I'm always shocked by how tame the police can be in the UK. In Florida you'd have a steel toe cap in the side of your head by being a dick head at a major police incident. This was probably a major police chase or a terror stop.

There's only two 5G towers I know of near me... Both of which have had fatal crashes... However both locations are where people drive like idiots on a daily basis, and don't slow down or stop at the junctions, which is what leads to the crashes. The same goes for a crossroads roughly 20 metres from my house, which has had at least 20-25 crashes in the last 2 years alone which I've heard or seen, not to mention the ones I haven't heard or seen... Yet that crossroads isn't even that bad, as there's one roughly a quarter of a mile East which I'd estimate has had at least 50 crashes in the same time, plus another crossroads roughly 3 quarters of a mile North-West is the worst crash hotspot in the city, and has been for at least 10 years.
The 2officers that came up to you is a Sergeant he gets on it in Police Interceptors,clocked him straight away man,mad,and yes crazy scenes bro,they never seal scenes off properly bro&then it gets gridlocked like u was in.Madness.Stay safe bro...😎The officer on the right.

A high vis gets you noticed from distance, have you ever walked down roads at night where it is pitch black? That farmer nearly ran Marti over and the fact those 2 morons were just getting in the way of everyone, from being next to the tractor when its pulling the land rover out to standing behind an arctic when it's reversing, not the most intelligent of people these 2. And as for wandering onto a major incident, it is pretty easy to see that and not hard to figure out that they don't want people walking through it, and how many more drivers from behind the slow sign were walking through that incident area? The vehicles were moving slowly. And the two of them were well aware of their situation. That the first rule in H&S training - you are responsible for your own safety.

As you said, first rule of Health and Safety is to keep yourself safe, and they didn't even do that well, standing next to a tractor pulling the Landrover out of the ditch and behind a reversing HGV shows they don't understand that at all, though at least with a hi vis someone would be able to shout at them and tell them to move out of the bloody way 😄

It wouldn't have bothered me... I once saw an old woman get her head smashed open by a guy who drove through a Red light at roughly 30mph. I calmy started jogging across the road to her, while 2 guys behind me decided to run as fast as they could, not that it would have made any difference. She was lying in a pile of blood, and was certain she wouldn't make it, as she must have been in her 80s or 90s at least. However I kept checking the news for weeks, but never saw any news stories of a death. I gave the Police a statement of what I saw, and then left. Around 5 years ago at my grandmas wake, my 6ft 4in 20+ stone brother-in-law somehow lost his balance, fell over, and demolished roughly 2 metres of solid wood picket fence supported by metal beams cemented into the ground. He smashed his head open too, along with injuring his back, arms, and no doubt other places. He was unable to speak properly, couldn't stand up or walk, had no idea what happened, insisted he was fine, and was like that for over an hour when the "emergency" ambulance finally arrived. Again, I was the calmest person in the place. While my sister, who has seen death countless times, is in charge of administering medication at her work, and is first aid trained, was panicking, and refusing to listen to my first aid advice which was to "leave him on the floor in the recovery position." She insisted we stand him up, and get him to sit on a chair, which took most of the hour even with 3 or 4 of us trying to lift him. I've seen people get their legs broken (where again my sister panicked) and shoulders dislocated at football, plus many more things, and as usual I never panic, as it doesn't bother me.
