- A full room tour of Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas Ocean View Balcony 8658! This stateroom on Freedom OTS is located on the 8th floor mid-ship and is directly in-between the elevators.
This this ocean view balcony was a plenty good size for me and I enjoyed being on the 8th deck directly in-between the Royal Promenade on deck 5 and the pool deck on deck 11.

The mirrors do seem backwards but I just realized it is designed to give you the wrap around views for styling etc.

We stayed in 6638 on the middle of the hump on Freedom, it was our first balcony now I am hooked! I do want to mention be careful of the shelves in the bathroom, I had one of the glass pieces slide out and shatter on the floor. My friend noted they replaced it with plexiglass as one of the other shelves was plexiglass too. So just a just a quick tip. I really enjoyed being midship too.
Yes! They are not always secured in there like you think! I have one fall out on me as well and it is scary!
Hey Brandon! My thought: I think the “wrong way opening” doors on the vanity are for those who are doing make up to open and feel like it’s a real vanity!

Hello! GREAT video! We're sailing on Freedom in December! Question: Do the cabin bathrooms on Freedom have night lights? On Odyssey, the bathrooms have night lights when all the other lights are off. 🙂
Thank you!!! The Freedom of the Seas is a bit older and does not have nightlights in the bathroom. I have experienced these on newer ships and it is a really nice touch even for an adult!
Can you do a tour of the aft junior suite deck 10 for the mariner of the seas?
Hey Bobbie! As much as I would love to take cruise ship request, My schedule is booked out a year in advance. However, I am on the Mariner in 2 weeks in a junior suite on deck 9 but not in the aft ;-) Stay tuned!
Hey Brandon! I just booked this ship for my wife's 30th birthday. I opted for the balcony room, this will be our first time on this ship. Are the night time activities good on this ship?
Hey Chavis!! If you are on Freedom for the 3 night sailing, the night life will be extremely fun and you will find many people to help celebrate your wife's 30th! If you are there for a 4 night, the nightlife is a little more timid. It is there, but not like the 3 night.

@@TheWeekendCruiser I noticed that to have more space and stop bumping into things, now that you told me about the walls, some people have the tables removed...perhaps they forgot to put it back

I traditionally choose my room. Always try to get a different room to add to the video collection of tours 😜
