- Finding a good place to store loose cartridges and discs and keep them safe can be tricky. I was glad to check out the game storage cases from Unikeep and see if they were worth anyone's time. They have cases for Nintendo Switch , DS, 3DS, Wii, Playstation and Xbox. I also streamed the testing of these cases on twitch (Link Below for the channel).

I STREAM over on Twitch! Every Thursday at 1pm I will be checking out a display idea for the next video. On top of that I will have occasional streams with whatever game I happen to be playing. Link to the Twitch channel : Twitch.tv/Disk_Cart
Dude these are a really cool find, we need to design a photoshop template to print a custom label! Great job as always!
Yes there has to be some modding possible here. definitely at least a spine label but figuring something out more professional would be sweet.
Congratulations on you reaching 3K subscribers, it’s been so great to see this awesome channel grow to where it is today and your content has always been top quality. One suggestion if I may ask, I would really love to see you do more unboxing of Collectors Editions, it’s always cool watching someone unbox a CE for the first time. Again congrats on your achievements here on your Channel DiskCart
If they made the art work replaceable like a traditional DVD case then this would be perfect.
Totally agree!
Collection is looking good buddy! Keep up the passion man it really shows. I love the gaming community but as a collector gaming goes to another level. It’s adding a new piece to a collection that I find very addicting.
Thanks for the ideas lad! Currently looking for DS game storage and this really helped!
Always super happy to hear that! Thags the true goal of this channel!
I saw these awhile back and I think it is an awesome idea! Thanks for sharing your thoughts about it.
Heck yeah! Good to see you back at it. Thanks for sharing bud.😀
yeah baby! hope you dudes are headed to too many games again this year I regret not chilling with you dudes more!
Very cool, digging the Switch Games case!
heck yes! more cool products for switch that do their job and I am happy happy happy!
You made some very good points.
Idk why you have so few subs (~3k), you have a great channel
Awesome shirt. And great seeing you again at Magfest! Can’t wait to hang with you next year. Great video.
Right!? I think that will be my goal for every magfest, to leave with one of their shirts every year. Made by fangamer too which I already really love. Thank you!
Great video about storage! That Switch cartridge case is cool. I only have 3 Switch games so far though. Might get something to store games once I buy more games!
@@mystixgemzvods That is a good idea!
Unikeep is a great company, I have modified several of their 20 disc and 5 disc cd Cases and glued in Neoprene foam to make my own custom inserts to make cases for Dreamcast VMUs, my gameboy camera, and several other strange small items. Another thing to look for is their "stamp cases." A stamp case is basically a 14 mm thick DVD case that has no holder for a disc. I have converted 2 of these with a neoprene foam to storage for memory cards for the Gamecube and PS2.
Great video man. I hope to see more soon.
As a side note to Unikeep, if you are interested in my mods to your cases, let me know. I would be happy to share them with no strings attached.
Yes thats a great Idea for sure. I bet they sell the cases alone empty too. Ive always loved the foam storage idea. Its just awesome to see the games perfectly aligned and ready to rock!
Loving the DIY spirit!
Hi ya. I actually am interested in a gamecube memory card case and dreamcast memory card case, can you link a video of the the case you choose and mods you did please
@@dackknight I dont have a video yet, but here are links to the product I used.

Good to see a new video! Do you think you'll do a new video on Amiibo storage/display anytime soon?
Also, it's my birthday today so it was cool to wake up to a new Disk Cart video :]
Hope you had a fantastic birthday!! I do plan another amiibo video and I think it would be great since its been so long since my first amiibo video. I do videos pretty organically so as soon as I get enough Ideas for it you bet I'll get that video going!
I do like that Switch game case; that'd be great to use for traveling with and tucking it, with your games, into a travel bag.
For the loose carts and discs these are pretty great. I use a lot of same cases with false covers but for a space-saver these look to work out so well.
I think the only umbrage I have is the inability to use my own custom art--especially on the spines.
Totally Agree maybe them adding some sort of outer sleeve so i can notate whats in the case or add my own art would be a game changer!
This is exactly what I need, thanks for the video!
Absolutely! You can bet that if I find anything cool in game display or storage it will pop up here in a video! Let me know what you personally think of them once you get them!
