This audition isn’t talked about enough, hands down one of the best performances ever. Not even for her age but for ANYONE! One of the biggest songs in the world and she killed it, in 2021 im still in awe after my 109774th time watching

I am still rewatching this in 2023. Literally the most underrated audition ever. And Simon’s humbling reminder to never doubt a young girl with a big voice and a bigger dream (like he doubted JHud on Idol). AMAZING JOB SARAH👏🏻
He had to eat crow. He was the 1st guest on her show. He claimed when he saw the song choice the show had chose was country he knew then she would struggle. It is a reality show. The winner was already picked before the show started like all reality shows. It enabled Jennifer to put her name out there and she ran with it.

In the UK their education system is different. She's in the right year for her age. But she definitely looks smart tbh

year 11 isn't equivalent to grade 11 but in the UK you do your GCSE's in year 11 so you're 15/16 years old and then if you go to 6th form/collage you can study A Levels for 2 years which is the qualifications that get you into university and you take those exams at 17/18 years old.

Pure raw talent. She sang her heart out and controlled every note that came out of her mouth.
When the judges let a contestant sing an entire song it's special. Never have i seen a complete song at an audition before.
This by far was the best natural performance I have ever witnessed. I must have watched this set 1000 times or more. She was perfect.

I've watched this audition maybe 100 times. Sarah Ikumu should be a household name. She has a golden gift of singing straight from the heavens. Record producers have let her down by not promoting her. They've set a once in a lifetime pearl on the shelf. There's none better than Sarah.

100% best vocalist this shows ever seen. The only worry I have is that there aren’t enough songs written that will allow her vocals to be UNLEASHED. Someone will have to write songs created specifically for her abilities. Like the greats! Bc she is definitely already one of that class.

Awesome voice. For a 15 year old she did great work, not saying that 15 year olds don't have talent. This was great. Her parents' proud moments with their daughter was award winning, I am right there with her as I was wishing her the best as I watch this. Love her voice and I wish all the best for her in life, great work and she deserves all the success that she can get.

I watch Sarah perform This Song over and over again, MANY times and will continue watching it. This young girl brought tears to my eyes, every time because she is so talented. Why she did not win remains a mystery to me. The only thing g I can come up with is that God had even bigger plans for her. I feel that she definitely has what IT TAKES TO BECOME A BROADWAY MUSICAL STAR !!!
