You probably should have seen it coming because Georgia was the most consistent, dominant team in the nation all year. Don't let the smooth taste of that first Bama loss fool you.

The bad thing is that Bryce had a play similar to Stetson's fumble that was a scoop and score and got called back because they ruled it a forward pass. If you watch that Stetson fumble his arm was moving forward and the ball went straight up in the air. But the defense did what they did all season long. Held the offense to one TD. The only time they didn't get that stat was in the SEC Championship.
I do remember that play definitely thought they were both forwards pass but Your right at the end of the day it was the Georgia defense that won that game.

Where Stetson Bennett is from is Blackshear in Pierce County Georgia down in south Georgia near Valdosta in that little area down there! He didn't have any offers from any power five conferences he was a walk-on at Georgia in 2017. When the season was over he transferred and went to Junior College in Mississippi and came back in 2019 and was third on the depth chart behind Deshawn Mathis and Jake Fromm! In 2020 he was fourth on the depth chart behind Deshawn Mathis JT Daniels and Jamie Newman Jamie Newman left to prepare for the draft That season and jt wasn't ready yet because he was coming of tearing his ACL the previous season at USC! Deshawn started the first quarter but was immediately replaced by Stetson since 2020 was the covid season the SEC chose to play a 10 game season! He played the first 6 games and went 4 and 2 losing to Alabama and Florida then Jt comes back we win the next 4 games and win The Chick fil a peach bowl against Cincinnati on a last second field goal! Then coming into the 2021 season Stetson was buried third on the Qb depth chart behind Carson Beck and Jt Daniels. Then comes the first game against Clemson Jt gets hurt in that game. Next game against UAB all week everybody thought it was going to be Carson starting but Kirby goes with Stetson and the rest is history Stetson proceeded to win the next 11 games and clinch Georgia's first undefeated season since 1982! Georgia set Sec records this season for margin of victory over their SEC East opponents they beat their opponents by an average of 30 points or more in all 8 games beating Vanderbilt 63-0 and the next week beat number 7 ranked Arkansas 37-0 with College Gameday here in Athens that day! They'll make a movie about what Stephen did because he was a walk-on he wasn't supposed to do that he was buried third on the depth chart and went on to win a National Championship! Going to be a great Disney movie or Hollywood movie if they choose to get involved but either way the man is going to get paid for this story!
Dude Stetson Bennett is an inch taller than Brice. He also runs like be the wind. I gave you a thumbs up. It was an ok reaction. UGA is my team no matter what color our QB is. Maybe Brice won't be a choker next year. Stetson Bennett is clutch and we are lucky to have our walk on juco QB.

Uga had to beat bama and the refs. I'm a huge UGA fan and was so happy the streak was broken! Stetson has the heart of a lion! Would make a great movie, jr college to walk on the 4th on the depth chart. That's the mailman

Cool reaction - one little point, you mentioned it had been a while since another SEC team besides Alabama won the title, but LSU won in 2019.

They literally cut to field goals in these highlights they don’t show the defenses or nothing whoever’s job it was to create them needs to fired immediately.

Mr. Announcer, Stetson Bennett is a SEC Champion against LSU and Back to Back National Championship's! The Georgia Bulldog's beat Alabama in the first Championship and then beat TCU in the second Championship. Stetson Bennett is a Great quarterback!!! Who are you sir? They gave the Hesiman Trophy to the "WRONG" quarterback, Stetson Bennett should have gotten both Hesiman's! Both times the hesiman went to "WRONG" quarterbacks! Stetson Bennett was ROBED both times!!!!
