It’s very critical to set your boundaries very early in such relationships. Abusive people like control and power. Their power is when you participate in their game and become defensive. Do not argue but do not let them step over your respect and dignity either. Don’t stoop to their level but don’t let them step all over you either.

My parents got separated when i was 6 and that had great impact on my mother’s personality and that made her a toxic women .she becomes aggressive easily and use abusive language too . M too much perturbed about her toxicity and mental disorder.🥺

I think more than mental health , it is the way we are raising our men. We are developing in them narcissistic personalities. Where as soon they get on their feet they don’t like to listen. We as parents teach them that they are always right even when they are making decisions which are harmful not only for them, but for the whole family. Thats why the whole pakistan is in problem because we just dont have leaders with good leadership skills like harron rashid or salahdun ayubi. Our men are very very far from the religion. And due to patriarchal culture who usually follows hindustani values or muslim teachers or imams and mufti who themselves are very influenced with culture. We dont have men who are independent thinkers. Always make sure before you get married do investigation several time. Just like when you go to buy a car and home. You see several cars and homes. Visit family for atleast for 1 or 2 years. In the meantime women needs to finish their education and go into profession. One don’t need to have to go through all this problem and then have children who have same problem.
