For anyone wondering, uncanny valley is a phenomenon in which something looks nearly human but somethings a bit off, you can just tell. This occurs so much with semi realistic art, forensic art, dolls, robots, mannequins, and more! There's many theories as to why this occurs, but my favorite is that the uncanny valley is an obsolete instinct that our ancestors used to identify human and what's not human. So there might have been some weird creatures that tried to imitate humans so we developed the uncanny valley so we could tell if they're human or not!

The eerie feeling we get when we see modern humanoid robots is the negative drop in the graph that is uncanny “valley”. People in this trend are trying to look like human- like robots.
