This performance of the Lennox Berkeley piece was superb. As good as the original performance by Julian Bream. Astonishing.

A most sensitive and interesting performance; in the late 1970s, I had the honour to meet Sir Lennox when he visited his "Aunt" Miss Jackson at Boar's Hill in the house where he was born and where I was then living. I hope to hear/see you perform more.

Laura, this knocks me off my pants. Phantastic performance, very passionate and what a great tone in your fingers. Chapeau!!!

  • @neilstewart.acousticguitar1313

Such dexterous hands ! they work magic in producing these sounds. She really inhabits the music and dances it out. And, to me, the Bream element is this and also her totally fluid apoyando

Wonderful playing! A lovely piece! Well done... I’m a friend of Andrew York; have you performed any of his works? I also am a composer-jazz pianist. I wrote a piece commissioned by Gregg Nestor called “Introspections, Music For Two Classical Guitars”! This three-movement piece won the American Prize, Chamber Music Division In 2013. It was recorded by Gregg and Ray Burley (from England) and is on Cambria Records with transcriptions of works by Poulenc, Rosza, Debussy, Turina and Beaulieu. Interestingly, my piece is the only one on the record-entitled “Kaleidoscope”-written exclusively for two guitars. Again, let me state how much I enjoyed this performance and this piece! You are a consummate artist! 🎼👍🥰

In this video there was an excellent guitar sound that i like to listen, plus there was an excellent technic and nuance, but the music that you played was not my tybe, however, i listened to it till the end. Of course, i prefer Bach guitar transcriptions, Barrios, Aguado, Scarlatti, Lauro , Tarrega, and many others. But as i said in the beginning of my comment, you are a giant artist.

Beautiful performance. However it was rudely interrupted by 2 commercials with someone screaming right off the bat to sell something. It ruined the moment that was otherwise a dream state.
