I have a Theradome helmet, bought it back in 2013 when they were just a startup. Unlike the helmet experience you had, I find my Theradome really comfortable, it has 80 lasers and you don’t have to move it around your head during a treatment like this headband. It’s so light I forget I have it on. It’s made my hair fuller and filled in the really thin spots, so I found the expense worth it. I use it twice a week now for maintenance, it’s still going strong after 6 years. The quality is definitely there.

A LT I’m 31 and after a baby my hair loss increased a lot. I saw a derma for it and what she recommended was pretty good which was prescribed for 3-4 months only. Now baby is 1 yr, hair loss is very bad, I’m oiling my hair but I think it’s stress and my family has history of hair thinning. I’m very confused between the Theradome and the hairmax. From what I understand, isn’t the hairmax better to be able to use on the back of ur head as compared to a helmet style, which only covers the top part of ur scalp?? I really hope u reply....thank you!

I have been using the Hairmax 41 for 6 months as well and have had amazing results. I am 53 and had seriously began to have a receding hairline. It takes 3 minutes to do a cycle, about every other day. I got the scratch and dent cheaper model that was available at the time (although nothing appeared wrong with it). Most beauty things I try do not work. I am so pleased. I really appreciate your videos and think you do a great job of fairly reviewing everything. It is quite money and disappointment saving to watch your videos. Thanks so much Angie!

Hi, Angie. I have been using the headband since August. I have noticed the same initial results. Hair is starting to grow back in those areas slowly but surely. The thing that I have noticed the most is that overall my hair is growing crazy fast, almost to the point of being annoying. I get it cut and then I feel it is quickly back to the same length again. I was hoping to see less hair falling out, but that has not happened. I have a couple more months to decide if I want to return it. I am glad to see that you are having more or less the same results. Thanks!

I was in the middle of watching this video, when my 12 year old son started watching over my shoulder. After a couple of minutes, he said, "She's really pretty. She doesn't need that thing."
I said, "Well sometimes, after menopause, our hormones cause our hair to thin out. She was testing this to see if it works to regrow it."
    "Menopause?! How old is she?"

Maybe one day I will shell out the money for the laser headband. I’m hoping at some point the technology becomes less expensive. For now I will stick with Nioxin. I don’t mind it. It doesn’t give my hair any kind of a weird greasy feel. Once it dries my hair is just like normal. My hair was thinning at the widows peak area. It’s almost totally grown back after two months of using it. I just put it on when I do my skincare morning and night. So it makes it easy to do because I just keep it as a part of my skin care regimen. You start noticing the baby hairs growing back pretty quickly too. I apply at the widows peak in the front of my head where my bangs seem a little bit thinner.

Lisa Locke - I just bought the Nioxin shampoo and conditioner (No. 1 for fine hair), but I haven't tried it yet. I should probably get the foam as well. Apparently, Nioxin has reformulated their shampoo and conditioners. The packaging is also a little different. Some people are saying the new formula is not as good as the old one. Have you tried the new formula yet? I'm just curious if you've noticed any difference. Thanks!

I started with biotin and a hair/skin/nail supplements and these helped to "lessen" the hair loss but I didn't experience hair regrowth. Then I started using the Bosley hair comb (which cost me about $450 about two years ago). Let me tell you, my hair loss has virtually STOPPED. Maybe a few hairs every time I wash it but minimal. My hair also feels A LOT fuller, which indicates regrowth. My hair is thin by nature. Always has been, but this is the closest I've come to what my hair looked and felt like when I was a teenager. I still take the supplements anyway.

I have used it myself for a year or so now and had started seeing good results in my skin. However I recently started shedding a lot of hair especially around my hairline and started researching possible causes. There appears to be a strong link between overdose of vitamin a and hair loss and a doctor has now confirmed that this is indeed the case. I just wanted to make you aware so you could maybe research it for yourself.

