Ok 1st) we didn't win 6 gms last yr we won 4. 2) sam isn't the only blame, OC Eric B definitely killed his development with his play calling. 3rd) as far as Quan, he's definitely gonna be the x-factor for this defense

Love how no one is mentioning we do not have a solid Tackle (left or right). Stop talking about how Daniels is gonna gel with our wide receivers when he has to operate from a collapsing pocket every other down.

We get caught up in household names for the oline is people Remember RG3 rookie year the oline only had Trent who was coming of a suspension a year before and that unit worked together and the scheme around it made success

The offensive line is absolutely my biggest concern about the team this year. If the line coach wasn't Bobby Johnson, who was unable to coach up several high draft picks over the past few years for the Giants, I might have more confidence. I'm not pessimistic about it, but I'm not optimistic either.
My hope is that Kingsbury is able to scheme the line to outplay their expected talent. We haven't had great coaches over the past few years, either at the top or at the position groups, but even if Johnson isn't great, the rest of the coaching staff should be able to compensate.

Just a sidebar but when is the last time a marquis player in the league publicly announced that he would be happy playing in Washington? That’s a great sign our team is moving in the right direction

When he knows that there is cap space available to fit his demand...I'm just saying 😂😂😂

I would love to bring Aiyuk here, but he's being over-valued. I've seen CRAZY SF media and fans suggest it would take Terry AND a 2nd...
Which aside from completely defeating the purpose of loading up WRs to help our rookie QB overcome a questionable OL, is just crazy.
We would trade a 2nd round pick AND a WR that has been Just as productive, while in a FAR worse situation? So we can PAY HIM More Money?
Make it make sense. Just like L.T. told the kids after Bobby Boucher's speech...Don't Smoke Crack.
Terry hasn't had offensive Genius Kyle Shanahan dialing it up, Deebo, Kittle, and CMC to draw attention, and up to this point he's had 10 different QBs and none of them were as consistent as Jimmy G/Purdy.
SF is hurting their leverage the more disgruntled they let Aiyuk get and honestly, they are approaching a VERY similar situation to the one we were in that let SF steal The Best LT in Football for a 3rd and a 5th. It would be pretty fitting if Adam Peters came over from SF and got Aiyuk for a similar deal.
Aiyuk isn't on Tyreek Hill, or AJ Brown's level of an unstoppable game-breaker,
Him being disgruntled puts him in a Stefon Diggs position, but without a 3-year extension locked up with 2 years of it paid for to sweeten the deal.
The Jayden connection makes it similar to the Davante Adams trade, and he's younger but not an Adams clutch, 90% of the off., double-digit TD guy
SF can really afford to give him what he wants with Purdy's extension coming up, the clearer that becomes, the more disgruntled he gets.
The less leverage SF Has, the bigger blow their compensation takes.
WAS and the PIT as the front runners for Aiyuk hurt their hopes of a 1st for him.
We have the cap to pay him right now, with a potential franchise QB just starting a rookie deal, but we likely need our 1st to solidify the OL.
    Which is much more important.
While the Steelers are a little light on cap until next year and Completely up in the air when it comes to QB.
They need either their 1st to draft a QB, or the cap they'd be devoting for Aiyuk to extend one of their Vet QBs if successful.
Or the draft capital and the money to chase another Vet QB via trade/free agency next year. All more important than an extra WR.
I think Aiyuk will be a Commander by week 6 and the SF fans/media will be disappointed in the return they get for once.

    • @kyleblankenship6183

@@kyleblankenship6183 I'd prefer we waited to see if Jahan, Luke or Dyami break out with Jayden/Kliff's offense before spending resources
we could use to fix the O-line.
If nobody but Terry is making an impact and it's hurting Jayden OR we can get him without a 1st I say pull the trigger.
If it gets toxic enough that AP can pull off a Trent-type swindle then by all means, because cap isn't an issue with Jayden's rookie deal.
If I had to chose 1 or the other. I'd prefer we reunited Jayden with his LSU LT Will Campbell in the draft than his ASU WR/BFF from his freshmen season 5 years ago, but if we can get Aiyuk for less than a 1st we could have a shot at both, which would be great.
Even if Coleman looks good I think Campbell, Coleman, Biadasz, Stromberg, and Cosmi could develop into a Philly-level O-Line
(Cosmi should be playing OT, and Stromberg has a ton of potential, and I trust this staff to actually use it)
Aiyuk or not I wouldn't mind adding some size at WR next draft, to replace Dyami if he doesn't impress enough to earn an extension.
I already have my eye on Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, Stanford's Elic Ayomanor, and Syracuse's Oronde Gadsden II if he can bounce back as impressively from his knee injury as Elic did last year.

    • @kyleblankenship6183
      @kyleblankenship6183 Před 6 dny

@washingtoncommandcenter5541 I don't see Dyami getting an extension. I think Jahan will fill the slot but t share reception with McCaffery and we'll know by mid way through the season who's "the guy" to hold that spot.
Well see what Brandon, youke does period more than likely stays with san francisco, but he'd be a Hell of an upgrade as a 2nd WR to Terry

  • @danmiller6462

We only won 4 games last year. I think we will win 8 or 9 games this year but just miss the playoffs. As far as trading for Aiuk we can't go above a 3rd round pick and a player. Maybe add another player and a 4th round pick too. But our 1st round pick is off limits as well as our 2nd round pick. We need our high picks next year for offensive line help.

DQ/AP/Harris all seem to be on the same page: Build through draft while rolling over cap $$ year after year. Look at our FA signings. Mostly short term, team friendly $$. The changes done so far speak volumes. As much as I would love to see what this team could do year 1 when nobody knows what to expect, its not gonna happen. We not bringing in BA. His $$ wanted being reason 1, reason 2....the cost of trading for him. With the GLARING holes at LT, EDGE, and CB, we still not even bringing in Bakhtiari, Williams, Smith, or Gilmore???? And those are free agents likely to be affordable. So what gives? Wash is gonna do EXACTLY what DQ has said time and again. Gonna be "competitive" this year(Meaning win more than last year, but not realistically looking at contending) and build through draft. Only when he thinks we got a good enough team to contend for conference and make a real "run" will he do big contract like a BA. I think he gonna trade Allen or Payne b4 end of year for extra draft capital. Just dont see a BA deal as realistic with what front office has said, and done so far. I think this year Wash will be content with 7-8 wins and keep building for at least another year or 2.
