Nah thats on the con for not paying for any, they shouldn't be acountable for people acting out when they are just there to talk to fans and have a good con. With the last few years in mind, I would have refused to get on stage if they didn't have someone to make sure I'm safe.

I was there. I was wondering if someone had captured the “crazy guy” moment and if it’d be uploaded onto CZcams. I cannot believe that there was no prevention or help with that situation whatsoever. The only reason that weirdo left was because HE CHOSE to leave. There was no security there at all. I feel so bad for them but I’m thankful that the guy didn’t harm them or do something worse. This really sucks since they’ve been restricted from seeing fans for over two years, and they have to deal with this at their FIRST convention as Trash Taste. I highly doubt that they will come back to MCM Comic Con after this display of how bad the security is… and that really sucks cause I would’ve loved to see them again…
They did mention in an episode that they didn't want nor thought they would need security, they definitely got too comfortable and naive. I really hope they learned the lesson after this, the last and dumbest thing a big creator can do is fully trust their fanbase, its just plain dangerous, so many people watch them theres bound to be pshycos and fucked up people in there, thank god this wasnt in the US, that shit could've gone so much worse, specially in a place where every other guy has a gun.
Personally I'd like to know what the usual arrangements for security is at these types of panels. How much is up to the venue to organize it, versus the event holders, versus the panelists themselves. They did indeed merely talk on the podcast about having security for when they did this, but they seemed reluctant. So if it was partially their responsibility to request some and they didn't, then it's a shame they have to learn the lesson the hard way. But it grinds my gears in particular because even when they talked about it on the podcast I thought it'd be naive of them to not ensure that they had security, and that at the very least maybe Meilyne or someone would make that call regardless of what the boys nonchalantly wanted.
At the very least I'm grateful that was the only result out of that presumptuous man, I hope it serves the crew to actually make preparations against any weird shit like that since only a harmless one happened.
As someone that worked private security it absolutely blows my mind that there wasn't any kind of security response to that guy at such a massive convention. I don't know if the boys didn't want it or the con didn't provided it but some random guy coming on stage is a MASSIVE red flag, especially after the horrible situation that recently occurred in the US. Obviously since it's the UK the odds of that guy having a gun are near zero, but he could've easily had a knife. I realize it's morbid to think about but if he really wanted, that guy could've stabbed and potentially killed anyone on that stage, possibly even more then one depending on how everyone reacted. When you have millions of fans, you're basically celebrity status at that point even if you're "only" an internet celebrity. With that many people, you're bond to have a few who are mentally unhinged. I hope the boys take this as a sign for future cons to have at least one or two guards around the stage to prevent this kind of thing from happening again.

Everytime Connor gets shipped he dies a little inside. Guy has talked about multiple times on stream how uncomfortable it makes him. And I'm sure there are people on the reddit who think "well I jokingly ship him with Chris I'm one of the good ones" but then you have people who wouldn't be able to understand it's a joke and ask it anyways. The real solution is to not ship him nor post anything about it, but lord knows younger folks think they're one of the good ones for doing funny ones.
With the Chris thing even Chris jokingly said Connor was his boyfriend once. Like you might as well not make any jokes at all because anyone can interpret any joke as serious with your logic

But standing on a stage with hundreds of people in the audience, that is pressure that some extroverts can't handle. He could possibly be extroverted in a one on one conversation or even in conversations with multiple people at once (like trash taste). That's why he likes to go around places and meet people in his channel and enjoys streaming. Introverts enjoys most of their time alone, writing music, reading, etc, thus Joey and Garnt doesn't seem as confident when streaming. Shyness is present on both tendencies. And public speaking is outside of intro/extrovertedness. Plus people do tend to be cringe-y in such events, he's a Brit, so he'd be acting quite awkward. And add the fact it's been 2 yrs since they last accommodated crowds.
So glad I got to see the boys on stage, aside from the incident I hope they had a fun time meeting fans :) I was the Princess Filianore cosplayer ‘pulling sweets out of the void’ and throwing them over to them :3 I hope they enjoyed the maoam’s :)
Thank you for uploading this, for people who are taking GCSE's and A-levels it makes it hard to attend events like these and it really helps to be able to somewhat be apart of it, it was a really fun panel to watch even if not in-person

I'd say deadman was "kinda" mainstream. I was a child just entering the "anime" scene when it was airing and I was already seen lot of people talk about it, and the years after too. I'd say due to time it has been forgotten, but people still recognize the name and, at the time, it was kinda popular, but thats just me lol
If they do mention the stage jumper, I hope it'll just be a one off comment to set a precedent on expectations in the future and not a full blown conversation that will make others want to attempt the same thing.

OMG, I saw the one on the next day with only Connor and Joey and we got warnings cause of the crazy guy. They honestly looked a little shaken at that time but frankly I’m not surprised, they were also signing for 2-3hrs but you could only get in the queue for signing if you had the priority pass and didn’t go to the panel, Damm insane how big these guys have grown

@@kurokun07 Shyness doesn't equate to intro/extravertedness. Connor can be really shy and is awkward on a lot of times, that's what his main channel is all about. But I believe he's leaning more into an extrovert. He also doesn't hold himself when something is cringe. He's a Brit.

But standing on a stage with hundreds of people in the audience, that is pressure that some extroverts can't handle. He could possibly be extroverted in a one on one conversation or even in conversations with multiple people at once (like trash taste). But it isn't everyday where an extrovert is at a panel like this one

That's why he likes to go around places and meet people in his channel and enjoys streaming. Introverts enjoys most of their time alone, writing music, reading, etc, thus Joey and Garnt doesn't seem as confident when streaming. Shyness is present on both tendencies. And public speaking is outside of intro/extrovertedness. Plus people do tend to be cringe-y in such events, he's a Brit, so he'd be acting quite awkward. And add the fact it's been 2 yrs since they last accommodated crowds.

They honestly looked a little shaken at that time but frankly I’m not surprised, they were also signing for 2-3hrs but you could only get in the queue for signing if you had the priority pass and didn’t go to the panel, Damm insane how big these guys have grown