Disk Cart I just ordered 2 today after work
@@thenerdcage3292 I expect a detailed review from you then! let me know how your feel or hold up. if they are strong on holding the games or if they fall out etc!
Love the switch case idea
Yes! I hope they keep moving in this direction and maybe we will see gameboy or gba or who knows what!
@@DiskCart that would be cool
Idea for future video, game display ideas for ikea detolf glass cabinets or glass cabinets in general, like risers, back drops, stands etc.
Loving the channel btw 👍
That Switch... Switch case is fantastic.
FANTASTIC is definitely the word!
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I know your thing is mainly display options but would you ever consider doing a topic on video game storage options? I’m interested in some interesting solutions for keeping my games dust free and away from sun light.
I am definitely interested in doing some storage solutions too! let me know what kind of things you are looking to store. It may be a very long time before i make a video on it but it will help me get started
Disk Cart mostly just video game cartridges. NES,SNES,N64 and Genesis mainly. Organization is another factor too.
welcome back!
Thanks very much Pixels always feels good to get a video out!
Nice video. It would be a great idea if they could do storage case for gameboy games I have a few dozen loose gameboy and gameboy advance games like most Collectors do.
I would Buy immediately! I'll definitely let them know. I lkind of assume they may steer clear of getting too retro with their cases but you never know and man that would be sweet!
I just ordered this one Amazon. It’s the best option for me at the moment. There are cases that holds a lot more but the pocket where it goes in, you can’t see the front. Which defeats knowing what you’ll be pulling out.
2 downsides which I see.
1. The hole where you slip your nails in to get the games should be reversed. Since most of us are right handed, it’s a bit of a hassle to go from left to right rather than vice versa.
2. The cover should be a slip cover. For those that want to swap out custom printed covers.
Both a nitpick but it’s just a preference. I also hope the games stays in quite well. Read a few reviews stating the cards fall out quite easy once opened.
Awesome! thanks for leavign the feedback for them! they definitely seemed to read the comments and really take the feedback well.
Nice!
I Have Just One For Now That The Blue And The Red One Just Like Yours Buddy
I bought a case and I didn't realize it was made of aluminum. It has the foam but it it safe to store switch cartridges in it.
Do they offer a disc binder that stores more than 80 disc? I’d need one that stores at least 400.
I need something like this and really want to be excited about them, but the graphic design of the covers is really... not attractive... and the generic text ("My Game Collection", "Trading Card Collection") feels sillier than if there was just no text at all.
I totally get not wanting to pay for logo rights, but has it been suggested to make the inserts swappable so that I can print my own? Would be an instant purchase if I could!
Exactly! I spent a lot of time on their cover art and especially the spines. the spine to me is ultra important if i put this on a shelf. I think they could have a wider target audience for this if they change dup their outer design or like you said made it customizable. What is REALLY awesome is they were all in on all of the feedback. they sent my stream to their whole team and are looking to change some of their designs to fit a more adult audience. In the stream I called them juvenile designs that would target a younger audience. the products are great and In reality ill probably get more regardless but that upgrade would open some doors for sure!
Do binders scratch the disks ?
Can you make a video on how you display a collection of memory cards?
I have 6 dreamcast VMUs, 12 gamecube, 2 ps2, 6 ps1, and a few others, any ideas would help, and i would love to hear any dust-free options as well, thank you for reading
These are what I have found so far, but memory cards are small enough theres plenty of places they will fit. Video on memory cards: czcams.com/video/RGSIljzrmwA/video.html
Now I have a better idea of what to get now. I am having spacing problem in my room to the point that I have to do something. Looking at this would create alot of space in my room. So I may buy a few of these, maybe a couple ps ones, a xbox ver, switch ver, and a wii ver. Problem is, that's alot of plastic to throw away. Any idea what to do with casing?
If you plan to get rid of cases definitely try to either sell them on something like ebay or give them to a collector. Many of us are always trying to find the cases in order to complete games. If you keep them od just store them in a safe place so they dont end up too scratched up.
Question can I put other games in this binder that aren't ps5 or ps4 can I put xbox 360 games in this binder
you bet and if you check uninkeeps site you can also probably find some that are branded for xbox as well. But all disc based games will work well in this . I still use mine almost exclusively because its just too easy to grab a disc if your collection is always nearby in a binder!
