Safe to say your skills as a mechanic and your electronics wizardry are clearly excellent and evident, but your skills as a video content creator, producer, soundtrack selector, and editor are next level amazing. If you ever wanted to move in a different direction, your talents would be in very high demand by other CZcamsrs. That you pull this off every 72-hours boggles my mind. Thank you! 👍👍👍
Whoever wins Ragnar....is one LUCKY person!!! That's a sweet car!!
Grew up with and loved many bugs, but never forget you have ten gallons of gasoline basically sitting on your lap.
@@bwalker4194 I've had many a baja bugs, even rolled in 'em etc and never had any kinda fire situation with tank in front, j/s
Who else instantly hits the like button when a new Sarah vid appears?
I did!!!!
I do this
Right here
Always
Yup already know its gonna be good. 😂
Props to Charlie and Angel for being the best support crew.
Dont you mean Angel food cake! Lol
@@johnkreiner7842 It's hypotenuse, not isosceles!
@@nolaspeaker5656 i fixed it happy? Lol
Sarah, we haven't left a comment on every video but we've been watching and are so inspired by you! You've done so much work on ragnar and we're fired up to see who takes it home!
Don't be alarmed, Sarah, some of Us are here for brackets and wires and trim and miserable shit. Please keep doing those too.
Who knew Sarah hung out with Charlie's Angels... Awesome build Sarah.
Angel Food Cake giggling at your jokes makes me giggle too. Please continue.
My daughter and I have had so much fun watching these videos. It has also inspired us to do more to the 1992 Isuzu Pup that she got when my Mom passed away in 2020. Thank you so much for the chance to win this great Bug as well.
I voted for you for SEMA influencer of the year. FYI.
You are definitely dedicated to what you do. Much respect!
Uh.. how? I didn’t go to SEMA Haha 🤔
Not sure but I think I heard a tire rub when it turned into the garage.
Well aware, inner pinch weld needs to be trimmed still.
Damn this is one of the cleanest bug builds I’ve ever seen. I’ve never wanted a bug before, but this looks like so much fun!
I am always in awe of your technical mechanical skills and the humor that you inject into these well-thought-out videos. Your talent is amazing. Kudos to Angel and Charlie for their valued assistance in this build.
I love the fact you kept the Bar ends.
Love your kind heart and salty language, a unique combination. Ragnar has been resurrected!
We think Charlie is the coolest, too!
Angel seems like he's having fun helping out!
Sarah, telling you that you have it going on is a way understatement. Anyone calls you a slacker is just hatin’. Hooray for Charlie to the rescue! Thankful for Angel Food Cake for assistance. Press on Sarah!
Love that you put the bike handles back… and you even cleaned them😂! Love the videos Sarah!!!🧡
Charlie is the pick-up wizard behind the curtain.....Thank you Charlie and thank you Sarah for making my new bug....lol. It's worth a shot.
I felt the presence of my daddy who had a 68 and a 72 beetle. Fingers crossed!
Alouette, gentille Alouette, Alouette, je te plumerai...you were almost there with "A la bracket"..... you are so so amazingly talented...you Rock...full time...
Such an inspiring and satisfying moment to see Ragnar drive! This is a testament to Sarah's hard work and perseverance. Once again, very inspiring.
I absolutely know how much of a time saver it is to have parts magically appear! Huge time saver!
Wonderful to see it move under it's own power. Are you sure something isn't wrong? VW engines always leak... LOL. Keep up the great work- love the channel.
You rock Sarah! Awesome work!!! I hope the winner really enjoys Ragnar!
You Rock! and another awesome video!
Ragnar is coming out amazing, fantastic job Sarah.....
You are an incredible mechanic, and this beetle has been a pleasure to watch you rebuilding it. Such hard work, love and devotion, these cars are like your children.
This Cookie Cake guy or whatever you call him is a fantastic addition to your team, I know he is just helping, but you guys look amazing on camera together.
His name is Angel Food Cake Puffer Fish Expert Mechanic
Love his semi-hysterical laughter when Sarah comes up with one of her... Sarah-isms.
You two make a great team.
It's nice to see Ragnar on the move. I noticed the turn signals on the top of the brake lights came on when you applied the brakes. Ragnar rocks!
I mentioned in the previous video they may be wired backwards with the tail lights switched to the indicators leaving them on when the lights are on.
