    You are so knowledgeable and I hope one day I can find someone like you to help me find out why for the past 20 years I've been having so much pain in my lowback/hip area. I can't work or enjoy life without pain. I feel that my hip (mainly right side) is bruised/squeezed and sore. It hurts a lot after standing for awhile and if I sit down, it just feel sore. If I stay up late, it hurts a lot more and when I wake up, it takes me almost an hour or two to get comfortable to get out the bed. I'm in my 30's now... I want someone to free me so I can enjoy life and work. The handful of doctors I've seen never helped me and kept pushing therapy, but every time..no result.

    Psoas is not the hip flexor, main is iliacus
    The functuon is stability for spine , it will activation both because stabilizer , not the mobilizaer

    • @gezzapk
      @gezzapk Před 3 lety +1

      Psoas major and iliacus work together and as stabilizers. The Psoas Major insertion runs into the femur so it's more involved with the integrity of connection between the trunk and the lower body. But hip flexion is only relevant during the initial part of the movement (raising the leg, walking up stairs) as it's mostly activated during the contraction

      If you have pain in the hip, leg, butt, it is absolutely impossible to make pigeon lose like all sites recommend. (((

    Hi Professor, I am a post-graduate student majoring in sports rehabilitation in China, your video is great and I have learnt a lot from your videos. However there are a few videos about rehabilitation like this in Chinese websites, so I wanna ask if I could translate your videos into Chinese and post them on the Chinese video websites like Sina Weibo for free with your video‘s orginal link?
