Philip Bailey was, and still is, a vocal beast, Very few human beings are capable of the things he does.
OMG!!!! Earth Wind and Fire were the bomb. yes I am old. But I was in my teens then and I love every one of their hits. and there are so many. I still have my vinyl collection from the 60, 70, 80, and the 90's. that what I listen to. when I see young people getting into the older music makes me happy. I like Him Hop too. I was there from the beginning. Run DMC Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock. NWA. anyway. just love your channel.

This amazing band with the best singers, instrumental performers lasted decades being on top of the music charts. Great live prefromance. I never missed one show when they came in town. Yes iam a fan.
A mix of ancient Egypt and Wakanda- ( African) EWF were ahead of their time and quite spiritual. The great Phillip Bailey on falsetto.
EWF is a band you gotta see live if you get the chance it's one awesome live act you can never go wrong with these guys!!

The greatest band ever Earth, Wind, and Fire aka The Elements. Philip Bailey's falsetto was amazingly strong. Check out Devotion Live by them its crazy.
Superlatives will get you a lot of places. Just don’t confuse them with suppositories, which typically go only one place

Insofar as superlatives are concerned, I ‘get’ that you’re a fan.
Among might be a better choice, particularly if you begin to understand that not everyone has the same tastes in music as you (and that’s ok!)
I’ve seen some fabulous bands. I could not possibly say one was definitively better than all others.
I will say this, out of all the bands and music I have listened to, there was not, and is not one that could top Earth Wind & Fire. They could harmonize, they were very good musicians. And to sing the way they did, there was nobody better than Earth Wind & Fire. Check out their biography. Need I type more?

@@sixfootbeauty yes he was, actually had a baby by one of them, I forget which one but I think it was the youngest one and I’m not sure if it was during the time of reasons I believe it was around the time of boogie wonderland around 78 or so.

If you pay attention after the sax solo, Phillip kept interrupting him lol. That whole thing was ad libbed call and response which is really difficult.
It’s sad a lot of people don’t appreciate timeless classics like this it touches your soul
