Just a video post showing and telling about my newest acquisition, a 1935 Gibson L-12. Check out www.campusfive.com and the swing guitar blog at www.campusfive.com/swingguitarblog
Wonderful guitar and brilliant playing...U sir have just inspired me to get my 1938 Epiphone Zenith out of storage..Having watched a few of your video's/lessons..I feel this old dog is ready to learn some new tricks :) Thank you and keep up the great work John!
Great looking guitar and I love that old style tone! Take care of that babe, you will be very hard pressed to find another in that good of shape. ~Cheers!
Too much bla-bla but fortunately few seconds of playing when we can hear and appreciate the fantastic sound of this guitar .Incredibly powerful and delivering the quintescence of acoustic archtop tone .Curious to know how much is the estimation for such an instrument ?
Too much "...bla-bla..."? Not really, give another listen, absorb some more of the great insight and info he shares, and then should you come across another L12, you'll have a better chance of assessing it's qualities and build, and enhancing your playing enjoyment.
