How to Draw a Cinnamon Roll

- For the first day of Inktober 2023 I created this little cluster of spiral forms, so for this tutorial I decided to show you how I draw these silly cinnamon roll doodles. I also show you how to use color pencils to accent the dimensional aspect of the drawing. I hope you have fun and enjoy your time doodling!

Hi I do love your patterns and especially the 3d way of them . Today I made a card for my daughter in law, she crochets a lot and likes elephants. So I crocheted a square and studied the shapes in the crochet. I then drew it black on white, after shading with coloured pencils it looked quite real , almost trompe l'oeil. Maybe I will try a drawing of a knitted teddy next. This all started when I found your patterns, thank you . Kathy

I'm afraid I'm going for #noprompt inktober... with no prompts 😅. The last two years I tried to use them I just ended up quitting halfway.
The other day I started working on the video you made with the circle that had circles in it but then on the edges had flattened circles for dimension. I still need a lot of practice. 😊

Hi Miss Betsi, I too decided to participate in inktober this year; I can tell you, ink is definitely stepping out of my comfort zone. I feel like I'm making art if would have made in 5th grade with ink. BUT, I am trying. This is another awesome one from you, thanks for sharing!
