  • The Descent into Laverton from the Cotswold Way is straightforward by foot. By Off-Road Mobility Scooter (Trampers) it is a different story.
The path is fairly steep but the large, rocky, drops make it 'interesting. The protruding bushes were neatly trimmed but overhang the route causing us to force our way past them.
The plank across the gate near the bottom of the descent is very challenging to overcome needing brute strength to lift the Trampers over it.

Blimey, I would still be grumbling about the plank at the end!

I enjoyed that. I've got a Velobike scooter and I'm thinking about buying an allterrain scooter.
A question. Can you extra battery packs to recharge your battery on a trip?

Hi John, the batteries in the all-terrain scooters that I know of are big and heavy - the same size as a large car battery - 75ah. And there are two or three of them. They are not easy to change over either but it can be done.
A better solution is to buy a Tramper with lithium batteries which give a much greater range and are much lighter too.