When I started using Retin A several years ago I noticed a distinct hairloss, around my face and also in thickness throughout my scalp. Checked with my doctor who wasnt sure if there was a relationship to Retin A so did some research online and yes there are studies which indicate Retin A can cause due to the turnover being excelerated as with skin turnover.. In particular my brows thinned badly. Stopped Retin A for a year or so but have restarted due to my dissatisfaction with my skin, and yes thinning obvious again. I feel hairloss is a trade off for nicer skin. Try to use Retin A only couple of times per week though and will assess results over next year or so.

I just went to my dermatologist for hair loss and she said to do either rogaine or laser. I have been on rogaine for a week. It makes my hair greasy, not a big fan. Does the laser comb work as good as the laser band? What is the difference? I cannot see a big difference in your hair from pics, but do not see balding on sides of your head, like mine.

I've found the foam to be so much better, it almost acts like a dry shampoo. Tip - don't squirt in into the cap because you can't get it out (they say half cap as dose). I use a bit round the temples and squirt a small amount directly along that widening parting and on to the crown in the evening. In the morning it looks fine or you can just shower and wash it out without worrying and do it again before you sleep. I have also been using Nioxin shampoo which is great for making the most of what hair you have left.

I use Rogaine after washing my hair while still damp before bed. I massage in while hair is damp and it doesn't make my hair look oily or funky because it dries as my hair dries. And Rogaine does actually work.

Hi Angie I was wondering if you've ever taken internal collagen? I take 2 scoops a day and the chronic knee pain that used to need pain killers is completely gone.. I've also heard though that people say it helps grow hair and even grow back colored hair if you have greys. Also there was a study that it can reduce wrinkles. I already have thick hair and not much for wrinkles so I haven't noticed that but my nails have grown in much whiter and stronger and I normally like to keep them cut short but they need clipping much more frequently.. obviously these results take months but since you review things after taking them for months maybe you can do a review on collagen? I don't find the brand matters I just bought what's cheapest but some dissolve better in my coffee which is when I take it

Ang', you have the perfect head shape for putting your hair up. That's the most important. I wouldn't worry about the rest. I always found that it made you look great, but you are right, it didn't happen often that we have seen you with hair up. For the life of me, I wouldn't have noticed the hair situation, if you hadn't pointed it out. We see ourselves in a totally different light than others see us. I ordered NEEM OIL, by far the best for Hair Growth, alongside with BLACK SEED OIL, which cures everything except death. Phenomenal oils. It goes without saying that consistency is key. I do have clip-ins now which makes the hair fuller/longer for an event. First time I try it. Love it! xx..

