Necropolis has been my favourite and likely always will be my favourite GG novel
Oh wow that's such a complicated camo to paint well that looks incredible
You knocked that out of the park wicked well done
My brother painted a Dark Angel army and did a tiger stripe pattern on his scouts….looked really good. Keep in mind that a Tiger Stripe pattern is used primarily for jungle environments….
Very nice job with the camo cloak love the videos keep em coming 👍
I've yet to try painting camo at all, and if ever I come up with an appropriate model to try it on, I might could try it out. Good job, Miss Angela!
I watched your video of you building the 1/35 Tamiya Merkava and subscribed straight away. I'm a really big fan of building armoured vehicles, and I absolutely love your work.
Awesome! Thanks so much for subscribing! : )
Wow beautiful best camo I’ve seen yet ❤
That cloak really is something. I have bought about 20 different paints to get the desired effect.
Looks like you had fun, Angela. Good stuff.
That cloak came out fantastic. Wow
Thank you! I’m still quite proud of it!
Dear Angela, Outstanding workmanship! Very informative and inspiring! Best Wishes Johnny
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
the algorythm got me here
the pattern looks good, but overall on a real piece of cloak it would be struggling a bit, because the pattern lacks contrast between the elements
this means it starts blending all together into a single colour blob at distance sooner than a higher contrast pattern, it is extremely green and therefore more effective in grasslands
considering tanith was a forest world its missing brown tones to simulate the ground, fallen leafes and tree bark.
looks great.
Great job with the camo, congrats!
Thanks!
Awsome paint job 👌 👍
Excellent tutorial. I am in the process of painting Gaunt's Ghosts. I am also a Flames of War player and so am used to painting camo, albeit in 15ml. I had also painted some 3D printed minis that were obviously based on Gaunt's Ghosts. I watched this after being dissatisfied with how my models had turned out. This inspired me to start again. Thanks for that. Subscription added.
Nice, I hope you enjoy painting up Gaunt's Ghosts! I bet they will look awesome~
Good job, seems a tropical variant of the old British DPM, in this scale camo it's always a little tricky to do expecially for the shading, but this mini is well done, has a certain "Predator" vibe😂 👍
Going to throw this on my Ariadna.
Awesome!
That mini looks amazing .
Thank you very much!
Great looking!
Thanks!
Dang Angela, that Camo pattern looks freakin’ awesome!
Thank you!
Nicely done
Thanks!
Looks great 👍
Thank you 😊
Needed inspiration for my Aeldari Rangers. Another tool in the tool box.
He look AMAZING!! U number 1 Angela!! 🥰❤️🐶
When do we get a guard miniature of you. One is wanted for my army. 💯🤞 Nice canmo by the way 😊👌
Haha idk, but that would be cool right!
When you stretch for new skills and succeed it is very satisfying. The Noise Marine pushed me to try zebra stripes (Blue and yellow) and leopard spots (purple). I still feel satisfaction when I look at him.
Oooooh i love the sound of that! What a fun pattern to paint.
You inspired to work harder on my gaunts ghosts
Useful!
Glad it was helpful!
This is really good.
Could you do a tutorial for painting desert urban camouflage for Guardsmen?
You did good with Colm. He would've liked that. Fething Cuu...
I really like the camo pattern you did here. Did you mix anything into the Caliban green to get the slightly brown tone? Or does it just dry that way? I picked some up the other day and it's way more forest/ cucumber skin green than I was expecting
Cool! Was just going to start painting camo 40K
You can do it!
That looks so awsome. The cloak and I love the wood finish to the Las Canon I MEAN las gun. Is there anyone that can pain the "new world" digital camoe ? Lots of lil square thats for sure.
Looking forward to more of your Imperial Guard once the move is done. The Camo pattern on this was magnificent! How long until the actual move date?
We get our keys at the end of next week!
Nice work
Thanks
nice job !
Thanks!
holy cow that's excellent, I couldn't get better camo with vinyl stencils etc
Thanks!
You should be happy with your results on this model, it’s quite possibly the best paint job you have done. I’m really enjoying watching you get better with every model you paint. Keep up the good work.
I'm getting into Battletech miniatures and I like how the Army Speed paints are looking. Has anyone tried making camo patterns over a coat of the speed paints?
I have not, but I suspect it's doable. You may have to mix colors though, because there aren't a huge number of browns or greens to pull from with in the line currently that I think would harmonize well as a camo pattern.
What was that book / magazine you showed at 0.58 into the video? Looking for something like that atm for myself
What’s the book shown early in the video that shows the different Cadian regiments color schemes?
Looks amazing! I just wanted to make a correction that the first camo color is Castellan Green, not Caliban. Caliban is dark angels green. I was looking at my paints and was like uhhh, maybe my caliban just isnt formulated right since it isnt brownish haha
I was also thinking caliban looks different here and definitely not olive. Important correction
Angela is the Edna Mode of 40k.

But she hates capes!
@@HobbyNight It’s not a cape. 🤫
It’s a cloak. 😉👍
🤔🤔🤔🤔
What is the name of the book that is shown that has the Regiments Of The Astra Militarum colors and regiments? around 0:57 seconds into the video.
Anyone know which book that is at :59 she’s got open?
Wait, you painted comic books? Which titles? That's cool!
Nothing published, I went to school for comics so I inked a lot for my classes. : )
@@HobbyNight Gotcha! Still good to see old skills being brought back. I did a ton of acrylic, oil, and watercolor but who knew I'd be painting minis? =p
Question: How can I get the same base colour as your camo cloak without having prepared the model with grey then zenith highlight. My models are all primed black. what paint do you think would have the closest finish to your militarum green base layer? Also is your final wash on the cloak watered down, or is it straight out of the pot?
Hmmm, I would find a deep olive color that you like as an alternative. I was looking and I think Death Korps Drab might work well. Also I watered down the wash, not much, but a small amout to help with the flow
@@HobbyNight i just realised i was washing the cloaks in militarum green contrast instead of camoshade. lmao. TOO MANY GREENS
What do you use to b donthe Bases
Does anyone know where to buy the book shown at 0:58?
Are you using GW paint and Army Painter primer
Did you raw dog the spray paint? No gloves???
Nice. Looks awesome, nice and quick too. It is just a shame the kit is such an expensive rip-off. £42.50 for the 6 models compared to £21 for 10 Catachans... Oh and that's IF you can find the Ghosts, they've been sitting on the UK site as out of stock for months.
Like, comment and sub for this one
Thanks a bunch!
"I am not going to be do this camo pattern on my entire guard army. I... feel lie thats a bit masochistic and i dont wanna do that to myself" 11:37
Me -> Having guard since 2010 and painting over 5500 points -> full camo, three colours and another colour for the flak armour and lasgun.
Over 250 men and women Infantry, plus 15 armored Vehicles. ALL FULL CAMO PATTERN!
*my belief in the emperor is endless*
Not to be a grammar nazi but forest is not spelt with two Rs unless it's the name.
Stop saying Caucasian. White people aren't from the Caucasus and you wouldn't say Mongoloid or Negroid, the other designations from the racial categorization Caucasian comes from.
Two words. Motor. Boat.
