consistent because you know he will bring it every night. I have so much respect for him.
PJ is such a nice guy man. Loved the podcast. Great conversation!
His hustle and his passion earned my respect for life! He is a legend for real basketball fans!!! We are fans of you!
This was awesome. Nice to hear the emotion of some professional competitors. It’s great to see players still strive to win and the adversity many of these players have shown. Shoutout to y’all and PJ! Best of luck with ESPN!
Was at a game in Holon Israel in 08 this dude was easily the most athletic player in the league.
Its incredible how people even some GM's undervalue players like PJ , defense wins championships
guess the 50 Giannis got wasn't needed huh?
PJ Tucker is easily on of my favorite players in the NBA
This was by far the best episode I watched. Thank you for your hard work and thank you to PJ for opening up as well! Nothing but respect and love for all of you guys!
Keep em coming please! This is surely one of the best episodes yet.
One of the best podcasts I've seen in a while. This episode was great!
His intensity specifically is one of my favorite things to see in the NBA
Jj said this one of he best episodes ever, so I’m hyped
PJ one of the greatest defenders i have ever seen. Rockets, Bucks, Heat... Always locked in 🔒
JJ’s reaction to PJ explaining the feeling of the weight of your career falling off when you win the ‘chip…. Priceless!! You’re a winner JJ!! That attitude is what all winners carry!! You don’t gotta get the trophy to be a winner…. You’re a winner long before… and even if you never… get the ring!
what an awesome episode to watch , JJ’s communication and entertainment skills are as good as his 3pt shot .
One of the best podcast i have ever heard! Great job!
People, kids, who play hoops can learn a lot of valuable lessons from PJ's interview here.
I don’t even hoop anymore and I learned a lot of dope stuff already. Dope interview
PJ's an amazing guest, hope he starts his own podcast too!
Great Episode!!! Love this pod 💪🏻♥️ more content like this please.
Def best episode this year so far. Tuck a legend
As a Houston fan PJ will always be one of my favourite players dude is a Dawg you can't teach that kind of hustle and will to win you either have it or you don't 😤
love this interview...PJ talks from the heart
This is my fav episode from you guys. Hands down
We forget how much people can change. PJ is such a real dude about everything. It can’t be easy to play 40 minutes without scoring but the fact he cares more about winning shows a lot about his character
Great episode. Tommy always ask the best questions, he needs to ask more
Another great Podcast JJ and Tuck is the Man!!!
PJ talking about other places is so pure. Wish for a separate podcast about it. Or a book
This man was my favorite player at one point in time. I’ll always appreciate your time in Houston P.J.
Loved this guy at UT and in Houston. Always rootin for ya bro
love this pod, PJ takling championship gives me chills
Love when nba players do podcast. People forget yall are human.
Duke fan x Suns fan here
Definitely a top candidate for long shot pod w. Duncan and Davis
This man is an actual hero. Dude just keeps going no matter how many you put on him. Because he knows that he's doing it for the team.
Thanks for all the knowledge and the nice podcasts JJ and of course thank you for your HOF NBA career!!! 🔥🔥🙏🙏
watched 9 seconds of this video and JJ reddick jumped like 12 notches in my appreciation post.
I've been waiting for this.
I love hearing people talk about college jj. People that didn't watch it don't fully understand that JJ was THAT DUDE. He was the most loved in Duke and the most hated player in college history by every one else. It was a wild era
I was waiting for this after the video yesterday
Loved this episode! PJ is such a great dude, so happy he got a ring.
This is my favourite episode...shout out from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
incredible interview
This interview was amazing.

Coming back to this for some magic Let’s go Bucks
This is a fantastic interview

Pj one of my of my favorite players to watch.. Off the court one of the best dressed to do it. Would love to sit down n talk to him about his love for dressing and where it came from💪🏿💪🏿
Now it just feels like MIAMI's going back to the finals this season. The more you work harder, the luckier you get! Go get another ring PJ!
One of my favorite X factor players ever. He brings so much to any team he plays for.
PJ man… he’s awesome beyond belief. Thanks JJ. Keep bringing these dudes and let them talk. It brings a different lens to the game.