The car isn't finished being wired yet, notice how there's no hood, dash isn't installed, loose harnesses. I'm waiting on parts, so no, nothing is wired incorrectly.
I'm so entertained watching these videos, great job on this all terrain bug 🐛 👏
Love when you swear and you don’t bleep over it.....natural
James May once said. that a beetle without question, is the most interesting car that’s ever existed. 🙌💯
Having had a 1965 Bug as my first car when I was in high school, I can testify that not only is it important they GO, but equally important that they STOP!
I learned a lot about basic ICE functions with that car. I always said it was easy to work on - which was a good thing, because I was always working on that damn thing.
Great series, congratulations to you and your team on the successful rebuild, and best of luck to the person who wins Ragnar!
You are a damn good mechanic, Sarah. Great video,
Ground clearance is impressive
Sarah, I believe you're ready for that 911 build! Your content keeps getting better and better. I'm glad the motor didn't leak. Angst avoided!
There is nothing like watching a funny, smart, curious person make a really cool car. Thanks.
It's alive!! Well done Sarah. Glad Angel is feeling better. Can't wait to see the completed car! Take care.
Love your analogies! Amazing work as usual!!
Blood, sweat, and tears pays off!! Way to go Sarah!!! 👍👍😊
Really well done Girl..!!!
Hats off to you!!!!
: )
Perfect timing... got my Sarah-n-tuned shirts in the mail and this video popped up... right living🤠
Whoever wins this is one lucky person, your attention to detail is second to none!
Bring back Angel! It’s great seeing you with company! Get better soon Angel! Oh,Charlie is ok too 😅
I know you said the CZcams algorithm punishes you for these "less exciting" videos but they're kind of my favorite
Getting a project to the point where it runs and moves under it's own power is the best feeling. Timing/tuning/etc is a small task compared to everything leading up to it.
Ragnar looks better all the time. I was really impressed with the brake line bending. And no leaks!! Yeah, it doesn't sound like it's running as it should, but you have lots o' talent in that area.
Congrats. Quite an epic journey. Fun to watch Ragnar evolve from junk to classic.
For the shift bushing replacement you can tie a rope on the other end of the shifter linkage so you can pull the linkage back and not get tangled up inside the tube. That’s for anyone whose doing this job solo :)
Fraulein, that V Dub looks really aggressive. Great series, in a mechanics video, best looking mechanic, PERIOD!
Great job Sara! I know, from following your vids, that Halloween indeed is one of your favorite holidays. That should show people how much personal time is invested in this build. Gonna be a lucky person to tote around Ragnar 😁
Dear Charlie
Please continue to be your awesome self but bring food for you both each trip 🙏
Can’t expect heat if you don’t stoke the boiler
This is one quality build
Hopefully we see you dressed in both hallowe’en costumes soon after getting them
Great work as Usual Sarah. Great to see Ragnar alive and being able to be driven.
Always loved the old beetles. Ragnar is awesome! Sarah is awesome! :)
Turned out awesome!
Sara, love it when angel laughs of your jokes !!😂
Welcome to the family of automotive restoration :) you are incredible.
Angels/Angel's At Work 😉 Great job, everyone! 👍👍👍 Thank you, all!
Yeah! Now it not only looks like a car again, it also drives like one too! Great progress! Almost a bit sad to see the end is near, though - I have been enjoying this a lot! Also, thank you for uploading so early I did not have to wait until the middle of the night to see it - and as always: thank you for what you do and STAY AWESOME!
Get well soon Angel!
I love watching your content its entertaining and funny
Love the handgrip covers. For future DIY wiring, you can use sparkplug wire boots - both plug and distributor, straight and right angle - to make nice little covers for electrical gizmos. Very clean and looks professional.
Missed early morning coffee with Sarah but caught up later in the arvo 😁🇦🇺 Brilliant as usual.
Who knew, a great mechanic, plus great music taste...Nice!
Radnar is beautiful! Great job! It looks like a brand new car! 🍺
Nice work. Just love the simplicity of the people's car.
I am extremely excited about Ragnar.
It is perfect that you are adjusting the carbs, that was it is officially Sarah-N-Tuned. 😉
It's hard to believe that those tires are not going to be hitting those fenders or suspension bits when the suspension fully compresses while off roading or cornering with some speed. You have put a ton of work into this car!
