- In this video I share you a strange organic design that came to me all of a sudden while I experimented in my art journal. It is such a wonderful feeling when something unique comes to life on the page.

That is a ghost party for me 🤣Looking like ghosts holding hands. Absolutly beautiful!
Reminds me neurons, but the example you drew today almost looks like a caterpillar. Then again, it could be amoebas... maybe slime mold. Love that there are so many possible interpretations ❤
I agree. They do look like neurons . Now that you mention it, that makes me want to try a design that mimics neurons and synapses.
Definitely connective tissue of some kind. Love it.
I think you hit the jackpot! This is so beautiful. You can see it many different ways just as you explained - cobwebs, neurons, etc. What a happy accident! How about "Webby" for a name?
I like that for a name. Thank you.
What a talent! I love your art:) In response to what I see hits close to home. A poor bone density report.
neurons synapsing love the concept. have been showing these to my grandchildren. they love them too, thank you
Wow. Thank you so much! I’m glad you’re enjoying them.
Bone Marrow is the first thing that came to my mind. Have you ever seen an old chicken bone, crack it open after it's dried out and look at it. It looks fibrous like that.
Definitely. like the cross sections of old bone, like when someone gets osteoporosis. 🤔
Very organic. It looks to me like an artist's interpretation of a double helix either winding or unwinding. I'm following your instructions but on black paper. So far it just looks weird but it is a first draft. :) Thanks for the videos.
I’m glad you’re experimenting with it 😊. A little practice and I’m sure you’ll stumble upon some nice results.
this is still one of my favorite patterns!! I see cobwebs, or synapses or dancing bats!!
I’m glad you like it. its a fun one to play with.
Unsticking Glue. Try White Ink on Black paper.👍
So cool! I incorporated in a doodle and it looks great.
The design got my attention, I see cobwebs as well. It's really great.❤
I hope you are well, forgive my rudeness.❤
Enjoy your videos, I often rewind so I can listen to you talk while I follow along. Thank you for making these videos. I hope you and your dog are well.❤
I love this web/cell type shape!
I’m glad you like it. It was such a pleasant discovery and a lot of fun to draw.
This is very cool!
Looks fantastic got me in the mood to try one out .
Excellent! I hope you have fun.
Sci fi fan here … definitely an alien life form! And beautiful too.
Thanks. 😊 I absolutely love scifi too. So many fun things to draw (and read).
I love that design! Well done for creating it. At first I saw biological things but then it changed into a kind of bubble gum material that has been stretched so much it has torn. I will enjoy trying it!
Thank you! 😊 It does look pretty stretchy.
Really neat.
That is so very cool and just the sort of thing I've been looking for. Thank you for sharing this one!!!
Glad you like it!
Just beyond awesome, Miss Betsi!!!
Thank you so much!!
Organic web for a name. Pinky finger you, coming across your post by accident 😅.
Love it!!!!!!
That’s a good contender for a name. Thank you.
Im obsessed with this one! Going to try it right now.
Have fun! 💙💕💙
super job!!! so many things can be seen in it. love your channel
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the vids 💙💙💙
Oh that’s cool! Nice work 😊
Thanks! 😄
So cool,…..💕
I absolutely LOVE this! It could be so many things. For some reason it reminds me of looking for spotted salamanders as a child. Amazing what simple things can spark the best memories. So happy I found your channel! You got me drawing again! Thank you!
So true!
Agree, spiderwebs but also some sticky substance. No matter what, it’s very organic and very interesting. I will save and try it soon. Thanks for sharing. I think I’m going to incorporate some of your style in an art nouveau sort of way. Love curves and curleques.
That sounds like a great meshing of styles. ☺️
I'm definitely going to give this one a try 😍
Got to love happy accidents trying new things 🙏
Love the happy accidents 😌
❤😊
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
Nice piece of art. Love following you. Starting to experiment with some of your ideas.
Awesome! Thank you!
So fun to watch it come together. I'll have to give this a try. TFS
Thank you 💜💙💜
Hey Miss Betsi! This video is so mesmerizing and relaxing. Yes, I definitely see some biological shapes. I love the composition of the original in your sketchbook book!
Thank you so much!
Swiss 🧀 cobwebs. I’m inspired to try out your cool pattern creation ✨👌🏽
Excellent! It does a bit like cobwebs.
