IF the mate does not get shot after the revive for a pretty long time, he can actually heal up to 75 health.
and lifelines perk has the actual effect of: the mate always gets revived with 120 health, you can carry way more healing items and get a free evo upgrade and a bunch of healing stuff. like why do they do this to newcastle!!!!

Crypto is really strong rn, wdym. The reason because not too much people play it its because its not a legend for everyone but if u actually like it and learn how to play it, its the best recon legend.
@@bitsoh2774 crypto is a niche pick that requires solid communication and coordination with the team. crypto players need to be active and vocal with the callouts which is hard to pull off with solo queuers.
thats why crypto does decently well in the pro scene and not so much in soloq. id say hes in a good spot atm with the perks that he has and the 360 scan when you throw the drone out
@@bitsoh2774 he is one of the most well rounded legends in the game. However if you die to a crypto then you definitely made a mistake. Not like Conduit or Horizon who has no counterplay.

I used to play lifeline a lot but then ventured out to other characters. Her recent supply drop perk has been really good and it sucks to see it go, but to replace it with all gold items just sounds even more annoying for enemies if everyone on the team will have a gold knockdown shield lol. With the drone buffs she’s definitely going to be annoying to fight against. I look forward to testing these new perks.
Is the update immediately on the 1st day next week or some random day within that?

The shield for revive needs to be back as passive, may be smaller but is not fair compared with Newcastle
i think lifeline might become a bit broken with these buffs and i really think that she will outclass every single support character (yes, also conduit) because reviving an ally with a total of 120 hp with 20% faster revive can completely clutch a fight. before the perk, you had to find a golden knockdown, which was pretty rare, but now you have it in every single game, which sounds incredibly nice (my boy newcastle still not getting anything good the thing is: this perk is basically the newcastle perk but 1000 times better because newcastles perk is:

Definitely not as op as it sounds, once you place it’s not like it can move with you. You could place it prematurely and then need it 5-10 seconds later in a different position
its only healing your hp not shield so it isnt that broken, the current tactical is pretty mid due to it having a long cooldown and healing enemies+being destroyed in zone
Lifeline is meta now, all the teams in the ALGS have started using her because of her care package with a red weapon.. I’m fine with her current abilities. I’m actually maining LL in ranked right now because of her abilities.

Passive: lifeline has the ability to instantly revive ALL teammates within a 30 meter radius without touching them.
Tactical: lifeline can temporarily add a force field around a specific teammate making them invincible for 10 seconds, while in invincible you can’t shoot or use abilities however you CAN heal and reload.
Ult: lifeline summons mahoraga to instantly win the match (10s cooldown)
The Ult is a great idea actually would make matches much faster pace

the funny thing is: in the animations (like his launch trailer) the drone flies on its one, but every time it comes to gameplay, the drone is too dumb to move a single time

As a Lifeline main, I really hope this rework comes with a mythic skin or at least an heirloom recolor. She is a huge star in apex and gets no love. It is crazy how many legends got a mythic skin before her. She was there even before Octane. heirloom still has ONE animation.

If she's gonna have a drone that follows, the drone needs to have a certain amount of health.
She should never lose her care package. It's a ciritical part of her identity and she is the only legend in the game that can "create" loot. The value of this is understated until you've lost it and realize how clutch it was.

@@liahnotleah im personally a paranoid person and wouldnt like to play until the vulnerability destroyer2009 used is at least somewhat patched because that could mean any old loser could break into my computer and hijack my bank account etc etc especially since it was just publicized like that that there is a vulnerability that serious in a competitive tournament, i've also heard about people finding viruses and malware on their computer after playing since the algs scandal and needless to say viruses and malware are quite undesirable for my needs personally

Bangalore needs a rework more, that smoke launcher is too OP in the right hands and absolutely dumb in the wrong person's hands, I find if someone picks her in my own team it forces me to use a scan legend as most times put of ten I die as they fire smoke around us and I can't see or at least make it so you can see enemies through smoke as a whole team.

Fr lifelines are no skill, the fact they're going to have gold knocks more often is even more broken, the amount of skill required to knock someone especially in ranked is a lot, just for them to push a single button and undo it
Exactly she's already annoying enough and too op, and she's been getting buffs only since the update that took her res shield back in season 10 uf I'm not mistaken.
Every other support can do more than her, she only shines when everyone is down and she has a golf knockdown shield. Yeah she has the care package weapon but that won't help when that's really the only thing going for her. You use to be able to drop health drone in storm to survive a few extra seconds to heal but that was also taken away.

"There was never an issue with her pick rate" despite being a free Legend right off the bat, as soon as she had her rez shield removed, her pick rate completely plummeted. And once Newcastle came out, she was one of the lowest picked legends over all. The only reason she wasn't dead last is because she is free right off the bat like I already said. And she's our only dedicated healer. Whenever we get an uptick in new players, Lifeline's pick rate raises a little because that's a bunch of new players choosing to play her over someone better like Newcastle, Mirage, or even Wattson since they haven't unlocked those Legends yet.

Ash needs a buff
As a lifeline main, I laughed at those perks. I KNEW they were out of character and what did other "mains" say? That they weren't and BAM respawn agreed and now they're changed. I have proudly never selected them because I knew they were stupid. Of course I'm choosing Speed revives and Self revive. Why the hell would I need a red weapon by that point? My weapons should already be kitted by the time I hit purple anyway. Stupid stupid stupid. Anyway, I'm still probably not choosing them. I enjoy reviving right away to throw off the enemy while my partners get revived faster. (If they survive or not) been winning more games with these perks. Until the rework, I'll be abusing these.
They should give LL the ultimate from the dummies ltm where if she pop her ultimate, she can heal her team fully. It would stop 3rd parties pushing. That would be a great ultimate to have, and we have already tested this with the dummies ltm.
Conduit is still fundamentally OP, giving another character a stronger ability isn't the way.

