I check this video out a bunch each year. she was incredible in this performance. love her voice from an emotional level as well as a tonal and technical level. i really dig when she goes into her vibrato. her voice gets more narrow with her spectacular vibrato and intensity. it's a very unique sound and delivery. also, her intimate vibe where you feel like she's almost whispering in your ear has serious impact and is so visceral.

Nobody sings that song in these competitions. She made it her own! The quality of the performance. Her beauty, her innocence. It was incredible.
