This girl shared all the genuine points . IT job is kind of mixture of your skills and luck . I have worked on many project where I felt 100 days out of 365 are relaxed and 100 days could be hactic and 25 to 45 days are very hactic , pressured even have to work on weekend and few days would be there when you will not have any work whole days. Main thing is update your skills and learn new things

I was selected in wipro in 2022 as project engineer, but didnt got joining till now, but finally I found a job in startup as full stack developer, now I am very happy, my work life balance is really good and the environment is very relaxing, salary is also decent atleast more than wipro's

I have no friends, or may be I will never even get married. So my life is completely empty. Huge work pressure of IT easily fills that void and it made me workaholic lol. I have no family to look after. So work pressure will help me to reduce loneliness.
though i am not from IT background but then also i watched this video fully & she explained it very well i would say..i am 30 yrs now & when i look back i started my career at 24, i remembered i got selected for 2 opportunities one from Genpact for accounts payable role & another from EY for junior auditor role. thankfully i chose EY over Genpact and currently working in EY as a Manager..i am heavily proud about it now. Even though work pressure is there but then also peaceful work environment & employee friendly policy makes it far better company..

You remind me of my old days in HCL :) --------- I am working in IT for last 18 years .... and right now I am settled abroad ... All I can say IT industry is done ... now we are entering into a period of Incubation ..... 3 - 4 years down the line there will be something that will form into a wave and provide maximum carrier and job opportunity ... just like it was IT industry in 90s. When I started off my journey in BTech .... at that time people around me confuse of me saying soft-drinks instead of soft-ware :)...but it just took off ... and I make good money, got visas and everything .. I think now IT time is over and something new is brooding .... no Idea .. what that is though...cheers

Soon it will all be Azure\AWS Devops only, Azure/AWS skill is now much easier to attain and will be much comparable to MS Office Skill, low paid mid level skill very soon. Specially for Basic CRUD operations which is 70%-80% work SE do and maintain in general, there are already off-the-shelf component. All in All, Jobs will always be there for SE but salary will equivalent to any clerical job. That is the end I was talking about. High paying fields will not IT developers & configurations.

Afrer getting placed from cllg i worked for an year..It was frustrating to obey all the orders from manager and compramise with personal me time... Without even second thought i resigned then took a break of 6 months.. Then prepared for Gate exam,now i am in maharatna psu,salary and allowance is really great without much work.. Only lucrative thing in IT is you can go abroad and settle there permanently if you are the capable resource. Otherwise work culture in India is pathetic.

Instead of chasing on Govt. Jobs try in IT fields , it grooms whole personality. Do hard work 5 to 6 years initially then with that earned experience one can get better package or onsite . IT is LEARN AND EARN.
There are all type of people. Some may be happy in IT too and there will be some who aren't happy in govt job too. My friend switched from IT to govt job and after three years he's back in IT. Whereas another known in govt job resigned a few yrs back and permanently settled in Australia.

Explained the work culture inside IT offices. Even after 30 yrs of the advent of the software I still couldn't able to understood about the software industry. Here you have to work like a demon as you have explained. Nevertheless, your LPA goes up after 3 yrs of work experience. But the company will extract too much work from the employees and compensate them adequately too. But the employees are drained out very heavily. Pros and cons are both side. Having 8 years of exp in IT. I have managed to purchase my 3bhk flat in delhi ncr , one car and one 2000 square feet plot witbout loan. MY post tax is 170k per month. While my friends are working in govt sector having 60-70k salary living on rent. It is worth , if would be working with them I would not be able to achieve financial freedom so much early. Sarkari naukri mindset will always keep you average.

People blame civil engineering alot. I say i like it, just make it a bit professional. Treat employees with more holidays as it involves physical exertion (70%) and mental exertion (30%). Reverse is true for IT, there is more mental exertion (70%) and less physical exertion (30%)
You are telling one thing wrong in Europe work regulations is quite strict as per the government rules there you have to work only 6-7 hours there ,no one can put pressure extra work there .European people even work more less ,plus job security and labour law is quite strict there even if your poor performance is there in company be it start up ,be it big MNC ,job fire is extremely tougher in European countries because of strict labour laws in European union government,same for onsite people also ,but yes usa ,Canada is different there nothing this type of law exist there they put extra work.In current job market Google, Amazon big tech company struggle to fire employees in European countries.

There are all type of people. Some may be happy in IT too and there will be some who aren't happy in govt job too. My friend switched from IT to govt job and after three years he's back in IT. Whereas another known in govt job resigned a few yrs back and permanently settled in Australia.

Explained the work culture inside IT offices. Even after 30 yrs of the advent of the software I still couldn't able to understood about the software industry. Here you have to work like a demon as you have explained. Nevertheless, your LPA goes up after 3 yrs of work experience. But the company will extract too much work from the employees and compensate them adequately too. But the employees are drained out very heavily. Initially I had also thought that the software industry is very Hi - Fi, like this, like that etc...etc.....In this video you have neatly and elaborately explained about the work culture.....Thank you very much.......

Ye apne apna opinion btadia hai ki project se release na milne p company switch krna pdega etc...aisa kuch ni it depends on your talent and relation with your manager when you are a part of any project you have to sign an NOC in which tenure is written + if you are not enjoying working in that project you can ask for release I can understand definately it will take time aisa ni ki aaj bola release k liye and kl milgya there is a process it will take sometime wo apka replacement le aaenge and apko release krdenge iska ye bilkul mtlb ni h ki apko company chorni pdegi + bhut sari other information bhi apne bas extra di hai jo ki sbpe applicable ni hota hai

MY post tax is 170k per month.
While my friends are working in govt sector having 60-70k salary living on rent.
It is worth , if would be working with them I would not be able to achieve financial freedom so much early.
Sarkari naukri mindset will always keep you average.

You are telling one thing wrong in Europe work regulations is quite strict as per the government rules there you have to work only 6-7 hours there ,no one can put pressure extra work there .European people even work more less ,plus job security and labour law is quite strict there even if your poor performance is there in company be it start up ,be it big MNC ,job fire is extremely tougher in European countries because of strict labour laws in European union government,same for onsite people also ,but yes usa ,Canada is different there nothing this type of law exist there they put extra work.In current job market Google, Amazon big tech company struggle to fire employees in European countries.
