All in all, I’d say that was a good first game breaking in the new pads! Didn’t need new pads for the helmet and paddle saves 😂

I love my new chest protector, but it’s so bulky, might try to get a smaller one to get me back out between the pipes

Thank God that shot to the head was a back hand. You played really well in the new pads.
What are your initial thoughts on them?
I'd be really interested to see you do a full review once you have used them a few more times.

Hey Jack, that shot sounded a lot worse than it was, I felt it graze the side but wasn’t too bad. I really them, they are a little more “reboundy” than my old SubZeros but I believe that is by design. Notice it a lot on kick saves, it really helps clear the rebound. Really the quick strap setup too, still working out what feels best in that department though. Hope you had a good 4th!
