- Thanks to some additional testing from @aznvasionsplays Aznvasions
- There's a long-lasting bug since Week 1 where GunCO [Galv. Aptitude] ignores the bonus innate damage buff you get from the 2nd Evolution perk tree.
- Burston Incarnon actually only has 13 base damage on both the Direct Hit and AoE.
Evo 2 gives +42 to both -- however the direct hit from GunCO ignores that +42, and only scales off the original 13 Base DMG.
So 76% of the intended effect of GunCO is missing on Burston Incarnon direct hit and of course does not apply at all to the AoE.
- Math turned out that you never, ever mod GunCO on Burston UNLESS you're running Encumber on your primer, for the additional status effects against Demolishers.
And that barely breaks even on raw damage vs Serration (7 statuses are required for direct hit to match Serration, but doesn't affect AoE and 13 statuses are needed for the optimal DPS to compensate). Again this is only for Disruption otherwise GunCO is really NOT that worth.
- HOWEVER It only pulls ahead on DoT due to GunCO giving +80% status chance, which how much that matters depends on how much additional status chance you have on the build.
You may want to test for build 3 with ranked viral mods. I had a similar thought for my viral heat toxocyst build but after testing unranked viral dual stats vs ranked, the ranked mods always applied more heat procs in the same time frame. The ranked dual stats reduce heat weighting but the status chance made up for it and I averaged about 40 more heat procs in the same 10 seconds. But burston may not be the same case since toxocyst has a very high base status chance.
That weird damage uig also happens on braton incarnon. I don't think it's hitting anything
I've heard gunco take into account the dmg perks if it's multiplicitive

What i learned from this video: don't pick soma😢.
It's... It's like the Felarx, except that was a sleeper with a bad Incarnon. The Soma is already good, & the evolutions make it a lot better, but it's got a wasted incarnon.

@Kenneth Focarino I traded a fragrance riven for my soma one years ago. I knew the Burston was better but I've mailed soma for years so I picked it anyways. I also have a sp viable build on Burston so would've been a good idea there too

I had full intention on going for the soma and burston and even after seeing the reviews I still picked it.
For the issue mentioned where damage numbers are appearing very far away or under the simulacrum ramp, its probably where the damage numbers are originally coded to spawn in the mission tileset before being moved over to be displayed. It seems that one of the damage ticks does not get teleported o the enemy that your shooting and therefore appears far away
oh yeah ive been having that issue as well lately, i thought that there were enemies stuck under the map or something lol
I picked the burston because I was about to get to mastery rank 12 and had all the parts for a prime burston, which I have now done and is now crafting, can't wait for it to be done so I can get my first incarnon weapon!

Luckily, Reset was in the middle of the night here in Germany, so I only returned now from Uni and can still choose my Incarnons 😈
I crafted the burston prime like a year ago and never touched it again. And lucky me it's still there
The weird random dmg numbers popping out of nowhere happened when I shoot the Trumna, too! And I noticed this after the Duviri patch.
I've this bug with vauban 4th too, numbers appear underneath the map
I gotta say the 100% reload from empty synergizes well with the enhanced last burst. You just gotta remember to not compulsively reload the thing.
It’s bugged atm so you get the reload buff all the time
Good thing I waited lmao. I went Burston and Vasto. Vasto just because I got a Riven and I enjoy the revolver.

Thank God the burston ended up on your radar. I couldn't stand the soma even back in the day.
The Soma incarnon made me so happy that I wait for CZcamsrs to tell me whether an incarnon is good or not.
I picked burston and then soma. But I really like how it now feels like an AA12 With Rifle mods. It adds utility to the weapon. It really sucks it has lower crit but atleast it has alot of synergy with other builds than crit. Its a nice hybrid and helps us stray away from repetitive game play and weapons. I like the approach because I want unique forms over just simple upgrades
This is why I always wait for the feedback from content creators before making my choice, I WAS gonna go for Vasto and Soma, bit now I'm replacing the Soma with the Burston
Use your own mind. Go for what you want, tubers opinions aren't correct for everyone. You'll get all of them anyways eventually right? If I have a riven then im going for those first and the rest will come later.