I love this!! It looks like sticky alien mucous. 😂😅 also looks sort of cob webby. But I am definitely going to try this!!!
Very cool!
Thanks 💜
Hello Betsy, this is a very interesting pattern that can trigger lots of ideas for drawings! I can see lots of different things in this pattern like some kind of fabric seen under the microscope or a cosmic sieve (😮!!!) or a joyful alien line dance with their arms in the air 😂. Ok I better stop here...
You have an excellent imagination 😊. I love it!
👍
What a stunner. You might check out Tomas Padros' tangle called Membranart...yours is very different yet both are so unique. Perhaps 'neuronic' if it isn't already taken...
Thank you. I'll check it out. 💜🙂💜
Okay well that looks way easier than it was. 😊 Mine didn't turn out like yours. I'm going to keep practicing. Yours looks like it has "pointed" edges where mine were more "gum drop" looking 🤣🤣. I'm definitely a work in progress...but it's so much FUN!!!!
Sometimes those little differences are what give it a new character 😊. It can be a good thing.
It reminds me of static electricity!
That’s a good one. It makes me think of that little zap.
interesting!
Cells and I love ti
I see bone marrow, dry :) Interesting, thank you for share
Thanks for visiting
Love your art! I see bone Marrow, and osteopenia!!!
It does look like that ☺️
Very cool. Reminds me of muscle tissue
That’s right. 😊 It does look very sinewy.
Makes me think of mycelium, you know the huge part of a fungus that grows underground!
Yes! I know exactly what you’re referring to. I’ve been wanting to draw something like mycelium, this is a good reminder. I’ll see what I can come up with.
I need to start a collections for all these patterns too, they are all amazing. Do you have another sketch book for patterns?
I don’t have one specifically for patterns right now. I just tend to look through all my old journals to find little pieces here and there that spark new ideas.
Awesome... What kind of pen you use?
Make it pink instead of white and you have sticky bubble gum
You’re totally right. Like when you pull away your shoe and the melted gum stretches.
❤I will do this.I see tissue being stretched until holes form.
True true ☺️
Reminds me of bone marrow
I'll have to try this one.. Very cool. What is it? Someting going on in our body.. nervs maybe? (1 hour later: NOW I know what it reminds me to. A carnivorous plant. Had to google this word, so I hope you know what I mean 😉)
I like that! It looks like it’s going to ask Seymour to feed it.
I see bone marrow!
Well! I have some nice black paper…I’ve been thinking last couple of days, I wonder if I could work in white pen on there. But couldn’t envisage a pattern. Then I saw this, and thought it was white on black! I’m not sure if the white pen I have will be opaque enough, I need to try. But I have some ideas now of how it might look. Love this pattern, makes me think of bone or nerve cells 😊
That might turn out to look really nice with a semi-transparent white on a black paper, it might look more gossamer or lace-like 💜
@@betsi_jae Ooh, yes! 😊👍
Oh my gosh 🌟 I love this... Imagine this one filled with nothing other than stipple. Reaching for my art journal right now...
Ms.Betsy, hello,I tried your happy accident drawing,3 different times..to no avail, wanted to tell others to really notice the tiny space left between each arch,so freakin important, and wanted to ask you if you then went on to color the entire page around it black, also to ask any good white papered art journals..still practicing, love your work
Once I finished I did fill in any remaining spaces black. You could also add more doodles if you wanted to. As far as journals, I don't have any I can recommend since I make my own. In a few weeks I will be offering some for sale on my website and I will also share my method for making them in case you would like to make your own.
@@betsi_jae thanks for the reply..will definitely buy one of your handmade journals and would also love to make my own💕🤗
Is this the same pattern that you said that you like in day 9 of your journal post 3 days ago?
You have a very sharp eye. This has some similarities to it, but it’s different. Mainly the difference lies in the execution. When I recreate patterns from my 100-day project I promise I will state clearly which page it came from 😊.
Hope to see how you did the background - those lines from day 19. And there is also another one like seawaves. Those are my favourite. Beauty really lies in the eyes of the beholder
Swiss cheese
Beautiful it looks like a DNA strain
I can see the resemblance, yes.
Hope I’m not being insulting but I see mucus. Love the design just not a fan of mucus. Lol
