- Anyway, what I don't want everyone to misunderstand is that the burning of fields is done to preserve the environment.
This is not a how-to video.
The method I'm using is not necessarily the right one. Nowadays, you can find out the right way to do things by searching on Google. If you only want results, that's fine too.
But for me, the most important thing is not whether a method is right or wrong, but to experience firsthand why it succeeds or fails.
All work is done personally and at my own risk.

Good morning Brucke, It is 6:44am here in the US where I am. I get so excited when I see your video's posting. I enjoyed seeing the names of your flowers and trees it was so nice. I agree with annual burning of the fields. My culture also for many centuries have burned the fields and the ash feeds the land. One hundred years ago my Grandparents and Great Grandparents were large rice producers in Florida USA. It was dry land rice and as a young girl I remembered my Grandmother still growing rice. She inherited me as a child and she was 80 when this happened. I am thankful for the education I gained being raised by her about the land and plants and natural medicines. May all you do be blessed.

Hello my friend! Once again the change of seasons is stepping through our planet, and I am not happy with our fellow humans, but I look forward to what nature has in store for us all! I see our furry supervisor Gwin looking over the garden for you to do your work in the garden!! Gwinny really loved the fur body rub. After the brush fire removal, those areas are set up for renewal, and we here in New Jersey do a lot of that as well! The cows are back out doing what they do best, and have come out to enjoy the weather has the munch on some hay, neatly placed in front of them to enjoy, they also seem well cared for. Lamp is also out, and about enjoying the spring weather with you! A good place to be amongst all that you are familiar with! Peace!

Good afternoon, great video I enjoyed very much. I live in the state of Florida in the U.S.A. near the Ocala National Forest and have lived here most of my life. I fully understand burning the land or what we call controlled burns. I have seen out of controlled fires burn hundreds of thousands acres of land and it is devastating not only to plant life but to the animal life in the forest. Controlled fires help to prevent this from happening. It is estimated that 98% of wildfires are caused by careless people..

Fewer and fewer framers here in the US Midwest burn their fields now. They use no till method . They have a net work of drains in their fields that carry off rainwater that USED to perc down to replenish ground water or was diverted to ponds, both ways to store water. Seems pretty stupid to me to carry off nutrients that end up causing toxicity in the Gulf...killing fish and causing red tide. Add to that the runoff from the CAFs and we'll, poor stewardship of the land in my opinion.So nice to see your work...someone who in TRUTH loves his very dirt and respects it.
