    That Hagibis display is probably the most practical. I feel like it gives you just enough slots so that it's not overwhelming.

      Yep and no wasted space from sd cards. These displays will be used in my collection for sure.

    Yeah, I've never needed more then one micro SD card for my Switch either. If I find that I'm running out of space, I'll just purchase a bigger size or delete stuff to make room. Currently rocking a 512GB micro SD that's serving my needs just fine! Although, it probably helps that when it comes to most Switch physical games at least, the entire game is on the card so I guess that helps save some space too lol!
    Great stuff as always man!👍

    The only game I have a separate SD card for is breath of the wild currently.
    If it was up to me I would have an SD card specifically for each game as I do not trust the cloud saves.
    But I can backup my SD card as many times as I want I can't backup my cloud save and the event of something happening with Nintendo servers being hacked or fried or whatever and me losing all of my save data which if anybody remembers was once a real big issue that happened with Xbox before.
    Some people just put too much time and too much effort into a game to have their game data just up and disappear due to some companies fault

    Wouldnt magnets be bad for the carts? , being so close, really like the design,

    • @DiskCart
      @DiskCart  Před 2 lety +1

      Nope Ninendo switch carts from what I understand shouldn't be harmed by magnets even if you put them directly on them. They are flash memory based and that isn't effected. Its actually becoming harder to find things that are hurt by magnets in modern gaming. Id think HDD drives would be still effected but thats way less prevalent now.

    Hagabis would be a 100 if they didn't engrave the name as part of the display. Big facepalm. Maybe they can revamp it to engrave it on the bottom or top instead so it isn't so distracting.

  • @chuckrichardson83

    Stop calling it a cartridge... its an HuCard.... which was basically an old form of an SD card for the PC engine and extremely older tech like 10 yr old digital cameras and such....
    it's essentially a closed ROM memory card for a computer that can't be Rewritten that when you plug it into your switches tablet which is really all that it is it automatically reloads the game that was saved on that memory card onto the system's built-in emulator.
    They are nothing but piles of plastic that just wind up accumulating taking up a shit ton of space that is what the main cost of our games are we need to stop with the stupid game cards and stop with the stupid collection and display of the game cards and just go all digital so that we can finally get a true full complete and game and its full Glory not something that was dumb down and washed out to be able to fit on a 32GB memory card.
    Thank God that there's big rumor about Nintendo's next switch console being digital-only for this reason

    • @DiskCart
      @DiskCart  Před 2 lety +1

      You may want to take some time to consult the dictionary definition of what a cartridge is so you don't look like an idiot in more locations. Even a Hucard is a cartridge.. Your welcome.

    • @chuckrichardson83
      @chuckrichardson83 Před 2 lety

      @@DiskCart The HuCard is a ROM cartridge like storage chip in the form of a card, designed by Hudson Soft for NEC's PC-Engine and PC Engine SuperGrafx video game consoles, which premiered in 1987 and 1989, respectively.
      I'm quite familiar but what you consider a game cartridge and what their cartridge is are two different things by definition maybe not by terms of use but by definition
