The USA women have been impressive at the 8 World Cups ever played...there have been only 8 Women's World Cups played and they've never finished below 3rd place...and they've won the last 2 consecutive World Cups.
    1991 - Won
    1995 - 3rd
    1999 - Won
    2003 - 3rd
    2007 - 3rd
    2011 - 2nd
    2015 - Won
    2019 - Won
Other than in 2007, the team that defeated the USA would eventually go on to win the World Cup. In 1995, Norway def. USA in the SFs and ended up winning the title. In 2003, Germany def USA in the SFs and ended up winning the title. And in 2011, Japan def USA in the final to win the title.
PS - The last time the USA women's team lost a match at the World Cup was in 2011 in the final to Japan. In 2015, they won 6 of the 7 matches they played and the other match ended in a 0-0 draw with the Sweden. In 2019, they won all 7 of their matches.

@@----1a213 Of course. You can't compare males and females. That's like putting a man through the pain of child birth...he'd probably have a heart attack and die 'cause we're just built differently biologically.
All you're telling me is that the men's USA team can only win if they play against women. Wow, that's so impressive! #sarcasm
The bottom line is that the men's USA soccer team loses to the majority of the men's teams that they play...period. Meanwhile, the women's USA soccer team dominates the VAST majority of the women's teams they play...period.