Sawzall
Yup. Them tires is way to big. Otherwise great job as usual Sarah
odd noise at 14:24...fender rub?
I had the same design on my bug but I did raise it up off the all terrain tires, was a 4x looking bug
SO exciting to see Ragnar drive! I had no doubt it'd fire right up, but it's still a sight to behold! Bravo! 👏
It's been years since I've heard a Beetle running! Looks great Sarah!
You've done a great job with the beetle.
Must say, I've learned a lot about these VW's after watching you rework it front to back and top to bottom.
Very cool car. Nice job with it.
Looks killer, all your work (along with your helpers) paid off! The winner is going to be so chuffed!
what a llittle gem, whoever wins this car is sooo lucky
Hi, We are from Brazil. We are renovating our Kombi to turn it into a Motorhome.
Today, our greatest difficulty is the tools we don't have... Everything gets more difficult.
Congratulations !!!
Hope you address the fender rub when you do your final adjustments. You can hear it rub really loud when you put the car back into the shop.
not the fender, inner pinch weld needs to be trimmed still. I'll get to it, car isn't done.
Your competency can be a little jaw dropping sometimes, and I mean that in only the most complimentary of ways.
Love this. Had a super beetle when I was in high school. Great little beast.
I CANNOT wait for Sarah to deliver Ragnar to me, in New Hampshire!
that car is badass looking great work sarah
Great job Miss Sarah! You knocked it out of the park on ragnar and I can't wait to hear what your next project is.
So great to see Ragnar coming together, you need a break -- damn!! love the attention to detail on those brake lines--- very cool! and you torque everything--- impressive!!!
Nice job - I think you have the brake light bulbs and blinkers swapped however 😊
I'm waiting on parts to finish the wiring up. It's wired correctly, what's wired so far.
@@SarahnTuned Our 69 bug the blinkers were the top sections of the tail lights and brakes center (reverse at bottom) - maybe the sun was shining and made it look different
Great job and great fun videos, Sarah. Ragnar needs a valve adjustment BADLY, though.
Hes alive!!! I didnt doubt u for a second. That sock and wiping ass analogy is hands down the best thing i have ever heard on the internet.
Crows foot learned something today ,thanks Sarah 👍
"Thanks past Sarah", nearly fell out of my chair when that came up, no idea why but it made my day! PS: Damn that video was four years ago, been watching well over 4years, there you go...
Outstanding work. Awesome series, hate to see it end soon.
been watching since teeter. love seeing you kicking ass at this. keep it up girl!!
Please don't burn yourself out! Take a break for things like Halloween! Ragnar winner can wait an extra day. And viewers can too.
I love making brake lines too! but i almost always make them out of nickel-copper line, which is super easy and fun to bend by hand and flaring the softer metal is a bit easier. I hate making stainless lines, just the worst to bend and flare.
Amazing build and so delightful to watch this ”wirtschaftswunder” coming back together. In Denmark we called the Bug for "Mariehønen".. Can't wait to see who wins it..! :)
Ragnar is a relay race that started in Utah in 2004. I don't know if that was mentioned yet or not.
"Ragnar was a king and hero of early 9th century Scandinavia. He was a conqueror, a wild man, a leader, fearless and free-spirited.*
In much the same way, today’s Ragnarians fulfill their freedom to roam, to explore, to lead, - a free-spirited desire to get out there and experience an outdoor adventure with friends. They traverse beautiful scenery, conquer challenges, and celebrate as a team. They outfit themselves in crazy costumes, deck out their vans and tents and walk away with kick-ass medals, bragging rights and unforgettable stories of this epic adventure!"
That's according to their website.
Beautiful work, you are an inspiration as always.
Great jobs and videos on this project but we all knew it would be!! Halloween will be back next year. I was going to enter but I just couldn’t see all that work coming to western New York and being stored for 49 weeks during our winter season.
Ragnar deserves to be driven and enjoyed in a drier weather situation. Again great job done right😊
so heart warming to see you give those big props to Young Charlie, for the hippies that means Groovy.
Almost there! I'd cruise in that Ragnar Bug! Can't wait for the finale.......goose bumps.
So straight faced:. Regarding Arse & torn sox.... gotta luvya Sarah. J
