Whether he is or not what he has done for Leicester City will never be forgotten, his loyalty to the club when he could have walked away is something we the fans, again, will never forget. I remember when the press said he had all but signed for Arsenal and to be fair I would not have blamed him if he had. 51 years a fan of LCFC and even today I have to pinch myself for what we have achieved and Vardy has been a massive part of that.
Vardy winning the league with Leicester is more than winning 3 PL Titles at ManCity. Won more than Kane and always performs well against top six teams. He is not in the top 10 best strikers but he did extremely well.

Does it matter? Vardy has been enormously successful in his football career and has probably performed beyond his and his clubs wildest dreams. At Leicester Vardy has been their Henry or Kane or Owen. Put it this way Vardy has been priceless for Leicester.

I put Vardy just above Torres and Cole. Also, as brilliant as he was, van Persie also only won 1 PL and 1 FA Cup, and he played for two top tier teams.
no heâs not. but vardy best attribute is his brain, he knows what defenders hate and model his game to exploit that. all his pass, shot selection are the hardest to defend against, when he hides behind cb just in case they pass back to the keeper. press people as soon as they make the first touch. he nailed every single aspect of being a striker that nobody wants to play against.
I wouldn't think so but he is a quality player no doubt about it id just have others ahead of him.

Arguably. Statistically though he is currently the 12th highest premiership striker scorer of all time .. debatable with Michael Owen.
To qualify in the top 10 you need to look at longevity, records and trophies. Whilst players like Torres and Suarez may have been better in a given year, Vardy ticks all the box's and 100% is in the top 10 imo. I'd argue his place over Kanes.

Rate vardy although top 20 is even questionable. Kevin Phillips berbatov Defoe anelka listing a few even bent I'd rate higher than vardy. People forget the past a bit to quick.

Mate come on. Only one of them has more goals than Vardy and that's Defoe. In terms of goal contributions (goals and assists) Defoe is the only one who has a better record than Vardy and even then, he has 15 more despite playing over 200 more games.
Vardy has played 289 games which is far fewer than anyone you mentioned yet there is only a decent argument for one of them being ahead of Vardy on that list.
Good striker, loyal and consumate pro, but there are definitely a lot more better and superior strikers in PL history.

Trying to make him out to be more than he was, is not only insulting to the great strikers who have graced the PL. It is unfair to Vardy as well.
For the last few seasons he has fallen off a cliff, longevity matters and as great as Vardy was he hasn't he doing it consistently for long enough like Drogba, Rooney, Kane etc

Yet heâs still in the top 15 of all-time pl scorers. Heâs done that in 7 years pretty much after 25.