Crypto is actually good, albeit hard to play. Lifeline has consistently either been outdated in design, or had some one part of her kit be utter bullshit while everything else is useless.

@@Spartan-bl4pq what are you on about? this season's crypto is one of the strongest versions ever. Ability to call out squad, collect evo point using drone, safe respawning and better emp. Crypto doesn't see much play because most players prefer aggressive legends as opposed to supports. Hell I've seen more crypto this season than all the past 3 seasons combined.

My Rework Idea:
Ultimate: Upgrade your knockdown shield. If max, can bounce to an ally or upgrade your backpack. If Both KDS and Pack are max, bounce to ally to do likewise. If everyone's KDS and Pack are max, Shield refresher. By activating this Ultimate, you use a Shield Battery that has a faster use and restores not only your shields but also your allies.
Sort of based off Monarch Titan a little bit. Upgrade core into shield recharger.
Bonus, might grant your squad some EVO, max efficiency like a harvester, when you cast your Ult, especially if everyone already has maxed equipment.
Upgrades Prioritize KDS, then Backpack, then Helm. Might be squad-wide, might be one at a time. Depends on how they decide to Balance it.
Tactical: DOC Follows Lifeline around, and she can tap to send DOC to an ally for healing or reviving or Hold to recall. Once every 30 seconds Lifeline and her allies can crawl to DOC to initiate self revive. If she sends DOC to someone, they get a free self revive. She can have DOC revive only one person at a time. She can manually revive the other. DOC will not go beyond 100 meters away from Lifeline.
While disengaged, can Hold Tactical button to mount DOC on her back, granting her constant regeneration and DOC will instantly start reviving her if she gets downed.
Passive: Drone-Buddy: DOC Follows Lifeline around healing people and granting Self Revives. People can self-revive at DOC once every 30 seconds. If Lifeline sends DOC to someone, they can Self-Revive even if on cooldown, this effect can occur once per send.
Survive for 30 seconds to be able to self-revive again.
Balancing: DOC might be able to be shot to cancel a self revive.
If the Whole squad is downed, DOC can be destroyed to eliminate the squad.
Killing Lifeline will not instantly cause DOC to despawn, rather once Lifeline is eliminated, DOC will follow the squad until destroyed. DOC has 200 HP and regenerates.
I might have made a Broken DOC.
Alternatively, DOC might be controlled by Lifeline's player when she's eliminated. Being only able to heal allies and revive them when they are downed. Regenerating since DOC cannot use or carry medical items or shield supplies. Likewise, DOC might have HP based off Lifeline's Armor level. White 150, Blue 175, Purple 200, Red 225.
Heal occurs automatically for nearby allies. Triggers do absolutely nothing as DOC. Might be able to carry deathboxes though.
Hold E to revive allies. Same animation as DOC revive, because it is a DOC revive, just controlled by Lifeline's Player.

The smart loot needs to be more...smart. like, i was in a game with zero team mates and my package had TWO mobile respwans yet literally the game right before it, both of my team mates needed to be recovered and my package had a heat shield.
hmmmmmmm... who should get the big buff or rework... maybe the only guy with a pick rate below 1% at ALL ranks and in pubs because he just lacks the ability too keep up with other legends (Newcastle)? or the overall worst assault legend with a bad pick rate (ash)? or the one recon legend that gets outclassed by everyone else and does not fit in the fast paced playstyle of the game (crypto)? or the guy with the bubble who could use a buff (gibby)? NAAAAHHHHHH we will buff the support legend with a BIG pick rate of 6% who already got many buffs and has a solid part of the community playing her, yes THAT is the right legend to rework

Rez shield only comes back if they ditch auto-rez, and at that point her and Newcastle start getting in each other's design space.

We have waaaaaayyyyy too many area control Legends to counter it: Fuse, Bang, Gibby, Caustic, Maggie, Tranalyst, Conduit, Valk....
Not to mention all the high damage Legends that would immediately eat away at a rez, or all the second chance Legends that would provide extra help: Rampart, Crypto, Rev, even Horizon and Ash.
On top of all of that, equipping a grenade and throwing it over the 2-inch tall rez shield is free for ANY Legend to do.
I am so tired of trying to explain this to anti-Lifeline cry babies. Your argument was only viable for a very short period when our Legend roster was only 10 choices, and we had maybe 1 area control Legend. But now? With the MASSIVE pool to pick from and the insane variety in game play, Lifeline having her rez shield + auto rez isn't going to make her OP.
But, I'll give you one thing: us Lifeline players ALL agreed that her rez shield should have a breakable barrier like Newcastle. I will never understand how a breakable barrier for Newcastle as he literally drags you out of the fray isn't considered OP, but Lifeline having a breakable barrier and still be able to fight isn't. Or what about Gibby and his indestructible barrier + fast rez?
Is it because Lifeline can still fight but Newcastle and Gibby can't? Because all that excuse tells me is you aren't good enough to 3v2, and the only way you can win a fight is if the enemy is only 1 person. And if you can't 3v2, then you aren't good enough to have a valid opinion on balancing issues.
Lifeline could reset fights way too easily. Her fast manual rez with shield was fine, her unshielded auto-rez is fine. You either create space with the shield, or with your gun, having both lets her get away with too much.