I mean the youtubers will show me how the incarnon mode will work for the guns in practice rather than on paper (this is why I held out and picked the burston in the end). I was going for the vasto regardless since I have a riven for it and now that I know what that is capable of I am very excited for when I get it build 🙂

Something I found with the random damage numbers appearing off in random spots. This was happening with the Braton incarnon as well. Any time I would direct hit kill an enemy, the damage numbers wouldn’t appear at the enemy. They would appear at a fixed point in each tile. This game is weird.
So burstons incarnon mode is the soma we've always dreamed of. Gg DE wp
The bug you were asking about is common for me personally. I get it every time I use the trumna. Just looks like an enemy completely off your screen to the right has been killed by your gun very confusing and I cannot impart the knowledge as to why but the bug is definitely not unique to the burston
Im glad that my riven for this gun is bussin bussin. This gun do be better than phenmor imo.
Soma was my Tier 5 while this was my final tier.
A shame what they did to Soma, this however will definitely make up for it

Also, you had to be using Eclipse right? I just can't believe the Burston can anilite a limb that fast lol.
The buff list on top right is extensive 😁 but that is how it should be for eidolons.
I was Looking forward to the burston more because I grinded the prime version in Relics 😮💨 it sucks to hear the Soma is ass cuz I also picked that this circuit but I'll be using It regardless lol

The ricochet is a bug I think, I noticed it last night with my trumna.
*I've also had shots show no damage numbers at all, which is probably from the same effect making the numbers off screen.
Shooting this weapon gives me immense joy. I like the little profile icons interspersed, very cute. I especially like the one that looks like David.
If you were to go against Thrax only, what would you change the bane mod with?

Hello, great video, but in Build 02 is there a particular reason for choosing infected clip + rime rounds over malignant force + primed cryo rounds or is it just a preference? (I am fairly new and not very good at modding yet)
Just hazarding a guess, but I’m assuming he wouldn’t be able to fit malignant force + primed cryo rounds in there. He could change the polarity slot to fit the combo in but that would essentially limit the builds that can be created.

Well, good to know the soma kinda doo doo, was going to go with the soma cause it was a hardcore favorite back in the day but if its the worse choice, which from looking it sounds like it is, then there's no point which sucks. Ack and brunt it is instead then, it sounds fun

The numbers in the wall sometimes happen with Lex incarnon
the phantom damage is the game not knowing where to put the numbers, its from the target your damaging. just shown at what i assume map center.
the reload in tree 3 is bugged to where you get the buff regardless of whether or not your magazine is empty
Reavers rapture + the reload decree = lotta damage in circuit

I got burston for 5 and soma for 10. Ill get both
Ash Prime with Nourish, High Duration and Strength + Burston Prime with Hunter Munition and Gas = 🔥AWESOME🔥
Probably shouldn't use gas on burston, it has a max of 10 stacks, which the burston fills out quickly, and doesn't scale from elemental mods

Gun CO doesnt work on the AOE affects, only direct hits

My main pick was Nami Solo but since i didnt have a burston, vasto or ack i picked soma as my second. I think ill skip farming cause Nami solo do be perfect

There’s actually no way that Burston with base 45 mag got 600 charge and soma with base 200 mag got 200 charge, surely its unintended and they’ll get swapped.. I hope.

Kmf if you use Torid and Saryn 3rd ability it resets your incarnon mod
Correction
Toxic lash extra dmg instance is using the torid stats instead of incarnon stats and because torid charges off body hits toxic lash is giving incarnon ammo

Some tip to farm Circuit SP really fast?
Affinity booster, affinity blessing, get lucky on warframe and weapon picks, stay in sp circuit as long as you can survive without failing.

If you get a shit warframe and/or weapon, complete just 1 round and then extract and try again, that'll reroll the warframes and weapons. When you get a good warframe/weapon just stay in the circuit as long as possible.

Shock trooper and eclipse are what make it good, i use the same build with vile acceleration instead of primed shred and can do 5x3 with it easily
