Carol, why don't you try filling the cracks with mounting foam first and then filling them with plaster? So the gap will be really blocked and not just masked, and the plaster will lie more securely! Thanks for the video, greetings from Russia!)

Generally -4 is a lovely mild winter day here! lol. Mind you, I have a well insulated home with central heating! The staircase is going to be lovely. I am really looking forward to it. Welcome back. Here in Kansas USA it is 1⁰ F w/a -18⁰F wind chill. We had a 6" snow last week and altho some drifted, most stayed grounded. Just a bit on the cool side. I love watching your work from the prep of each bit of improvement to the completed work. The Chateau is a work of art. Stay warm.

Carol has new red running👟👟 shoes so I think she's planning on sprinting up and down the stairs😂 often painting and scraping. The stairs r in excellent shape in Chateau. It was great to see Carol filling small wall areas and Adrian resetting the wall stair cracks🎉

Hope you had a wonderful time on your vacation. It's very warm and humid in Jamaica so I hope it wasn't too much of a shock going back to France with the cold temperatures. It's very cold here in Tn in America with temperatures around 9 degrees tonight with about 6 inches of snow on the ground. Totally empathize with you both on this one. I'm in Canada and it's been ridiculously cold these past few days. I'm beyond impressed every time Adrian has to go up on that roof and I don't even have a fear of heights! The main staircase is coming along beautifully. I think Carole made the right call with painting the sides white. It already looks so nice! There's still so much to do but what a difference already.
