A stunning comeback by Nick Itkin at the Shanghai Grand Prix, starting 2 - 12 down, and then 8 - 14 down against Tomasso Marini. This allowed him to win the incredible result of a silver medal at 19, losing only 15 - 14 to Alessio Foconi in the final.

It's amazing how much fencers can change and improve even when they're already world class. Just yesterday I was amazed at how much Ryan Choi's fencing changed over the last 2 years.
I agree with you Itkin and Marini both a lot more refined now
