10 miles would be great, whether you use it is up to you. The vehicle can withstand it for sure.

So 1, what size AH batteries are on the scooter, 2, what's the maximum speed will it do ie Low or High, 3, what's the highest weight it will carry

I think they do a modified one....there are lots of choices...
