- This is a review of the new PRS CE SE 24!. This guitar is simply incredible for the price. Paul Reed Smith guitars is known for their high quality instruments, but are a bit pricey. Over the years they have really made a mark in the lower price points, this being the best I've seen so far. Outstanding Value!

Looks and sounds great. I dig the matte finish as well, though that particular color is not my jam, it certainly wouldn't be my first choice. Seems like really great value at that price point. Kind of a shame no stainless steel frets as those are getting more and more popular on lower priced guitars.
Great looking and sounding guitar and thanks for the video. The finish looks awesome like you said but it looks like warm satin to me, which is cool too!
I love mine ! It's the identical guitar to the SE CE 24 has a mahogany body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard with the same hardware and electronics...the ONLY difference is the mahogany body does not have the glossy maple veneer top. Also keep in mind it's $200 less !!! I have the vintage cherry red. It's incredibly resonant...
I hear some VH 5150 tone in that bridge pickup when overdriven!
Great video! Definitely spot on with all you mentioned about this guitar. Not joking, I tried one of these at GC a week ago. I had to check the price tag 3 times at least, thinking it was a used price at first. I couldn’t believe how well it played, felt, and sounded!! Definitely rivals guitars 4x its price. I will definitely be grabbing one asap!

I play the whole Guitar most of the time and it's important that the higher frets/notes are clear and in tune...Other than that, I like the guitar...24 frets...Where can i get one?
So silly that they don’t use locking tuners. It’s not that expensive to do.

In a way that's a good sign. It means people are voting with their wallets, which is sending a message to manufacturers that this is what we want. PRS has a winner here.
@@mjamiep12 I did find one at GC the other day and I had some pedals to trade in, so got it for $160! plays very well!
