Marcelito Pomoy was homeless and is self taught. He goes from opera to pop voice, from male to female vocal registers. Absolutely amazing. He has a breath control and support that's awesome, he doesn't strain with none of the notes and there are low and high notes in both male and female registers he switches back and forth that are hard to hit pitch perfectly as he does. What a technique and talent.
Note he is sitting down, neither language is his primary language and I believe this is the most listened to video in CZcams History..last I heard 40 million it could be higher now..Thank you for the reaction

You're one of the VERY few credible ones. Many so-called "Vocal coach" or "Voice Teacher" have terrible voices, but you have a pleasant speaking voice and you did a very short vocalization to show what you can do.

Better late than never. I had the great privilege of meeting and watching him in concert in June in Toronto. Watching him live was like an out of body experience. The videos DO NOT do his voice any justice. Proud to be Filipino. Cheers from Toronto.

Christi, great reaction. He had a very rough life and zero vocal training. You apparently know that this song was sung by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. Please react to Marcelito Pomoy Power Of Love which was also sung by Celine Dion and Wish 107.5 Music Awards Marcelito Pomoy Morissette Amon Secret Love Song. I don't remember if I have seen you react to Morissette but in case you haven't she is also one of many great singers from the Philippines and at that Music Awards show where they sang that duet she won 8 awards.
It takes a while to get your head around this,its so clever that he is so competent in both registers. Didn't know you'd been to the Philippines. Have you not discovered the Philippines biggest talent(s) yet, the TNT boys? They didn't exactly have the easiest starts in life,particularly one of them who was collecting reuseable waste off the streets to sell to try & earn a little money for food,pre school age,and it was common for him to go to bed on an empty stomach for 3 days & water was his only meal, & now is the most beautiful,funny,outragously talented boy who along with the other 2 boys could well be the future of the music industry worldwide for the next 20-30 years or more

One of them it's chinese, his name is Jason Zhang, and he sing in The Singer 2017 and have some very goods performances, i really like one, it's Myself. You'll enjoy that. And the another singer it's from south korea, his name it's Park Hyo Shin, and he it's another king of the industry, and you'll love his performance of Wild Flower. Fighting 💘

For most vocal reactors this is fun...for me this man is God gifted...a man that can sing as good as one of the best famale singers and probably as good or better ,because you can see there its no effort to reach any hight note,as Andrea Bocelli,its not fun for me.This is a very sirius singer even if he dont have any vocal coaching what makes him more great...I really respect this man .

The Philippines has the best singers. Don't know why, but even an average singer there seems to be light years beyond any other country. Maybe it's the drive and determination of the Filipino people, or the culture, maybe genetics but it's for sure amazing. I've seen it many times in person

Christy, Marcelito takes this song to yet another level in the release of his album, "Duet Yourself". Since it is a tracked recording, he includes all of the harmonies where Bocelli and Dion sing together in harmony. It is quite beautiful with Marcelito singing the lead (Bocelli) in tenor/baritone and the alto harmony (Dion) in countertenor. This song also includes a marvelous background orchestra.