Hello Ladies - Those of us who always had soft 'baby hair', don't really grasp the difference. 'Fine' thin hair is just something we always had to deal with but there is so much one can do. When I invested in it, neighbours walked me by after a few weeks. That's how much the body/face rejuvenated itself. In a matter of weeks I was a new person. Literally. I lost my beloved Grandfather in 2012 and thought this is the time to do some extra care. I ordered *Black Seed Oil* and of course I had *Coconut Oil.* I took it internally as well as used a drop or two on the scalp. Back then I used Coconut Oil religiously as a treatment (every Saturday morning) on my hair/scalp and just mixed in a few drops of BSO in it. I am telling you first hand that my hair became stronger, no fall out and shined like a star. I was consistent, kept going for approx. 2 months then every two three weeks for 6 months. I also took supplements daily! For the first time in my life I was consistent, didn't just buy vitamins and after a week forgot about them. I was taking these for a YEAR AND A HALF, one a day: *Multi-Vitamin with zink, D3, B12, Collagen, VitE, VitA, Phytoceramide and VitC* (in my cooled down green tea). Quite an investment I must add but after a while your body lets you know what you need and what you may leave out. I also started running (so sweating helps tremendously) and ate in harmony with the 3 Body Cycles.
      • THE 3 BODY CYCLES - 8 hour cycle each:
      1) Elimination (of body wastes and food debris) 4am-12pm
      2) Appropriation (eating and digestion)12pm-8pm
      3) Assimilation (absorption and use) 8pm-4am
We go through these cycles every 24 hours. Every single body. No exceptions. If you eat accordingly - meaning don't consume while the body is in elimination, it defeats the purpose - then you are always in allowing = Allowing the body to regenerate itself. That affects the hair as well of course. These days they call this: intermittent fasting. Back then I didn't know it had a name or that it was a "thing". I kind of always leaned towards eating this way so it wasn't new to me. Hot Lemon Water in the morning, then a smoothie, I did have my morning cappuccino (so didn't deprive myself), then a salad or an avocado with some crackers, then a fruit salad, then dinner. Dinner was the lightest (some protein shake or another salad). Taking vitamins also forces you to drink more water naturally so that was a part of the deal, meaning you'll eat much less.
In 2015/16 I invested in different oils and I only wish I had started sooner. With oily skin & fine hair, you aren't really thrilled when hearing that you have to apply oil on yourself so I never really was interested. The use of oils however changed my life. I use a mix to remove make-up as well. I used *Rosehip Oil* as my EYE night-cream for 6 months and haven't lost an eyelash ever since. I used *Argan Oil* on the scalp (just a drop to massage under the hair, all over the head), but not weekly like in 2012/13, just when I remembered. Then I got so excited last year that I ordered: *TAMANU OIL, NEEM OIL, MARULA OIL, CASTOR OIL* to try them all out. I wish I had been as consistent as I used to be but none the less, you will see baby hairs growing!!!! I did the same routine, mixing Coconut Oil with a few drops of Neem. Even with less discipline, I did see results rather quick but as I say I didn't keep going.
I do fasting twice a year and have a Green Clay cuur to 'regenarate' organs once a year for three weeks. Truth be told, the body doesn't really need "help" from us, - it is a Mighty Ship - but it does appreciate any pause from bad foods/cappuccino or alcohol if you drink. I personally don't drink, don't smoke, never have so that has an youthful effect on the body as the years go by. You will reap the benefits. X

      @08Stella Před 5 lety +2

The most important part is however, that you realize the Golden Principle: MIND OVER MATTER, ever time. WHERE THE MIND GOES, THE BODY HAS TO. With other words, your mind is not in your body, it is it your body that is in your mind. You can play it as you wish simply by shifting focus (NOT wanting to control it). The Mainstream Media knows AND uses this principle with every advertisement that we are bombarded with. It is called: *Conditioning Of The Mind.* When they tell you that "as you age, your hair gets thinner", they implement an IDEA that it does. It is merely a Thought Form at first! The moment enough ppl join that thought (that Thought Form on that frequency), the Collective Mind starts to live by it and the hair DOES seem to appear less thick. See what I'm getting at? They condition you without you even noticing it. It's the Egoic Mind that falls for it. However, the moment you realize this, you can turn it back around and not buy into it. You can use mantras, intentional self-talk or just by focusing on something else. Any of them work. The body reacts happily to any good change. It is the Mind that will give you grief. It wants its 'fix' and it will nag you if you don't give it. The body will thrive on good food, good-focused-attention and the result will soon be visible, while the mind will quiet down, fade away as the days go by... but it'll take you a minute. You just keep going, don't buy into the thought patterns. Say instead, my hair is getting stronger, fuller, healthier OR, just shift the focus towards something that you feel good about. As I said, either will work. Good luck everyone! STELLA.. xx..

Yes, I agree, the best is to order OILS from the country of origin. I had mine made by a Marroccan family, as a family business. I hardly ever order the 'mainstream' producst. I go straight to the source, which means that nothing is taken out of the oils, all properties are left in. Argan Oil I can even sprinkle on my salad, that's how it should be.. 1. Cold Pressed 2. Organic 3. Extra Virgin. This is the only way that it delivers the promised results with every single oil. xx..

But about a year ago my hair started changing and now its the Consistancy of straw like brittle and thin just bad. So much falls out on a daily basis I afraid of what it will look like 6 months from now so I'm willing to spend the money ( payment plan fingers crossed lol) . I went to the doc she didn't find any thing wrong after many years so I'm chalking it up to me being 38 I guess.