Would the disc get scratch or not
I want a case like this for my 3DS, I have about 40-50 games and I’m planning on going to university in September and I’d rather know where all my games are.
I believe Unikeep does make one for the 3DS. Holds 40 games.
I have the newer case that has the foam on both sides for Switch carts and I had to stop using it... sometimes when it opens the carts tend to fall off of one side making a mess.
Well looks like Im going to need to grab one of those to test her out. We were slamming this one from behind to try to get the carts out with no failure, could be the pressure of side two spreading the foam. Thank you for the tip!
Disk Cart not a bad case by any means... I just a minor annoyance once in awhile when all of the carts fall out of the top side when you open it and then you have to re-alphabetize lol
@@super-retro-city absolutely Id hope theyd stay where id put them. I hope theyve fixed that for the double sided version and made it a bit tighter but we shall see ! Cool thing about Unikeep is how interested in feedback they were. I was literally slamming their stuff all over the place on stream and they loved it. was surprised they took the time to watch it.
Disk Cart I always enjoy seeing companies that learn from mistakes and responding to feedback to better their products.
Could this work for GameCube games
I hope they make a PlayStation psp disk case that be great I'd buy one
For a Storage of small Games, it's actually to big imo. Why having a Case that is bigger then the Game Case or even the System?
But yeah, i do't understand why that Nintendo has no offical Game Case for Switch Games already. I got some of the Club Nintendo exklusive Game Cases for 3DS Games and they can hold 18 Games, but have the exact same size as a regular Game Case.
The bigger the better I say. I don’t intend to take this out if the house. Like why would you risk losing a bunch of games?
I like to have my entire collection in one archive. I have 56 Switch physicals at the time. I could easily see myself outgrowing this once it’s all said and done.
GameCube?
Have had two of these for a year and half now an these things suck they constantly push the games out of the slots so when I open them the my games go scattering everywhere.
I wonder why. Any info on how youve used yours would be great. Ive kept mine in a back pack or on a shelf simce they first released. Ill have maybe 1 to 2 games go free if my bag is dropped to hard etc. That being said I keep my house pretty cool and dehumidified. Let me know what your conditions are weather wise and if it happened day 1. Always glad to warn people or even talk to the brand about their quality control. If it was a day one issue you may have gotten a bad batch. I seriously use these every day and to catalogue games that dont have cases.
Also for what type of games!? Forgot to ask that.
@@DiskCart Switch and Ds/3ds. It started happening three months after I bought them or at least that's when I noticed it happening. I to keep them in my backpack as well, Az for weather they are mainly inside in my room I keep around 60 to 70 degrees with about 10 minute trips outside in my car at around 30 degrees in winter and 70 to 80 in summer.
Bro what about android games and tell me best RPG games on Android and please do video about android games. And tell me sekiro like games in nes, PlayStation, n64,etc.and your video is awesome for game ideas dude.
Dress right... Dress! :)
Lol after I said that I was like "no one is going to know what I just said"
Disk Cart I’ve been in the Marines over 16 years and I was a drill instructor as well lol. I started laughing when I heard you say it.
I would have to disagree with you on the TCG binders. I would not use them to store my card collection, unless I don't care about condition. The way it's currently set up, there is no protection from binder dings on your cards. A D-ring binder would be better for protecting your cards from binder dings especially when used with page lifters or something similar. @UniKeepllc
Always good to get more info. What do you mean by binder dings and where would those come from on an enclosed box. Maybe the rings if they were to hit the card overtime? The Dring binder I had since the late 90's did a ton of damage to my childhood cards so i may have to look into the page lifters. the pressure of the angled design of the binder caused damage to the cards on the end due to long term pressure and rubbing overtime even with a high quality plastic insert. The Unkeeps design just has the cards lay flat inside with no added pressure from the case itself. The only damage i would think possible would be if you shook it and the cards closest to the rings dinged against them. definitely let me know more details so I can add it to the description! Thank you!
found an article on it on some of the things to look for. I think this shows what you are talking about : www.ludkinscollectables.com/blog/in-a-bind-what-to-consider-when-choosing-a-binder
Feels like if they Combined the Dring into their current box style binder it would be a lot safer for some of the more hardcore collectors to feel more comfortable with. I will definitely let them know what you said man. unikeep is super into getting that feedback
