I want to make the perfect purchase for my dad's car as a gift, and this one is gonna be perfect for him and mom, due to the physical buttons, easy to use them, not like the other Seicane multimedia you also had. Thanks! The harness type will depend on your location, European will be different than North America vs Asia etc. My suggestion is to remove the factory radio and check what style it has to ensure you get that or buy the adapter harness.
@@esqu3l3to So I have 3 harnesses in the back of the head unit (here photo: imgur.com/a/POofXz0 ), and from what I saw in your video, you have 2 for the head unit.
Usually they are in the two main connectors. The third is either usb/aux or other audio connection. Let me see if I can find something - so yours is a 2006, which submodel?
I think that I'll buy this unit. After few days, does it the job as expected? The GPS is "correct"? Does the buttons on the steering wheel works fine to with this unit? And, once again, very well explained video, thanks for your job !
You can use the link I provided as it helps me out. GPS works just fine as soon as you download maps (I use google). You can also use offline maps. As for the steering wheel controls, I dont have any but im sure they will work just fine.
They are used for flashdrives with music, videos, even pics. Some of these units can also be connected to 4G dongles to in-car wifi. Also, for charging your phone.

Does yours have premium sound or an amplified system? Steering wheel controls?

hello, just ordered this plus wiring harness from ebay you posted. Is wiring the two together straight forward? matching the colors?
Correct, match each color. One plug is for th power wires and the other for most of the speakers if I remember correctly.
If I buy this unit but for Nissan not the universal one do I need to buy a harness still?
You may not need a harness, but depends on the year and model. If they make a plug and play for it.
