- After the Kremlin video I got some requests for one of the original Battleships, the T10 USS Montana. While this ship lacks overmatch as it only carries 406mm guns, it does not mean it can't punish ships underestimating it. As the enemy team found out. My recommended build is at the end as usual.

just realize that Flamu and his teammate in Stalingrad both score First Blood and Devastating Strike at the same time, good time to start the video
2 first blood, 3 devs strike from flamu, another one from the stalingrad and 2 more from the enemy shima, in total 6 dev strike and 2 first blood in one match. Interesting to say at least.

I did like the exploding Smolensk though. I guess only Finns can massacre the balance like that.

Because 7km is (against most CLs and CAs) too short a range to not overpen the citadel.

I devstruck a Smolensk in my Venezia with the spotter plane from max range and was called a cheating piece of shit hacker 😂 when I said he was retarded for sitting in smoke broadside like a fucking idiot i was the one that got chat banned 😂😂😂

US BB's have those amazing, moments when their dispersion is low, and you aim is perfect and BOOM - triple citadel. Massachusetts, Montana, Iowa, Miss, Ohio....Great stuff.

I got really shouted at by an enemy sinop, for citadelling them even when they were angled. Funny thing is, my Queen Elizabeth had only gotten like 6 pens, no citadels
Sinop's are trash anyway I've I've citadeled one to death with my Baltimore.

Two observations: 1) you know you are good when you accused of hacking
2) Monty is still great, perhaps a high skill floor than other t10 BBs, but you can still get spectacular results.

Lets keep sailing straight, show broadside, no dodging and accuse players of cheating when getting deleted instantly. Best logic there is.
Unlocked the Montana about 2 weeks ago and the second or third salvo of my first match, I caught a Minotaur reversing around an island full broadside at about 17km. Got a triple cit, 2-3 other penetrations and one Minotaur that went from full health to deleted in a second.

it is not that good ... one game like this doesnt change anything. It got ramping up overmatch problems against icebreaker ships and American CA line. Shells are slow so long range salvos are at best questionable and pushing into HE / SAP meta aint fun. It is Kremlin ...whole tier lower. Well not exactly same ships but in performance that is what it is.

In a sniper bote like Montana, Thunderer, or even Slava. Is it still better to take a central position in the map or to flank(Cross firing)? I always find myself more comfortable in a flanking position then going central.

but yea I have to admit luigi sansonetti perks adds more tools to make your italian cruiser game much easier
Keep at it. Venezia is extremely strong and this season at least. very good in cb:s and those perks don't work there. I personally couldn't handle Amalfi or Brindi and free xp to it, but if you can suffer through totally worth it. Just some thoughts from a random :)

Ready to admit Montana is not all that bad yet Flumy? I really don't think it's ever been all that power-crept or underpowered compared to the likes of GK or Repub. Incredible long-range accuracy, 12-gun broadside, rather strong health pool, speed and armor makes for a pretty damn good combo! Of course it's going to look pretty bad compared to Kreml, but that thing is honestly fucking tier 11.
Kremlin is Tier 11 when at close range. But it has no very long range cause it can't shoot more than 24.5km.

Shell Velocity of Slava is faster and Way more Tanky than Montana even though the HP are pretty much the same.
Slava guns isn't just a beefier and more accurate Kremlin. ITS THE HAND OF GOD!
